Cooking squash?

I bought an acorn squash at the store today, to eat with dinner tomorrow. Normally I bake it in halves or roast it in chunks. I am fixing Filet Mignon on the grill tomorrow night and am wondering if I can grill squash. Anybody done this? Maybe cut it in rings or moons and brush w/ olive oil and grill? Dunno....

Sounds good to me. I grill summer squash all the time. I'd think acorn squash would hold up even better. Maybe check out some recipe sites like allrecipes.com or eating well?

I grill and/or bake squash all the time. I brush with a bit of EVOO, lightly salt and pepper and cook away. We eat zucchini, onions, red and bell peppers and fresh broccoli this way as well!

You bet also you can grill fruit like pineapple and peaches if they are firm.
