Goooood Morning everyone,

How's everyone? I'm really sorry that I can't keep up with all your posts right now.

After walking the doggies (Spike is back to his old self after being neutered last Monday) I had coffee and studied a bit (well, I was more daydreaming then studying ;-)).

Then I did MM-UB twice plus abs. I hadn't planned on doing legs today but I felt like my w/o was not complete so I did the L&G floor ex as well.

Tomorrow, I'll be checking out a gym. Some guy came to the door last week offering a one-month gym membership for only 15 euro's to try out this gym. I can go as often as I like as many days a week as I want to. As I was thinking about trying spinning it was perfect timing. The gym is close to home and I used to w/o there three owners ago ;-) Didn't like the new owners and what they did to the place back then, found Cathe and never went back. I'm also thinking of trying out all classes they offer now that I've paid for it. I'll also take my kids. See what's on offer for them.

Wow - MM upper body TWICE? You animal! Let us know how you like the gym.

Yesterday I did GS Chest and Tris and I'm proud to report I did ALL the push-ups on my toes:) I took longer rests between sets, but I did it! This from someone who up until about 4 years ago couldn't even do ONE push-up on her toes.

I woke up with a stuffy nose this morningx( , but still plan to do L&G, AbRipperX and a treadmill run.

I was up bright and early...L&G ankle weight section, PUB chest, back and shoulder work with sets of 50 reverse lunges between each body part (I did a total of 200!!!), then leg extensions and leg curls.

BUTT feels good. lol

Morning ladies. Today was PUB. I haven't done that one in awhile. I was going to add a little cardio on to the end, but my legs are just too fried. I'm hoping for some good DOMS tomorrow.

Sounds like today is the day to push on the weights, huh?

Shelley, how many pushups are there in that workout, anyhow? I don't have it. I always hear horror stories though!

Dutchie - how do you think MM compares to Muscle Endurance? Just trying to get a feel for what you accomplished this morning. I know it wasn't easy, since none of Cathe's workouts are.

Gayle - today is legs for me - I don't know if I can match your 200 reverse lunges though!

I suppose I'll do PLB today, since I ended up not doing it last week, as I was supposed to! Should I be brave and add extra lunges in? Maybe I'll do some walking lunges on the way down to the barn instead. I did 200 of those once... wonder if I can do it again?
 
For me, they're both equally hard. But with ME I tend to go heavier when I find things getting easy, with MM, I don't want to go to heavy (ie I use only 4KG dbs for the chest flys), I prefer to simply double the w/o. Can't give a specific reason for that. The second time it's harder, and I admit, I went down on my knees for the push ups, and my arms were trembling like mad when she did those 4-2-2 pushups the second time and I fell face first on the floor when I finished those :)

But when doubling gets easy, I'll have to up the weights, won't I?

Definitely a weight day out there. Lots of energy going around, I think.
I did LL today, second time I have done this one. KILLER! Let's just rename it THE SQUATFEST and be done with it.

Shannon - there are 72 push-ups in GS C&T. Yes, you heard right. 72. You do them in drop sets. 16, then 14, then 12, etc. When you get to 4, you do them at a two-two count, and the final set of two is done at a 4-4 count.

WOW, lots of weights happenin' today, ey?

If I work out...which as of right now, I intend to...I'll be doing SJP and 20 mins of ab work.

I'm going to pull the hi/lo out of SJP and do it separate at the beginning or the end on the rebounder and see how that works...

The ab work is supposed to be Coremax but I no longer have it so I'll just do a couple of ab sections from various work outs...

SJP has ab work too right? So I have to do SJP abs PLUS and extra 20 mins of abs? YIKES! :eek: I love Cathe!;)

Sorry about your stuffy nose, Tammy! I guess everyone here is gonna get sick now....we must be catching it via computer virus!! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!:7 :7 :7

There are some very intense wrok outs being done today! At least when I don't wat to workout I can come here and read and think if my Cathe friends can push this hard then so can I!

i did Imax2 wup & 6-10 forllowed by 4 sets of : 8 flying jacks alternated with 8 air borne straight leg jumps. These were a killer after the 6-10 intervals.

I just realized that I put my workout as PUB... obviously I meant PLB since I was talking about my legs being fried. It's one of those mornings I guess!:eek:

Katie and Shannon, I notice you have the pyramids. Would you recommend me buying the Intensity series to get these workouts?

Today was KPC, and I'm debating whether or not I should also do MM. I'm having a party tomorrow night for dd, and I have a million things to do, plus dd has a basketball game tonight, so I'm not sure if I have the time for another hour long workout, but I've neglected weights this week, and it really feels like it's time to squeeze in a weight workout.

I'm thinking of starting the November rotation next week since right now my primary goal is fat loss. Anyone have good experiences with it? I don't have the actual Intensity series nor do I have Rhythmic step, but I do have FitTv versions of those workouts to tide me over until I order them if you ladies think that's a good rotation for right now. I have the Hardcore series so I could do the Hardcore fatloss rotation instead, but that one doesn't include any of my body blast faves, and it also doesn't include as much running, which I am crazy about right now. (FYI I have Body Blast, CTX, Hardcore, LIS and Basic Step)

Thanks for any input you provide.

Hi all,

Kinda a rushed workout today but I did CTX Back minus the quarter dead lifts, then did Circuit Max the warm up and first 4 cardios only no weights for my cardio. Nice and shortish which is what I needed to day. Down another half a pound so taebo is really helping to shake things up.

Pamela, I would recommend to have the entire Intensity series to anyone and everyone! It's the best!!! The pyramids are my favorite lower and upper body workouts!

Hi everyone,

Doing a late check in today because my morning was too busy to sit down at the computer. This morning I did Cardio Kicks. I am soooo happy to be back doing my workouts at 6am!! It's such a terrific way to start the day, and then it's out of the way. My life is starting to feel back to "normal." :)

Shelley - Colour me impressed with your push ups!!! That's a feat to be proud of! Cathe should have "certificates" that you can add your name to and download, for people who can do all those push ups.

Pamela - You MUST buy the Intensity Series. All of the workouts are gems. But keep in mind that you also can just buy the Pyramid workouts, if that's all you have the money for or interest in right now. I love the Pyramids, especially the upper body workout. I'm going to check out the November rotation and see what it says. Maybe I'll join you, if you don't mind? At the very least I might be able to give you some suggestions for substitutions.
