BTW, I talked to Lori on FB. She is not feeling well .She is hoping to make it a part of her routine again once she start working out and feeling better. I sending her speedy recovery vibes:)

Good Morning Ladies

Ok...for real....I'm starting STS. I printed out all the stinkin' work cards, so I'm committed now! I really need to build some muscle again, here. This is really getting ridiculous. I haven't gained weight (thank god) I'm pretty sure because of all the heavy lifting and lugging and up and down stairs from moving....but I'm gettin' kinda soft.....:confused: Damn I kinda miss going to the gym! It's hard to do functional or booty pow or any Cathy Savage workouts without the gym!

So, that one bartending job was filled. :mad: I have a feeling someone knew someone, and the ad was put out there in case THAT fell through. It's just one of "those" jobs. Seriously, the dream bartending job. Ugh. Oh well...onto the next! I'm going to an open interview at Wild Wings today. Then to my apartment to finish cleaning and have the walk through. Then for an oil change/grocery shopping. Then food prep. I'm almost to the point I just want ANY job, and it ain't even about money now! It's about ROUTINE. lol.

And listen, was that not the July 11' rotation?? Was that the July 10' rotation that was posted??? Oops!! lol

So I tried to start the FAFSA process.........and thanks to DC, I can't yet...:mad::mad::mad:. It's nothing I should really get into online....but this whole 'leaving the gym' thing could get ugly. I swear, I feel like I"m going through a divorce.

Belinda- Have a great workout! Thank for telling us about Lori!! I should really message her.........

Helene- How long is that CLX rotation?? Maybe a visit this weekend??

Trish- A gold star for you for checking in! :eek: lol. No, I'm not at the gym anymore.......:( Been pretty beat up about it, but trying not to look back. It had to be done.

Kristin- Well, there you go. Do lots of research, get names, talk to people who've done it...etc etc. People have asked me too why I'm not auditioning again for Cathe....and I'm with you, not a big spinning fan! A dream would be to be in a step video!

Melissa- Enjoy your nice long weekend!!! Any big plans?? So, last night I was in the middle of reading your post, and my facebook popped up on my phone, letting me know that DI added me as a friend...:eek: It was kind of out of nowhere!! LOL. I hadn't heard anything up until that point. I hope you get things straightened out at the hospital! Dang.....

Cookie- Ohhh yes....have noticed huge improvements in posture over the last couple of years! Also something I focus a lot on with clients. How's the band?? Any relief?? And you're welcome. :) If it doesn't get any better in a couple of weeks, definitely go see someone. Any inflammation?

Deb- Doms in your back? What kind of exercises do you do while spinning? I think the lines of communication are open with DI now..... And yes, cooking my own meals at my parents (for the most part). It gets a little crazy in the kitchen, but we'll figure it out! lol

Iris: We're here this weekend. Come play. CLX is 3 months, but I might do it in 2 1/2 because I am taking out one of the rest days per week. I am loving how short the workouts are. I can't get up in the morning lately and no matter how late I get up I can always fit in 30minutes. It made me get out of the workout funk I had gone back in. I'm having too many of those lately (no wonder my weight was creeping back up :mad:) So I'm having fun. And it's different from Cathe weights so I think the change is good for my body and my mind. I'm going through Cathe step withdrawal though, so I'll have to add some back in. :D

Hi to everyone else, I'll try and BBL tonight but for sure this weekend. :rolleyes:

Did circuit burn 3 this morning. For a lot of the exercises I added my Cathe vest. Boy did that kick it up a notch :eek:

Afternoon everyone,

No wo today. Was up way too late doing work from home and only managed 4 hours of sleep. I'm pooped:confused: Will probably do D21 back and biceps tomorrow morning though.

Belinda - LOVE STS TB!!! That and HR are currently in my top 5 faves:cool: Nice job today! Bummer about Lori. I hope it just the usual morning sickness and passes after the first trimester.

Iris - LOL @ you and the stinkin' workout cards! ^5 on not gaining any weight, but I know it is frustrating to lose muscle:confused: I'm sure something good is just around the corner in the employment area. I'm guessing DC is a part of the reason you're not at the gym anymore?? That sucks. Are you able to train your clients at their home or elsewhere?

Helene - Wow, I can only imagine the vest DID kick things up a notch;) Nice wo! Any big plans for the holiday weekend? I imagine six flags will be mobbed on Sunday.

Kristin - I love M2 but I think I am wearing it out now. LOL! Between STS TB and HR, I like HR best - both are awesome and very effective, but the music in HR really gets me going. I actually listen to the video during my commute most days (I am planning to buy a couple of the songs one of these days). I'm an oddball, but I LOVE IT!

Melissa - Nice on the long weekend! So, what are you doing with all that free time?? No full STS rotation, just M2 squashed down into 2-3 weeks (originally planned to do 6 weight wos each week, but I've taken a few too many rest days:rolleyes:)

Cookie - Missed you, too (((HUGS))):eek: I wish I were a little bit better at juggling. Never feel like I'm getting all done that needs to be done. Btw, is your houseguest still with you? Is she coming to RT?

