Core Secrets

Has anyone here used some of the Core Secrets workouts? I've been looking at a couple of them because I love using the stability ball. I'm also interested in suggestions for pilates using the ball. I still love my Cathe workouts though.
 
I have a few of the Core Secrets DVD's, but I am not impressed. For a Beg. maybe, but I didn't not feel very challenged. I'm not saying the DVD's are bad, I just think there are alot of better DVD's out there. Try going to www.collagevideo.com. They have tons of DVDs and ratings. That might be another source of info for you. By the way....do you want a full body workout on the ball or just abs? Cathe's Coremax is great. Segment #2 and #3 utilize the stability ball.

I use some of their exercises, and I've found that if you slow down the pace about 300%, they work better. He does the exercises way too fast. The ab and lower body ones are the best.

from the previews i saw i wasn't excited about it. i wish i could find some longer previews and that may or may not change my mind.

the only videos i tried pilates-wise with stability ball is on the ball pilates with lizabeth garcia that is pretty good. its not to long though but just enough for a burn. i also have bodywisdommedia's pilates sculpt and tone. i haven't done the stability ball segments yet,but it offers pilates segments by equipment(ring,ball,weights,mat,mini ball) and body part(glutes,back,abs,legs,and arms). besides that core max has two stability ball workouts on it plus the all the premixes do as well. a very good dvd IMO. i believe winsor has ball workouts and yoga zone made a pilates video or two with the stability ball

I borrowed it from a co-worker and didn't even complete an entire workout. I didn't care for it. I agree that he goes WAY to fast and it made the workout feel a little out of control, which to me made it seem like it could be easy to injur yourself. There seemed a lack of form when trying to do it at that speed.
