Morning all!!

Wow, I can't believe I've been first the past couple of days.

Last night I felt icky, but I decided to start working out and see how it went.

Anyway, I did Body Max step and power circuit segments, and GS Legs floorwork with the stability ball and also the calf raises. Those are KILLER!!

Today is supposed to be a six mile run, back and core. It's freezing rain here, so I'm not sure about the run. Back is already done.

WOW Shelley! You did one AWESOME work out last night! I don't know if I would have survived that one! :eek: :eek: :eek: Good job girl!:+

Anywhoooo...it appears my sore throat is on it's way out which is good but I'm not gonna jump back into the rotation just yet as I'm not 100% yet soooo, on to the rebounder I go for another short "practice" session today!;)

Shelley - yes, those GS calf raises are HARD. Best darned calf workout I've ever gotten.

Wendy - sounds like you've got the right idea - take care of yourself!

Okay then.... I DID IT!!!! Last night: Imax 3 blast only + LM Blast only + BC cardio premix. I made it through the whole bloody thing. Thought I was just gonna die. One thing I did not count on was how tough those first two LM blasts would be back to back without a step interval in between. Yowza! I had to stop during BC squat thrust climbers for a sec to take care of cramps in my toes (yes, a definite sign of fatigue). Then I kept telling myself, "Cathe says you can do anything for a minute!!!"

Afterwards, I was just totally zapped. My whole body felt quivery. I've never been that exhausted after a workout.

Today, ladies, I am taking the day off!!!
 
HOLY !@#$#@! Shannon! WOW! You are one AWESOME lady! That is one work out combo that I don't think I would even DARE to try! :eek: CONGRATS on completing it! You DESERVE a rest day!:)

Wow Shannon- you did an amazing WO yeaterday. That was really challenging your self to push harder!

Wendy- I am glad to read you are feeling better. Let us know how you like the rebounder. FYI After finishing the Jan rotation my DH commented that he though my legs looked slimmer. (I had also been doing my own freestyle legs with Cathe DVD's and lotsa walking lunges in the fall)

Shelly- I wouldn't run in freezing rain either. You can always do a long Cathe cardio.

Today was IMAX#3 WU & intv'ls 7-10 + 90 sec. of squat thrust climbers as prescribed by Cathe in Feb rotaion. It was short & intense, but nothing like Shannon's intense WO.

Holy cow, Batman! Shannon, that workout yesterday sounds great, in an evil sort of way! I may have to try that. You deserve the rest today!

Shelley-good workout for you also yesterday. I hope you somehow manage to get in the miles today. Do you have a treadmill?

Wendy-Enjoy the rebounder. I bought one about a year ago and it only gets used by the boys! LOL BUT, I tried it out as well a few times and you really DO feel it in the core and the lower body (i got it especially in the calves).

Judy-How is the Feb rotation going for you?

As for me, my workout this morning:
GS Legs standing work
Kick Max leg conditioning drills
CTX shoulders
abs from CTX's All Step and Kickbox

Feels wierd to have don no cardio, since I'm addicted to it. Weather is supposed to be upper 50's here in PA, so maybe I can get Zach to ride his bike while I run with him. We'll see.

Hi again.

Just wanted to come back and say my work out is done. Yesterday I did the "first timers" rebounding w/o which is instruction on how to perform the basic moves and a very short work out (10-15 mins). Today I did the "Begginers" work out which was a 30 mins work out that included some ab work. I was sweatin' and certainly feeling it! I did better today than yesterday. With practice I think I will be able to conquer this thing and really have some fun! :+

So remember how warm it was here last weekend and I was laying out in the sun?...well this morning it was 27 degrees!!! I am hoping it'll warm a bit by 8 so I can run...:)...I also want to do some freestyle legs and some abs...

Good morning,

Yesterday I did PS Chest, Shoulders, Legs & abs. I did the floorwork in PS Legs using my 18lb barbell and since I'm already feeling it in my outer thighs, I'm sure they will be screaming by the end of today.

