After BC cardio I had to wash it and it turned into a bad hair day after my skate ride.

Hi all, stressful morning but I did PUB Triceps and Biceps. Not sure if I will get any cardio in today or not, but at least I did something!:D

I dont usually take a rest day when I am in Chicago. I work in a lab and I am here 12 hours a day, 7 days a week. The only way others leave me alone is when I either go to the gym and hop on the elliptical or if I am doing a tape in the lab. I get very crabby if interrupted while working out and all my coworkers at least understand this and leave me alone, but otherwise, its non-stop questions and working. I do have lighter or heavier exercise days though depending on how my body feels that day. I just have to move and do something or I feel yucky.
 
Hi Everyone!

Managed to get up and on the treadmill by 6:20. Great for me! I have managed to get up early 3 times in 4 days! I am giving myself a pat on the back. I didn't think I would make it this morning though since my 3 year old got up in the wee hours and got in bed with us (bed hog!). Want to get another workout in later but not sure what to do. Did a 20 minute run yesterday and an upper body workout (running is new to me so that is why there is only 20 min.).

Not sure what is going on with me, but I'm exhausted!. Saturday was my rest day and yesterday I did HC Extreme #1 (6 IMAX 3 intervals and 3 HSC intervals). I worked nonstop around the house yesterday, but was in bed by 9pm.

Today I did the KM Bootcamp challenge and a Core Max segment, and I feel like I can barely move! I think all that high impact is really affecting me--my knees are really screaming. Dang it sucks to get old--high impact NEVER bothered me until 2 years ago.

I'm trying to take my workouts up a notch; you guys do way more than me and I whine a lot.

Tomorrow I'll have to tone it down a bit, I'm afraid. Going to do PP, which I've had for awhile now, but never done.

Dutchie....sadly no real rest days unless I am forced...}(

Sandra...Ironman!!???...there is no way...x( although I did promise my Pastor I'd do a triathlon before I was 50. But not of Ironman status. If I don't drown in the swim I might have a chance to finish...Marathons seem to push you for a certain pace. When you do 50K's on trails, even though they are longer than a marathon, it is a much more relaxed run. I've posted before that in marathons you feel guitly when you walk and in Ultra's (50K or more) you feel guilty if you DON'T walk...:+ :7 :) ...Carole
 
Yesterday....recumbant bike 6 miles, treadmill 20 minutes

Today PUB, Core max 1 and a walk around the neighborhood this evening.

Sandra: Thanks for the update on the SS and PP - sounds like something I should invest in when I get bored with my weight workouts :) I am getting ready to order CTX next month. This month I am rotating S&H/PUB/PH during the week. I am using the Tank Top Rotation. It has you lifting your upper body 3X week, lower body 2X a week and cardio. I am a little nervous about overtraining the upper body, but its only for 6 weeks, so I will see how it goes :)

Yesterday was S&H shoulders, biceps, triceps and abs. Taibo for 30 mins, and The Firm floor work and abs. It was a great workout! My upper body is really sore today!

Tonight is cardio for 60 mins - not sure yet - jog if its nice out or Imax 2.

Hi Everyone, Sounds like everybody is doing great with their workouts. Sandra thanks for the well wishes! Today I am going to do a jog/power walk on the treadmill and pyramid upper body. I feel a bit better so I dont want to slack off anymore. I also hope to get some ab work in.

S&H triceps for me today, with the tricep band exercises from GS C&T. I never work only one part but my tris are really suffering due to my elbow irritation.... I didn't realize how much so until I did only tris - doing chest and shoulders first really left me with little strength. Ergo. I am going to have to see the doctor, I guess!

I also tried a little of the High Step Challenge, which came with my high step... it is kinda boring for a Cathe workout but a good intro to her step work, I think. I need to do some cardio later... perhaps the cardio section from Boot Camp, or maybe some kickbox combo.

Hey all! my calves are ablaze from PLB yesterday!!!! Ouch! Today i am doing PUB and abs, bu ti have learned to do abs first b/c if i wait until after UB then i can't lift my head! Calves are way to sore to do step, but i may walk on the treadmill.

Sandra: to answer your wuestin from the other day, yes i do like lowmax and most of the music on it. i typically just use the step premix though.

Hey everyone! I had quite the weekend. My DD got an ear infection and on Thursday night she screamed from midnight until 6 am with little sessions of sleep for her on my chest in between. Needless to say, after only 2 hours of sleep there was no way I was getting through a Cathe workout. So, with taking care of her all weekend I didn't get around to a workout until this morning. I hadn't worked out in 9 days (yikes!) so I decided to take it a little easy and did C&W. I think I'll slowly have to work my way back to my more challenging workouts.
