Good Morning Ladies,
Last evening: Viper but I felt washed out doing it and off. I also felt sluggish at work. I wonder if I am coming down with something or if I just had an off day. If it was an off day, it was a very off day. Does this happen to anyone else? What does it mean?

Tonight: LowMAx is on schedule.

Have a good, healthy day.

good morning. dh came to bed at 3:45 and i haven't been able to go back to sleep. Today is Legs and Glutes.

Jeez, when I checked, noone had posted yet. Oh well, below is my post.

Goooood Afternoon ladies,

Yes, it's lunch time overhere. And we celebrate our liberation of the Germans 60 years ago.

Well, May is the month where I will try to incorporate a 4th weekly run, and today was the day. I ran 3K using the C25K method to slowly acqaint my knees with this new thing. I ran 5min and walked 1 min. Sofar, my knees are just fine, but we'll see how they respond tomorrow, when I do my usual 7K tempo run.

First time this year I ran early. Man.. it was cold!! Only 4C. And a lot more runners then I'm used too. But that could be cause today is a national holiday.

When I got home I added GS-UB timesaver. Loved that it was shorter. And Because you don't do as many sets, I could up the weights on practically all exercises, eg using 18 pounds for bench press and for lat rows.

Anyways, will have lunch now.

Enjoy your workouts,
Dutchie

Morning all,
Yesterday for me was LowMax at home and free weights and machines at the Gym. Today a softball game on schedule.

Good Morning.

No work out for me last night. Had good intentions but just not enough time....Oh well! Hopefully tonight then...

Have a great day everyone!

Good Morning All!

Unscheduled rest day for me - blech!!!

Cathy: I don't have any insight as to what is going on, but I have been feeling the exact same way since Monday.

Jes: Enjoy L&G - that is a great leg workout!

Dutchie: Thanks for the tip on GS UB Timesaver. I really never would have thought to do it, but the idea of really going heavy on the weights is a great idea.

Micki: Enjoy your softball game.

Wendy: You inspire all of us!

Have a great day...

Tammy

Greetings Fit Women :)

Dutchie: how did your run go? I ran/ walked 4 miles yesterday up from the 5K and then I walked as I played golf. The extra walking during golf was unplanned, and very hilly.
Tammy: don't fret about the unplanned rest day, your body probably will get some nice rest.
Wendy: Are you getting any rest? I remember sleeping as being restless at the end of my pregnancies. But 'cat naps' are great if you can sneak them in.
Jes: I haven't done L&G since the HC series arrived, GO for it!
Micki: softball sounds fun, it is great to be active outdoors after the winter months.

I'm hoping to get in 9 holes of golf today.

Good Morning Ladies! Cathy - I totally know how you feel. I had that last week. I just think it's your body saying it needs a break :)

Today is Step Blast and Power Hour if my son ever naps. He spent most of yesterday tossing his blankie over the crib and giggling so I would come in and rescue him. Cute but grrr when you're trying to get things done ;)

Debbie

Hello, Ladies!

Cathy-I felt like that this week, but when I pushed myself through the workout I felt better. I am also PMSing. Makes me feel tired.

Today is day 5 of A-Jock's Faux CTX Rotation. I did IM 3 w/u, IM 3 Blast Only, HSC Abs, MM Biceps, & HSC Stretch.

Back to house hunting. This is getting so frustrating. We put an offer on this house, and the realtor who listed it doesn't want to sell it just yet. The owner wants to! I told my husband and realtor we need to move on. What the HeLL! Who's house is it anyway? Sorry I had to vent.

Have a great day!

Good morning everyone!

I did 30 min on the treadmill this morning, not what I had planned, but better when nothing right. :)

DH is still home sick :( , he went to the doctor yesterday and they gave him antibiotics. I am mad now x( , I hate him taking that stuff, I don't think he is that sick that he needs that, but what can I do.

Maybe I get to do some weights tonight when I get home, but I doubt it :(

Anyway, hope everybody else has a fun and good workout out or a well deserved rest day!

Kristine :)

Good morning ladies:

Today is IMAX 2, and 60 minutes on the elliptical and a good stretch.

But, first GrocerystoreMax with my mom.

Have a good day!

