Good Women Fit Women,

Yesterday was KPC 2x's and 25 squats with 100 pounds. I found out I can do more than I think off that smith machine. You never know until you REALLY try. KPC twice was wild! I love the music! I know the moves by heart and was having a conversation with my DD while doing the workout.

Today will be Cathe's Fiesta workout from the August Rotation. Then onto YardMax. I got weeds where I shouldn't have any. Gonna be a long day.

Hey everyone.

Saturdays are normally my rest days but since I haven't work out 6 days in a row yet I will probably NOT rest today and continue with the rotation. This means that (if I have time, anyway) I will be doing a full body weight work out, 20-30 mins cardio and abs. I am going out shopping today so if I find myself running out of time I will just grin and bear it and take my rest day today. I don't want to though....

Oh, and BTW--I got on the scale this morning (not supposed to until tuesday but I couldn't stand it anymore!) and I LOST 2 POUNDS! WHEEEEEE! I'm so happy! I know it's not much but it's the ONLY progress (in the RIGHT direction)that I have seen since the initial weight came off after delivery Joey!!! :7 ;) ;)

Gotta finish my coffee now and jump in the shower!

I did some Cleanmax yesterday, so today I just have to do a little to finish!

Yesterday I was feeling tired, so I just did the KM Bootcamp Challenge. DD didn't do it with me, as she was already in bed!

Today is MM.

I did some Cleanmax and Dustmax yesterday. Today will be Floormax....:)

I am thinking about some sort of mish mosh with Lowmax, PUB chest & Back, and some freestyle legs somewhere in there...

Good Morning Fit Ladies!

My plans for today are a 5k run and then Legs and Glutes.

Carole: Freestyle training so far is going well. I didn't buy the book. I am just winging it based on what I have read here and on the internet. High rep, low weight leg work. I decided to give it a try, because my legs have changed so much just from the running, but they are still bulky. It can't hurt!!

I have to go shopping for a birthday gift for my Dad - it's his 70th tomorrow. I am also hoping to stop at a fitness store where they recommend running shoes for you based on how you run. I also need some new inserts.

Good Saturday morning fitness folks!!

I pushmowed yesterday afternoon between 3:15 and around 5:00. I don't know what the difference was but I think the humdity was just so high and 93 degrees. Not the smartest thing I've ever done. I had to quit and get the riding mower and finish. I got too hot, way too hot. My HR went up to 165 and stayed there. I had to come in and cool off and drink some half-strength cranberry juice. I know I have to be careful and it was too hot to do that but the lure of that calorie burn is great. Burned 767 calories in 1 hour 40 minutes.

Today is circuit day so I used raking my yard as a circuit again. I was up and raking at 10 til 8 this morning and DH was helping me and fussing the whole time. I went and put on my MP3 player so I couldn't hear him. Apparently I cut the grass too short (no wonder it was so freakin' hard to push that yard yesterday!!) and created quite a mess to rake up. He was sorry he came home from the horseshow last night instead of today.;)

I burned 442 calories this morning in 1 hour and 15 minutes raking.

Today is my family reunion at the lake. I hope to get in some swim time for some extra cardio but other than that relaxing and enjoying family I don't get to see enough.

Oh BTW, the football game was wonderful last night. We killed them. I left in the third period and I think the score was 48 to nothing.

Tammy...I would think you could do Freestyle without the book with all the threads on the topic!! I haven't bulked yet. I think it would be hard to bulk with so many reps using low weight. My Physical Therapist recommended stabilty shoes for me years ago. I have had great luck with them. I hope you get some good ones too...:)...very important. Happy 70th to your Dad...:)...Carole

Started to feel better yesterday,but I still took that one last day off. So today I am off with exercising! Just now quite sure what I will do yet, but I will checkin later after I have worked out.

Good Morning all!

My bum is still really sore from Thurs workout. Just chillin' today. Probably will do BC tomorrow w/ hubby. Yay!

My mom will be here in a few hours anyway. Already got a bunch of errands done and it is only 10am here. No late starts with a toddler! Aiden is still teething like a madman so he will probably be a bit of a cuckoo nut again. Such is life ;)

Hi all, yesterday ended up being an unplanned rest day. Had my mammogram they messed up scheduling the sonogram of the nodule that they are watching(size wise it was the same and it is really nothing to worry about, but they watch it anyway) so I have to go back on Wed. for the sonogram. My dh then had a dentist appt. as soon as I returned from the mammogram. After he got back we took 2 of our 3 boys to the doctor one for an ingrown toenail (they removed the nail, ewwww!!!:eek: ) the other for a rash on his body that wouldn't go away. So they are both on antibiotics and I have to take the oldest back in 10 days to check his toe!:( :eek: He did well despite the fact that he hates pain,LOL!! Then we came home and I had to go out and get the prescriptions filled so it was a full day!!

Today I did PUB Chest and Back, abs from Body Max and the 8min. taebo. I had to get chest and back in because they were supposed to be done yesterday but that didn't happen. sigh.

Hopefully today we will get some work done on the house also!

Hi again. Carole I have not decided what I am going to do after the first round of P90X. I have to choose between a second round of P90X (after the two weeks of rest)or the August Cathe rotation.Have a great day.

Hi Everybody:) My time management skills have been coming up short this week, I've worked out every day just don't seem to be able to find the time to check in x( .

This morning I warmed up with SJP step and did the first combo, I went on to SH shoulders and then finished up the rest of SJP cardio. The laundry situation is out of hand here so between sets I did laundry, it's amazing what you can do in a minute, but I guess anyone who's ever done BC already knows this}( :)

I'm just waiting for company to arrive, better go get the toothpaste off of the bathroom mirror:p

This morning I did KPC intermediate premix, and SuperSets. I love SuperSets. That workout is such a hoot. This officially completes Cathe's July '05 rotation!! Woohoo!!

Wendy and Jane - Thank you for the very kind words yesterday!! I didn't mean to come across as feeling sorry for myself or whatever. I meant it more as a tongue-in-cheek comment. I am pretty satisfied with what I'm still able to do, at this point. I do look forward to the day that I can exercise without these 40 or so extra pounds, and the basketball in my lower abdomen, but I'm doing the best I can right now, with my current circumstances, and I feel good about that. Thank you for offering such good encouragement, though. You made my day :)

Wendy - so glad to hear the scale is finally starting to budge! Seeing genuine progress is very motivating.

Jane - that's amazing that your yardwork gives you such a workout! Have a great time at the family reunion!

Annette - I'm relieved to hear they aren't overly worried about the nodule, but are also keeping a close eye on it. That's really gross about your son's toenail!!! That must hurt like the dickens!!!
