Daily Check In Friday 1/28

Oh yea, I preordered this morning, Kick Max so that will be nice when it comes. Also ordered another kickboxing tape off of Collage videos. It should be here next week.

Hi again Wendymin! (I always say that mentally so that it rhymes with Entemann. Mmmmmm, doughhhhhnuts!!). I completely understand your desire to skip paid work and get the house work done. There's just not enough hours in a day to do it all, plus have time for yourself.

Circuit Max is a workout typically rated as very intense by most Catheites. It's surprising how hard you work, isn't it? I never expected it. But there's so much variety in the workout that it's also fun. Yes, it's a hard one to modify, I agree. At least, the floor portion is. I always find step so easy to modify - just don't jump, keep your levers shorter, don't squat as deep, keep your arms lower. Oh yeah - if there's a way to cheat, I've figured it out :)

Cardio Kick's drills are exactly like Kickbox's, just more of them. The last drill is a punching combo, and I just love it.

Oh yes, I've been feeling tired LOL!! Whooped out, is the way to describe it. Fortunately, I work out at 5:30am, before my brain is awake enough to start complaining about anything. Seriously, when I start my workouts I literally haven't been awake long enough to figure out how I'm feeling for the day. It's a good thing! But my 5am coffee is also important to giving me a boost to get me going. I think my very consistent bedtime and wake up time also helps me stay consistent with my morning workouts.

By 10am the nausea and fatigue start to set in, and hang around until about noon. It doesn't go completely away after that, but it gets a bit better. And I am constantly hungry!!! I cannot get enough food! And my cravings are *very* specific: salty, or sweet, or rich, or whatever. Whatever I'm feeling the need for I've GOT to have it! Today's food of the day is: ketchup! That's good stuff!

Paris is home from daycare this afternoon because she's sick. Poor thing. That will be me, two days from now, as the germs get passed on. Oh, the joys of having children......

Hi, remember me?!

I have had perhaps the most brutal, busy week at work ever in my 14 years in the workforce! But now it's over!!:7 :7 :7 :7

Sunday I did Rhythmic Step for the first time, and with a hangover. I did OK with it, but the thing that got me was when she put every combination together at the end, because you can guess I had forgotten pretty much all of them except the one just completed before the blast!

The rest of the week I've been doing a CTX rotation. Today was a rest day, and I'm trying to fight a bug off again. It has really been going around, but **knock on wood** I haven't yet been sick this winter. I attribute that to 8 hours sleep most nights and good 'ol exercise supporting my immune system.

I hope to be back to feeling great this weekend--my usual 10 hours sleep on weekend nights should help! Looking forward to some longer workouts than CTX.

I'll try to start posting more again. I've missed you guys!

Foodie Sue it's really good to see you again here!!

Sandra I think I am going to have to do what you did and go to bed at 8:30 every night so I can have my energy back full blast. I am sooo sick of feeling like this. Again last night I got off the computer early, but started putzing around a little and by the time I washed my face, etc getting ready for bed it was 11pm!!!! I get up around 5:15 but because I've been going to bed late i hit the snooze until almost 1/2 hr later! I didn't work out today AGAIN because i had a few errands to run after work and by the time I got home I was sooo tired and it was dark and cold (ughh there goes that SAD thing again!) then had 2 stuffed shells and a slice of pizza for dinner...real healthyx( :-( At this rate I could star in PORKERMAX in no time at all. So I am going to bed really early tonight to get up early and workout until I drop to make up for all I didn't do this week. I am sooo disappointed in me, ughhhhx(

Any way on a more cheerful note:) , all of your workouts rock and hopefully that will give me all the motivation I need to get my bum in high gear.

Sandy: you have been having bad luck with the workout vibe!!! i'll send you some of mine cause i want to workout, i just keep getting sabotaged!!!!x( it's making me crazy!! i feel like a sumo wrestler! i hope you get some rest this weekend!!! did you order HC? have you done Allstep yet? that pizza sounds really good!!!

You fall of the wagon and you get back on. Nobody is good all the time. 2 shells and a slice of pizza doesn't sound too bad to me! Winter sucks! Get some sleep, you'll be good as new!