Shelley - I found those calf raises in GS Legs to bite more than usual, too. I even had some DOMS in my calves, which I don't usually get. Freezing rain - yuk!!

Wendy - What is a rebounder? Is that those mini-trampolines?

Shannon - wow. I am speechless that you could do all that. Just do us all a favour and don't tell Cathe, so she doesn't stick it into her next "fat loss" rotation. Oh, and the next time you do it, why don't you stick in the KM blast challenge? }(

Judy - I have no desire to do 90 seconds of squat thrust climbers. Cathe is just sadistic. I'm impressed that you did it! Great work!!

Katie - you think you're slacking?? I'm only going to do Step Jam today. That's a warm up for some of these women!

Gayle - nice workout today. No cardio, yes, but you're legs sure got used.

Carole - we had the same scenario. Beautiful mild weather last week (temps above freezing), and as of last night, -29C, with a -37C windchill. Dramatic difference. Enjoy your workout!

My workout today will be PS Triceps and Step Jam. I'm thinking of doing a brisk walk/run on the treadmill instead of SJ. Don't know. I'll have to see what I'm in the mood for later on.

Morning Ladies,

Even better weather today 57 degrees, can you believe it :p :p Thus far we have had a terrific winter. Winter’s are nothing like when I was a kid long ago way back in 1921 ha ha. I remember running up the snow hills all the way to school we had ton of snow, aw…those were the days.....


DOMS in chest & tri’s, this morning man oh man. Cathe GS workouts are masterpieces. I even pulled out Ab Hits after UB work, don’t know why I haven’t worked this DVD, I did plank work last night. I haven’t done planks in a longgg time I was truly surprised I was able to hang in there with Cathe, nice work, huh!

This morning Kick Max and tonight GS BS&B and 2 segments from Ab Hits.

quick quick post.

did a 7.5K run yesterday plus MM-legs.

Haven't done anything today, yet. Doc says I have an inflammation on the left side of my face, don't know what it's called in English, has to do with my cold. Am taking antibiotics now. Should be over soon.

Back to work.
 
Hi all, I did Cardio Kicks today with weighted gloves (took them off for the Power Drills,:+ ) and ankle weights on.

I made it through yesterday, I wore red for my mom since red was her favorite color!! Thanks for all who prayed!!:D

Hi everyone,

Sounds like you ladies have been working hard -- as usual :).

Today is supposed to be Yoga X and a 30 minute run, but I haven't done it yet. Had to take DD to the dentist for fillings this morning, and I've been out running errands all day. I just finished lunch at 2:30 so I'll probably start Yoga X in half an hour. We're taking dd to the park for extra basketball practice this evening after dh works out, so I'm going to run at the park later this evening. Since I'll have my 3 year old with me, I'm not counting on it be too much of a burner. If it's not, there's always the treadmill. :)

Hey everyone! Better late than never, huh? DH had an MRI this morning so I have been playing catch up this afternoon.

The short cardio was on the rotation this morning, but I wanted to do a Pyramid weight tape. Couldn't decide which one, so I did the Bonus Combo and the PUB ab section.

Annette, glad to see you are making out okay. I lost my Mom when I was 20, and I miss her something awful to this day. In fact, today would have been her birthday. She never lived to see me get married, have a career, or see her grandchildren, which gets hard sometimes. But I talk to her all the time, and I really "feel" that she is up there looking out for me. That is something I take great comfort in, I just wanted to pass it on to you.

Good Afternoon Fit Chicks!

Today I did the Hi/Lo for MIC and then two segments of CTX Abs. My blister is better, but still a bit tender. Hopefully I'll be able to kick it up a notch tomorrow.

Shelley: Awesome workouts!

Conni: I hope everything is okay with your DH. I haven't tried the bonus combo from the pyramids...another thing to add to my list!

Pamela: Enjoy your yoga workout.
