Crazy, Strong & Loving It for 5/25

Took the day off yesterday from work and workouts because I had to take my mom in for her pre-admissions test for her next hip surgery. Appointment was at 9 and we were there until about 11:30. Then we went to Perkins and had lunch. Had a great time with her, even though we were at the doctors most of the time.

Anyways, yesterday was beautiful and I had a great weekend. Love this warm weather and it's about time. Rode my motorcycle alot this weekend.

I did total body today and on tap was Muscle Max. Had an excellent workout. I had to skip abs, though. I really need to start my workouts a bit earlier to get it all in. I'm neglecting my abs big time again.

Gotta get my ass to work. Can't wait to get on my bike!

Hi ladies. DH and I ran this morning. Going to try to get the weights done at lunch. It's supposed to be upper body with plyo. Since I ran, I will likely only do a few plyo moves (if any).

Debbie - so glad you had a good day and are enjoying the motorcycle again!

Hope everyone is doing well!!!

Good Morning,

DH and I went for a walk last night so I didn't get the wts in. Tonite if it is not raining I am going to go for a walk and then try and get the wts. done.

Hi ladies.

So after my all-out HIS workout last night, I wake up this morning to this odd tightness/pain in the back of my left heel. I was limping around the house like a little old lady this morning. It's starting to feel a little better as the day goes on.

I gotta tell ya, I have absolutely no motivation for weights lately... All I want to do is cardio or circuits. Anyone else ever get like that?

I love weight work, but for the past few days I just stand there staring at my weights like "nah, not feeling it today" and I end up popping in a cardio/circuit DVD or getting on my bike and Cardio Coach'in it. Tonight is supposed to be weight work, but I'm already leaning towards a CC workout. What's up with that?!?!

I get that tightness - plantar fasciitis. I have found that step aggravates it more than anything else. Try icing it and lots of calf stretching.

Sounds like you might need just a bit of a break from weights or try a whole new type of weight rotation? Maybe do one muscle group a day?

Thanks Heather! Plantar fasciitis....I never quite knew what it was. It makes sense because I used to get this alot a few years back when all I did was step.

It's funny you should mention a one muscle group a day type of rotation because I was looking through my DVD collection last night and thought I might try a Cross Train Express rotation. I've had the DVD set since last year, I think. That or maybe 4DS. I'll think about it while I'm on my bike tonight...:p

You are just a boat-load of help today, Heather...THANKS!! :D

Hi Girls!!

I ended up doing a premix from Supersets, all upper body, and then did High and Tight from BBL. God that burns my butt! Guess that's good! LOL!

It is so HOT out today, supposed to reach 90-ish. I thought about a run. But I didn't want to go out when it was the hottest out. Maybe I'll try to get out first thing tomorrow AM, before it gets hot again.

Debbie: Sounds like you had a nice day with your mom yesterday, in spite of it being at the doctors. Great job on MM today!! that is a tough one! I'm feeling kind of lazy about my abs lately.

Heather: Nice job on the run and hope upper body weights goes well at lunch! What plyo stuff were you going to do? From STS or just random plyo moves?

Roxie: Nice that you got to walk with your DH! Hope you get to fit in weights today!

Melissa: Hope the heel is all better! Did you get a zing of pain first thing stepping on it this morning? I think that is a classic symptom of Plantar Fascitis. CTX is a good idea or 4DS. I did do one body part a day for a week, a few months ago. I had NEVER worked out like that before. It was VERY cool and different and I enjoyed it. It's not like CTX or 4DS, it's literally ONE body part a day. I think there's a few rotations like that from Cathe and Debbie, because I was checking them out at one point.

*waves* to Jessica and Nora!! Can't wait to hear what you guys are doing today!

Melissa - glad I could be of some help today!!! Have fun contemplating weights as you ride ;)

Chris - If I have time, I have done some of the HIIT workouts for plyo or sometimes I'll do what I did today and just do random plyo stuff. My legs are fairly tired from hill repeats Sun, legs yesterday, run today. So I took the easier route today (sort of).

Roxie - I hope you get to enjoy a walk this evening!

:cool:Hi girls:)

I'm still having spotty internet coverage so I'll try to be back for personals later, but will check in now.

Here's today's workout:

Insanity- Plyo Cardio Circuit I substituted for Max Interval Plyo today. My knees just didn't feel up to it. MS Fatigue is really kicking my butt hard yesterday and today.

So I did
Insanity- Plyo Cardio Circuit= 40 Min
Calories burned= 601

Cardio & Wts Premix- Time Saver Compound and Heavy Weights=36 Min
Calories burned= 319

Total calories burned= 920;)

Ok, that's it for today's workout for me. My knees are so sore I'll ice them and hope I'll be able to workout tomorrow. I'll try to come back for personals. Have a great day girls!;)

Hugs!:)

Nora