Deb - Thanks for the spin advice. Have they posted a description of what the tryout will be like? Are we spinning for an hour or 10 mins? I imagine they would want to know our endurance...looking forward to it either way.:)

Evening ladies! Today was Muscle Max. I wanted to do the legs section 2x but for some reason this workout kicked my butt today. At one point I thought I was gonna puke cuz it was so hard :confused: Not sure what that was about!

I was supposed to work Sunday but they canceled my event. I was not happy. I'm really considering getting another job. I can't deal with the uncertainty in hours every week and canceling crap at the last minute. Blah. I will probably start looking next week for something PT.

Cookie, I noticed posture improvement with weight training too! Probably because it strengthens your back muscles, at least that's my guess ;)

Deb, you have back DOMS from spin? Cool! Oooh I didn't know it was just for the Disney RT! Makes sense now. I was getting worried lol.

Belinda, nice WO today! That stinks about Lori :( Poor thing. Thanks for keeping us posted! I will drop her a line.

Iris, sorry to hear about the bartending job :mad: Their loss! LOL @ needing a routine...I hear ya girl! Woooow DC is a jerk! What an ahole!!!! He needs to really get a grip and grow up already, geesh! Actually, we have some plans this weekend: tomorrow is the beach (yay!), Saturday I have a tasting then a bbq for my friend's bday, Sunday is a party/fireworks @ my parents' boat, and Monday is a recoop day lol. Should be fun! What about you, any 4th of July fireworks w/ DI??? ;)

Trish, that sucks about getting no sleep :( Hopefully you will catch up! Maybe I should get STS TB/HR...too many videos to keep up with! LMAO @ you listening to the music! Now I def have to get it...once my finances are straightened out from Vegas :eek: Also got my fall semester bill in the mail so I probably won't be buying anything anytime soon.

Helene, wait you're doing CLX too? Were you doing S90 before or am I making that up? I'm so confused!
 
Evening all. .. Today ended up being a rest day for two reasons. 1. Went to the beach with my boys and I am wiped out. The sea air does knock you out boy. We had a blast though. They are so cute. I got them sand buckets and shovels from Target and they played all day. They should go down quick tonight! and 2. I have major DOMS in my legs from my workout yesterday. Seriously, this morning when I went to sit on the toilet I was half awake until I felt the soreness and then I was fully awake. I haven't had leg DOMS like this in soooo long. So tomorrow will be a quick cardio (thinking something from 4 DS) and then D15.

Iris- I would love to try out for a step video too. I wonder though. . . DO I look good doing step? LOL. I don't have any mirrors in my workout area, lol. I could think I was good and then totally stink, like those people who try out for American Idol and seem to have no clue that actually they CANNOT sing and they SHOULD NOT sing, lol. I don't know if you mentioned it before, but what are you going to study? Everything will fall in place, just give it time.

Melissa- Jones beach is great. I went to Smith Point today. It is out east and closer to where I live, but the people there. . . not everyone but a lot of people there tend to be trashy. I picked a spot away from the crowd, because a lot of people just are loud and curse and are tattooed up the ying yang. I am not against tattoos, just not into the whole combo of smoking, tattoos and cursing around my kids. . . and I curse, I am not some saintly oh fudge kind of girl, but it is over the top every five seconds cursing. Cannot have that with my little guys, lol. We had a good time though, away from the crowd ;)

Trish- I know what you mean about songs. There is a song from SM, I think it is in the second combo, that I love. . . Don't know the title though. . . when I have time I will have to research it. I would love to have it on my ipod, lol. M2 is my favorite. M1 is good, but I like how there are less reps, more weight and enough time to change weights/rest in between sets.

Helene- sometimes doing the shorter workouts to keep you motivated is the way to go. I sometimes plan all 60 and more minute workouts and by day four or five I feel burnt out.

Belinda- nice workout again. Making me feel the need to buy, lol. Tell Lori to feel better, hopefully this first trimester will fly by.

Cookie- I find my posture improved after I started lifting heavier with 4 DS. Weights are magic for women I think. I try to explain this to my friends. A lot of my Whenever they ask me what I did to get into shape, I tell them weights are our friends, lol.

Let me clear this up not sore from spin:) 2 days ago did S90 back & chest and that made me sore;) Today I did 30 min on the ellipitical, I mixed last challenges from a couple of CC's it was a nice change.

Belinda - I'm hoping the new workouts will be as good as TB & HR.

Lori - I'm happy Belinda was in touch with you, I hope the sickness goes by quickly for you:(

Iris - Ugh, on DC still bothering you:mad: Busy day for you today, once you get in a routine, you'll feel better and wishing you luck with the job hunt.

Helene - I've been having trouble getting up in the mornings too and end up running around like a chicken w/o a head.

Trish - Your on a roll:D I'm surprised they haven't mentioned what is involved with the spin tryouts, maybe we'll hear feedback from the Disney RTers.

Melissa - You have a busy weekend, so excited that it's Friday tomorrow:)

Kristin - Must have been a beautiful day at the beach today . . . not too hot:) I used to go to Jones Beach when we lived in NY (once we could drive) but before that we went to Rockaway Beach by subway.

Cookie - I thought I saw your post today:confused: must be time for bed . . . seeing things:)

Amelia - Any time off this weekend?
