Hi ladies,
Today I pretty much walked into a new gym so to speak. Then gym owner has completely rearranged all the equipment adding new equipment, the whole works. So I had to reorient myself to the new layout.
Today was Shoulders and Legs plus the sled and floorwork.
So I started with the shoulder machine with 20 pounds on each side kind of a warmup exercise. Then only the incline leg press machine which ended up right in front of the shoulder machine so that was convenient. I did 2 sets 1st one with 1, 45 pound plate doing leg press and calf exercises then another set with 2, 45 pound plates on each side. Then I did the leg curl machine.
Then I went to the other side of the gym and did some shoulder work with 10 and 12.5 pound dumbbells. Exercises were bent arm side laterals, seated clean and press, Arnold press, shoulder press and shrugs (but using a 20 and 25 for shrugs).
I had to go back to the other side of the gym to retrieve the 12.5 pound dumbbells. Need to talk to the owner about getting more in between dumbbells.
Before all of that I was talking to one of the trainers who was trying a client out on the new multi muscle machine doing straight arm side laterals, I mentioned that I couldn't do it. Her client kept shrugging up and wasn't doing it correctly. So she asked me to try and I can't do it neither bent arm or straight on this machine. She noted that it looked I might have a shoulder impingement on the same shoulder that has the nerve damage. I mean I can do a bent arm side lateral with low weights like 10 or even 12.5 pounds.
Then after shoulders I went back to the other side to return the 12.5 dumbbells and do the sled.
I did 6, backwards strap pull, 7, push, 8, backwards strap pull and then went for 13 plates(45 pounds plates just to be clear) and managed to push it all the way. I could barely talk afterwards. Then I had to unload it all by myself.
Then I did floorwork for legs, abs and glutes with a stretch. All in all an 87 minute gym circuit.
I. Am. Beat.!!
Nice workouts ladies!!
