Good morning ladies. Happy Monday!

Well, I have plans to go out "with the girls" this evening, so I forced myself out of bed at 5 this morning and ran just over three miiles. Feels good to have it done. Hopefully I won't crash this afternoon:p

Hope everyone has a great day!

Gooood morning Cathy, Shelly and Wendy, and all ladies logging in later,

Shelly, enjoy your evening ;-)

CK Sales emailed me that my new HC dvd's are on their way, and to compensate me for the inconvenience, they are sending Cathe's PS on dvd with them. Now isn't that nice ;-) ;-) Can't wait to do the GS series.

Well, my intensity week is over, so this morning I did S&H Chest&Triceps, plus BC cardio premix and BC abs. If the weather holds, I'll go on on 7K skate ride with son no.2 and add on S&H legs.

My hair looked so good this morning, I actually didn't want to do any cardio. Aren't I shallow???? ;)

Enjoy another great Monday,
Dutchie:)

Hello and good morning!

Everyones workouts sound great. I am going to have to get the DVD'd of some of Cathes older tapes so I can try Aquajocks mish-moshes.

But, today is IMAX 2 and RS later followed by a good stretch.

Good morning all,

Today will be GS Biceps, PS Biceps, IM#3 intervals 1-5 and some abs.

Have a great day, in spite of it being Monday!

Good Morning Fit Women,

Yesterday I set fire to my legs. I had a hard time sitting down on the toilet! LOL! I am loving every minute of DOMS!!! That's the way to work it....as Gayle would say, "like a truck ran over you".

Today will be Garden Max with the ole' Tiller. Guess that will work my back? I am also gonna do some mish moshing for upper body. Not sure what workouts yet I will include. Probably Super Sets and Muscle Endurance.

Have a great workout everyone!

Charlotte~~

Morning Everyone,

Well was busy this weekend, even with exercising. :) Saturday I did one of A-Jock's Mish Moshes. The (almost)All Kickbox Mish-Mosh.

KPC warm up and High Intensity Drills
KM Challenge
BC Cardio Only
Cardio Kicks Power Drills

The part that was the most draining was the BC Cardio only. Those are brutal. On Sunday I did a 3 mile run.

Today will be GS Back, Shoulders, Biceps and one Segment of Coremax.

Have a great day!

Cathy....I did GS triceps yesterday....adding PUB triceps would be a killer!!

Shelley...wow...even I don't run that early. Good job..:)

Wendy...40 min on the Gazelle is NOT pathetic. And my calves are talking to me from that hill run yesterday...it was fun though...:)

Wow Dutchie!...I think you'll like PS....and I think GS is great! Your workout today still sounds intense!

Suzanne...I've been getting some of my older VHS in Newer DVD's just for that Mish Mosh reason..

Good luck on your finals Carla! Enjoy that beach vacation...yes, I am jealous...:)

I'll be doing a 3-4 mile run, coremax and another just ab workout, shoulders, back and chest from something...:)...enjoy the day ladies...:)...Carole

Shelley...I get up that early but the few times I have run that early in the dark...OMG...tripping is quite common. Why does it seem fun to confuse the animals....they will get even...}( .....:) Carole

Good morning,

Today I did Step Blast with low-impact modifications and skipped over the blasts during the challenge. It was a good cardio session, and about as advanced as I can handle right now. I love that workout. My lower body is quite tight and sore from Push Pull yesterday; on obvious indication of how much conditioning I've lost.

Reba - PP and SS are fun!! IMO, they are Cathe's most "fun" weight workouts. If you do them as produced, they probably qualify as "intermediate" workouts, compared to her others. Before becoming pregnant I only used them occaisionally, when I wanted a quick and fun total body weight workout. Now that I'm half-way through pregnancy (and unconditioned), they are ideal for me. But the dvds have a plethora of premixes on them that take them to quite an advanced level. In the premixes she has programmed various sections to repeat 2 or 3 times. If you don't mind the repitition, you can get a great strength workout from either of these workouts. I *love* the SH series, btw. They are extremely effective for creating muscle definition, especially if they are rotated with the Pyramids.

Dutchie - you cracked me up y-day with your road-bewilderment, and today with your perfect hair! That was funny! I've had great experiences with CK Sales. One year I ordered so much stuff they actually sent me a Christmas present!

Jes - two workouts is better than none! In the very least, it will prevent you from losing any conditioning.

Suzanne - that's very impressive that you can do all the cardio you do each day, given your previous back surgery. Do you ever take a "rest" day?

Anja - I'd be happy to help you with WeedMax, but, oh dear, I'm pregnant and wouldn't want to come across any buried cat "treasures". That can be very hazardous to baby, especially in the second trimester. So, I'm with you in spirit! Go Anja go!

Terri - feel better soon! And yes, I do workout when I'm sick, unless I'm vomiting/diahrea (sp?) or have a high fever. I tone down the workouts, though. The exercise usually makes me feel better and helps to clear any mucous from my chest or sinuses.

Shelley - excellent mish-mosh yesterday! And you were still able to get up and run this morning? Nice!

Carole - a 50k!! In the July heat?? Oh my! So, marathons are too short and easy for you now, huh? You'll be doing the IronMan next year, won't you? :)

Wendy - 40 minutes on the gazelle sounds like a great workout!

Tammy - GS and PS biceps in the same session would kill me. You must have some stamina!

Charlotte - I've never thought of combining SS and ME! Can you give me some details about your mish mosh? It sounds interesting!

Carla - good luck with studying for those exams. I don't miss those days one bit!

Laurie Mac - I agree with you about the BC cardio premix being brutal. Are you mortal like me, and have to pause a couple of times to reoxygenate?

I'd best go shower. A friend and I are taking our kids to a river valley park today, for a picnic lunch. I love spring!

Cheers,
Sandra

Hi Sandra, I'm pleased to hear I made someone smile:) Just came back from my skate ride and about to go upstairs and do S&H legs.

I bought this Magic Bullet two weeks ago, anyone else have problems with frozen strawberries. Jeez, no 10 second job, more like 10min job to make a shake. Ah well, all that shakin' is good for the biceps:)

Dutchie:)

Hi Carole, I already have PS on VHS, but I ordered PS on dvd. So now they send it for free, nice eh? And your workouts are always intens. Do you ever take a rest day?
Dutchie

Dutchie - what is a "skate ride"? And more importantly, does your hair still look good?;)

Sandra - yes, my legs were quite toasty yesterday after that mish-mosh, but I went for a walk with my SO later on in the afternoon and that seemed to loosen them up. I stretched a lot before running this morning, and they seem fine now.:)

Sandra, Oh I had to pause that DVD every two cycles. There are some blasts in the BC that aren't too hard, but they are then followed by a very intense one. That is when I had to pause just to get my breath. }( That mish-mosh was very good and I have to give A-jock a high five, because even though I was huffing and puffing through the BC cardio, I was having lots of fun.
