Hi good morning, today I will do a KPC premix to substitute Cardio P90X, chest, shoulders and triceps P90X and ab ripper P90X. Have a great Saturday everyone.

A very goooood morning to you all,

I'm in such a good mood!! I did a 5K run on my TM listening to this "running music" with a beat of a 10/min mile. Great. Incl. a 5min. w.u. and 5min c.d. it took me 42min. I really like my TM. I can control certain things much better. I'm sure I can make it teach me to run 10K/hour. I run outside too so I don't really notice a difference in effort when running on the TM or outside. I do notice though that the TM keeps me running at the same speed even at the end of my run whereas outside I increase speed for the last 1K. So I'm still learning how best to work with the TM to help me run better.

After my run I added GS-chest/triceps timesaver.

Am off to the shops now, maybe I treat myself to a new pair of jeans??

Good morning Mariangles and Dutchie,

Last evening: PowerMax

This morning: S&H Triceps
Later this afternoon: Super Sculpting and a StretchMax on schedule (super sculpting looks great for freestyle..I used to do this one a lot....lots of lunges and dips, floor work and a lesser number of squats in the lower body work sections. I also pulled my Kari Anderson Dance works tape out of retirement for the floor work. I don't like the cardio section but the floorwork has very different leg exercises that are quite tough and leave your lower body burning. It also has a good lower body stretch.

In between my workouts, lots of cleanmax and errandmax to do.

Good morning Cathy. I find myself pulling out old tapes lately too. They seem a little lame sometimes but I find too they have great leg work. Lower body burning is a GOOD THING!}(

I am going for a walk and then popping in ME as SOON as I get back. If I don't do it then, I start stuff around the house and don't do it. That's why I hate the weekends sometimes. That NEVER happens to me during the week.

Good Morning, Lovely Ladies!!

Yesterday Power Hour. Today will be a run.

Yesterday was so busy. We are trying to get ready for the hurricane that might be heading toward us. That is the cost to live on the Gulf Coast!

Today I am just going to enjoy the day. I am going to finish weeding my flower beds, pick up anything loose around the house, and try to get the laundry done. That is a never ending battle.

Charlotte- I hope today is better for you. sometimes we just have to cut our losses and move on.

Shelly- did you do BC X 2? I tried it and liked it. I found that the core segments really helped me recover from the cradio and LB blasts.

I also really like BC Cardio/LB premix X 2, however I actually find this harder than BC X 2, because there is very little chance for heart rate revoery.

Today is cardio and LB for me. My son has a marathon hockey practice on and off ice, so I will do a long walk and walking lunges outside near the ice rink.

Hi again everyone,chest, shoulders and triceps and ab ripper P90X are done. Shelley one big difference is the sequencing. Cathe generally does all of one muscle group, then moves on to the next, while Tony does (for example) a shoulder exercise, bicep exercise, tricep exercise, repeat those three, then a new shoulder exercise, new bicep, new tricep, repeat.Another difference I can think of is the counting. In P90X weight work (with some exceptions), Tony gives you a range for reps, and you go at your pace. Cathe tells you how many, and does different counts for the moves (3 up, 1 down, etc).In P90X there are also some moves that I've never seen in a home workout before.You have millions of push up variations and 1 million pull ups too.P90X has given me strength gains that I never achieved with Cathe's style of lifting (Slow&Heavy comes closest)and I have lost body fat.

Talking about the cardio that is another history.Cathe's cardio is 100 times better than anything in P90X with the exception of PLYO X.P90X is a system focused in the weight and core training.

I have to add that in the begining of my P90X journey I thought Tony Horton was silly and goofy. Now I think he is smart and fun. A man who can't makes me work like he does must be a great
instructor.

OH YEAH, OH YEAH, I DID IT, I DID IT!!!!

Wow. That wasn't as hard as I thought it was going to be. I even used the same weights second-time around, although I was fully expecting to have to go lower on the weights. I did the warm-up, then all the segments through twice, then the stretch. Now I'm riding a very lovely endorphin high, and I think I don't smell very good.:p

Mariangeles - thanks for the P90X info. It's very tempting to get it, but there are many Cathe workouts I'd like to get too. Oh, if only I had a bottomless bank account!

Tammy - you should DEFINITELY try BCX2. It was great. Next, I'll move on to doing The Viper X 2. Kidding! Well, maybe kidding:D
 
Hey Shelley, I'm doing the BCX2 Happy Dance in your honour! Oh yeah, Oh yeah! I felt the same way, 'that wasn't so bad'}(

I had myself a lovely workout this a.m. I started with cardio, BodyMax step portion followed by IMAX3 step only premix, it was a fun 45 minute routine. I worked my shoulders nicely with GS shoulders followed by PS shoulders, great burn}( I'll shower off and enjoy a day of BeachMax. I booked the week off and will take the kids to the Canadian National Exhibition in Toronto. We go every year and rendezvous avec my SIL from Niagara Falls. We don't do much of the midway but check out as many of the exhibits as we can, so much cool stuff, this year they have a DaVinci exhibit which we are looking forward to.

No formal exercise, I wiped down the walls in the new bathroom (and ceiling) to get them ready for primer so we can paint!! I also vacuumed the floor to get rid of all the drywall dust. I might be swinging a brick hammer later in an effort to continue to take down the inside chimney in our house.

Laurie - have fun at the Ex!! I took my DD last year, on the last weekend, which was a huge mistake. For starters, we should have taken the GO, but drove, and waited 40 minutes to get into the parking lot and paid $25 for parking!!! And it was supremely hot and disgusting and Sophie got whacked in the head by some kid carrying a big tray of hamburger buns. Needless to say, I'm not chomping at the bit to go this year!

Shelley - Glad to see BCx2 was so much fun! And with Cathe on the verge of making some "announcements" next week, you might be wanting to save some room on your credit card....

Wendy - I don't know if I've said this already, but your ability to do consistent workouts with a newborn at home is amazing. Hats off to you!!

I finally did ME around 1pm today. It was a long freaking hour. I felt like jello when I was done. Feeling pretty good now, just tired so I'm gonna relax and hang with the guys and just check in here.

It's not me your hat should be off to...it's my babe! :+ He's a wonderfully behaved little guy and if it weren't for that I could NEVER be as consistent as I am unless I worked out only when DH was home to watch him and I usually don't wait for that...:)
