Just getting us started. I was going to get up early and do S & H Chest/back but didn't happen. Will do it after work instead. I'm finding it harder to come home from work and workout, it's dark and cool out, sure makes me want to hibernate, come home eat and watch tv.

Jeanette What did you substitute with this morning?? How come you have a 3 day weekend this week? We're going to the cottage for the first time since beginning of August so hopefully the weather is decent. No hangers for ds ;) I know itching is often a problem for people with casts but he's never really complained about that.

Wendy What long days you are having! Hope your doing okay.

Morning,
Today was Pyramid Upper Body, Up only premix. My arms were burning. Tonite will be a bike ride. I'm trying to ride twice a week (including the Sunday ride) and golf/practice 3 times. Need more days in the week, but not work days LOL!

Kim, I only work out in the morning because we have just one TV and DH likes to watch it in the evening. While he was gone hunting, I did enjoy working out in the evening. Of course, I was on vacation too so it wasn't like I had worked all day. Yep, daylight getting less and less and cooler. Sigh. I do love the fall days though. The 3 day weekend coming has Columbus day on Monday. DH has never before had that holiday off. Private industry usually doesn't celebrate it. I thought I had Step Works this morning, but realized I needed to skip to the upper body weight workout day. My arms were cooked from the weight work so I didn't even attempt the pikes. Those are so difficult at the end of that workout. Glad your DS didn't get the itchies. Is your DH still running? Can't remember if your DS still has the paper route. Hope you don't have to tackle that during the wintertime. I remember all the times you helped with it.

Hi Kim and Jeanette! I hope Laurie's boss is letting her play today.

I didn't get home till after 11:00 last night. Chatted with Patti after my massage. She made me a smoothie from The Truth About Beauty by Kat James. It was pretty good, although a bit peppery on my scratchy throat.

She joked about not leaving me that tight and what the heck did I do to myself!!! Normally, Patti just works on the glutes and sacrum. Well, she started working on the attachment areas because of this back pain wasn't going away. In the past, I think she was thinking it was the psoas causing my back pain??? I don't know. When she got to my ishial tuberosity (sit bone), she could feel alot of adhesion. She started working towards the public turbercle near the pubic symphysis (Debra's favorite word). But, it wasn't invasive. She was pressing on the bone away from the intimate area and didn't go that far up. That's Phil's job.:D:D:D Anyhow, she's starts getting this perplexed tone in her voice. She compares it to my other side and notices a difference. I forget the term she used to describe it... something that dogs get!?!?!?!:confused::cool::D:confused: My laughter drowned out the rest of her explanation. Anyway, she says that it feels like that my left hip is turned out. It would explain why my gluteus medius, piriformis and lower back are tight. If I were to guess why my hip is out of sorts, I'd have to say it was from sitting and sleeping on HARD surfaces while in Thailand. I'm calling a chiropractor today about aligning my hip joint. Hopefully, this will solve my sacrum bubble wrap issues.

I'll be back in a bit for personals. I need to start homeschooling the girls.

Sorry to be MIA! Just so busy at work, and my girls have been on the computer at home. The oldest was chatting on facebook with her friends, and youngest jumped on to play on Webkins! :rolleyes: Don't they know that I need to chat with friends too! LOL:rolleyes:

Anyway todays workout was BBS Timesaver #5 which is the Leg/Ab workout for that series. Will see if I have enough energy to do the 5 miles of speedwork that I had on my rotation. The leg workout was a catch up from Sunday! :D

Found a dress for the wedding we will be attending next weekend. Hope it doesn't get to cold in Chicago! :)

Wendy, See the boss has given me permission to play today! He is going golfing tomorrow and friday, so I will be able to chat again! :) Sorry to hear that you are not aligned properly!

Jeanette, LOL about having more days in the week, but not for work! I hear ya on that one. LOL! :D

Kim, So is that what is wrong with me, I have started to hibernate! LOL! Eating, snuggling up in my blanket and watching TV. Yep that is me!

Laurie... Again I ask, what is BBS? My mind can't think of what it is. I know when you tell me, I'll feel stupid. So, tell me already!!!:D Eldest dd loves playing on Webkins. She's so jealous of Debra's points too!!!:D Hopefully, Debra and Traci will blow some of their warm weather up towards you. I'll chip in and blow some of my hot air too.;)

Jeanette... There's never enough time to do what we want, huh. :( I'm sorry your friend's brother has cancer. WTG talking some sense into the Captain about camping!!! I miss you when you go living off the land with your generator!!!!;)

Kim... My chiro asked if I was a runner cuz my IT band is tight. Funny thing is that it doesn't feel tight. :confused: I'm amazed at people (Jeanette, Laurie) who can workout first thing in the morning. I need to talk myself into doing it. Some days that doesn't happen till midnight.:D How cute that your ds did some KPC drills with you!:) He'll be kicking in no time!!!!

Oh! I went to see the chiropractor today. He adjusted my hip and lumbar spine. Hopefully, everything is aligned and stays that way!!!!

Wendy, BBS is the Body Blast Series. Cathe created a DVD called Timesaver, and it is pretty close to CTX.
 
Yep! Laurie, I feel stupid now.:D For some reason, I wasn't thinking of Cathe's dvds. I was thinking along the lines of Barry's Bootcamp.:eek:

Good evening,
After work today, I had some shopping to do, gas my car, then came home and hopped on my bike. I did Cardio Coach #1. Nice little workout. A feel good workout. That Sean is sure motivating to me. I made it without any flat tires too. The goatheads are out on the roads now.

Wendy, don't feel bad, I was thinking BBS was a Barry's Bootcamp workout too. I'm pretty pleased that DH saw the light in not going camping this weekend. DS is coming up, with his GF and he will be helping DH cut wood. The GF and I may do a bike ride to Starbuck's or go shopping or something. Perfect! I also have a birthday party for other DS to get ready for. DD will be bringing lasagne for dinner and I will be doing a couple of desserts. Probably will make those on Friday night. How does the chiropractic adjustment feel? Hope you are feeling better. My sore hip seems to have gone away.

Laurie, glad to see you back on here. What is your new dress like? Bet it will look great on you. Why is work so busy for you? My boss is on vacation this week so everyone is more relaxed for sure.