Hi, ladies:

Tuesday I did back and biceps in the gym.... I also did 35 minutes on the bike. I was not too motivated, though, as I have some kind of cold/fluish thing going on which kept me in bed all day yesterday. Yuck. But I am feeling slightly better today.

My Yoga Booty Ballet should (finally!) come today so maybe I will do that later if I am up to it.

I am feeling squishy and out of shape!!

Hope you all have a great day.

Cheers,
Marie

Good morning everyone,

Today was ME. Haven't done that one is ages, really kicks me in the booty!

Have a great day, everyone!

Tonight is Birthdaymax for my DH, so some goodies are probably in store as well!

Morning Everyone,

WE WON!!!! The game was 5-3. Some of the ladies where complaining of strained quad muscles. They must not work out. I was running around the bases no problem. }( One girl was complaining how her quads hurt and wondered if she should do something? Ya! Exercise! But I kept my mouth shut! :D

Today is GS Chest & Triceps plus Coremax #1, also some type of cardio.

Cathy, the time I usually feel like that is PMSing also. Never seem to have enough energy.

Have a great day!

Laurie Mac

Good morning all!

Well, I got my high step yesterday, and was feeling very sluggish last night (maybe it's something in the air?), so I did the High Step Circuit workout that came with it. It's rated for Beginner/Intermediate and I was actually giggling as I was doing it. It's kind of Bootcamp Light. Very light. I upped the weights and upped the number of risers Cathe used on the step, and added power moves to the cardio sections, but boy, oh boy was it light! Still, at least I did something.

Tonight I plan to tackle ME. I'm excited!

Morning - tonight was supposed to be PH, but I just got a call to sub for a lifting class on Saturday, and now my entire rotation is a mess, but the girl really needed someone - - so tonight is going to be Imax or Imax2 - have not decided yet - its been awhile since I did the first one................

My friend from Arizona is flying in to visit tonight, so we are going to be going out at 8:30PM - its going to be a super long night, and I am so excited to see her - we haven't been able to visit in person for months!!!!!!!!!! Email is just never the same!

Hi Judy.

Oh sleeping has become quite the challenge! I can sleep pretty soundly for the first couple of hours at night but after that I am constantly up tossing and turning because my hips are killing me or I'm getting up to use the bathroom. I am far from comfortable anymore. Oh well, not that much longer....I look forward to comfortable sleep no matter how short it might be! :)

Good morning ladies...

Cathy...I have felt sluggish ever since I tried to do a long run last tues. http://smilies.sofrayt.com/fsc/sad.gif[/img] For me it could be the cold my DH shared or I just need a rest day...

I'm doing PLB standing , MM shoulders, tri's and bi's and a 4 mile run...

Enjoy the workouts....:)...Carole

Good morning,

This morning I did MuscleMax. I'll be feeling it tomorrow!

Cathy - how are you feeling today? If you're still feeling sluggish, I would suggest you take a rest day. Yes, I have days where I just have no pep, but it's usually because I've had a poor sleep the night before.

Jes - what time did you write that message?

Wendy - I checked in my Yoga For Pregnancy book, and saw that they still do downward dog in the second trimester. She doesn't mention anything about stopping inverse poses, so I have to think that it can't be all that harmful? Maybe people don't recommend them because we might get too dizzy? I don't know. It seems hard to find any solid information about these things.

Dutchie - it sounds like you're having a great workout day! It's nice to shake things up a bit, isn't it? I've yet to try the GS workouts, but maybe the Upper Body Timesaver is appropriate for me. I'll check that out!

Debbie - SB and PH in the same day! That requires stamina!

Carla - I may be joining you in the house hunting business soon. I can't say I'm looking forward to the experience of dealing with realtors and lawyers.

Kristine - 30 mins on the treadmill is certainly better than nothing, especially when you have other things going on in your life. Good work!

Laurie Mac - congrats on the win!! You have broken your losing streak :)

Shelley - It's very satisfying when you can consider a Cathe workout "too easy", even after making more advanced modifications. Trust me, High Step Circuit is just great when you've just come off of 9 weeks of bedrest and are 20 weeks pregnant :) I love it that Cathe has created workouts of so many different levels and styles.

Have a great day!
Sandra

Sandra - I felt very advanced last night, and I'm hoping I never have to enjoy High Step Circuit under those particular circumstances!!!:p
