Carole...I'm sure I can still lift as usual. I must be compensating pretty well to do what I've done and have a hemoglobin of 10 but I can tell it in that I did not bounce back well at all from that run, and given the fact that the day before I had done MIS, the day before that IMAX2. I was beginning to feel it the day of the run when I just didn't feel "strong" during the run like I usually do but I attributed it to the heat.
I am going to back off intensity, for instance, I still think I can do High Step Challenge but do less sets, shorter cardio etc. I will have to play with it and see what I can do. I am doing well with this low hemoglobin I believe but I don't want to push it and decompensate and become more symptomatic. Hopefully this new med I'm on for RA will kick in soon and will alleviate this bone marrow suppression letting my hemoglobin rise.
