Good Morning Ladies:)

How is everyone? I didn't get enough sleep but I feel good. Of course, I had to stay up and watch the biggest loser! Past my bedtime! What a show though! Some crazy transformations in just a few short weeks! Holy Moly! And Ali...112 lbs?:eek: I wonder how tall she is? She looked so good!

Anyway, Im not to impressed with myself though. I have been eating good but the scale is just not budging! I use to be able to eat sensible and the scale would drop like 2-4 lbs in days, I guess cause it was always water weight. Now the scale seems to be stuck at 126.It won't move. I felt good when I got up but took my measurements and am up again in the waist and hips! Its very fustrating! If DH and I had decided not to put anything else on the cc's I think I would be signing back up for ww's online! I could probably follow it myself I guess. This is just going to make work very uncomfortable today b/c I KNOW my pants are going to be tight around my waist! Ugh! Soooo ticked!

Yesterday I ended up packing DS up and we went for a run outside. At first it was a little windy but according to my route, I should have only had to face the wind during the beginning of my run and at the end. Not the case! About 50 mins into my run the wind was in every direction and there was no escaping it. So I ran to DH's work and he took me home...lol...55 mins was good enough anyway.

So todays workout is going to be a 3 mile run/4DSBC/and 4DSKB..I think...unless I decide to ditch something and do abs instead.

Good job on the workouts yesterday ladies! The thread as been a little quiet lately...whats going on I wonder?

I will return when I get to work!

Morning Ladies!!!

Sorry I have not been able to check in the past few days. I've been very busy making final decisions on what grad school I will attend. I've also been dealing with the ol' knee as well. After dealing with some major pain on Sunday, I decided it was time to go back to the doctor. I saw a different doctor on Monday and he confirmed that I have tendonitis. So no running or anything with impact for six weeks. He prescribed me some prescription strength aleve and told me to start riding the stationary bike. He said that would help strengthen the muscles around my knee...plus help me get my cardio in (since i've been very upset that i haven't been able to do much cardio). He also suggested a few other exercises (leg press, etc.) So yesterday I went walking with a coworker at lunch and after work I tried out stationary biking at the gym. Today my knee feels pretty good!!! So I'm excited about that. I didn't like what I saw on the scale at the doctor's office (it had gone up)...so I am very excited to have another option for cardio. I'm also back on a eating healthy kick.

Unfortunately I won't be able to run in the 10K I'm scheduled for in May...but he told me that walking would be fine...so I might just do that since I already paid the entrance fee and what not. Walking won't be as much fun...but oh well. I'm going to be so happy when this is all said and done!

Lori-126?? That is odd? It can't be fat though because you said yourself,youve been eating good and your workouts are just amazing!! I feel ya,i don't even care about weighing anymore and will ONLY wi once a week,and may reduce it to once a month. Ive come to the conclusion the that the scale just isn't doing me any justice anymore so why torture myself? If My jeans are still loose even if the scale isn't budging. Don't let that darn scale ruin your day,k! you know you look good girl;-):)

I wonder what happened to Sara and Shannon? And come to think of it Carrie? I know that Stacey has surgery on the 18th,i wish her well with that and hope she pops in the let us know how it goes(hint,hint;-))

so,todays workout is gs legs and i may have to sqeeze in a cardio after my little 'Why do i have to go to bed hungry tantrum last night' that started as a turkey sandwich but ended in a three course meal and it was LATE too . This eating thing sure is hard. Oh well,no use dwelling over it;-) back to it today:)

Im getting that BFFM book in a week and a half so maybe it will give the advice i need to shed this last bit of weight! I noticed last night that my legs seem to be to bulky? Yeah,they still have some fat on them but the back are just very big muscles,i don't like that! Maybe all this walking im doing will lean them out:) I love my TM;-)I could just give it hugs and kisses everyday:eek:

Oh and i forgot to mention that my cover letter and my resume is DONE and im sending them off today:7 whoohoo,i may be working in a couple of weeks,im excited...a little nervous but excited!:)

ETA-Hey Sara,i just thinking about you! Im glad to hear your feeling better about doing cardio agian! Injuries are so frustrating. so,your doc said that riding a bike will strengthen the muscles around the knee? Man i wish i had some room for one:+. Im sending you some healing vibes to your knee and some hugs:) good news and don't worry about the scale it will go back down agian:)
 
Sara** Thats awesome news that you can ride your bike! Sucks that you can't run the 10K but we need out knees and have to be kind to them. Im pretty sure that by the time I am 60 I will be hobbling around. But like I said before..hey, atleast I looked good in my earlier yrs!;)

Ameila** Yep, you read right! 117 in Jan, 121 4 weeks ago and since last week 126! What is up with that???? Now, yesterday morning the scale was 125, so maybe its the salty chicken I ate yesterday? I would like my goal weight to be 120 and that shouldn't be hard to get to. But now I am kind of wondering if my body isn't returning back to normal (128-130) and right now I am just fighting with it? Who knows? But knowing that I can be at 117 is whats driving me nuts. The last time I was 118 was when I was in high school and I never aimed for that again b.c I didn't think it was possible. Now that I have been there...i want to get there again. Ha...Ill just keep doing what Im doing. Whatever happens, happens...atleast I tried. But in saying this, I think my shape as changed since having DS b/c I still fit into jeans that I wouldn't have fit into before having him.
I think everyone wants to have long lean legs but thats not gonna happen in my neck of the woods either. DId you see Ali's legs last night? Her calve muscles are pretty big. I don't even care how big my calves are anymore, I just think about what they do for me.

So todays workout ended up being 3 miles in 28 mins and 4DSBC and abs. I was thinking that I could go for a small run outside tonight with the dogs but DH as hockey early so I guess I will be just staying in and hanging out!

Well,Debbie(Fitnessfreak)just confirmed it all for me. Im buying burn the fat,feed the muscle as soon as im able to afford it(gotta download it AND print x() BUT if it helps me figure out my complex body then im willing to pay three times the amount for it;-)

Its my eating that has been driving nuts lately,i don't think im eating the right combinations of food so thats why i keep binging/cheating...im not giving my body what it needs to lose weight so it keeps having all these crazy cravings. Anyway,until i get the book i will eat clean and continue with debbie's rotation.

The most important thing is that i KEEP GOING

Lori-good job on your workout...3miles in 28mins is AWESOME! Man,it took me twice as long yesterday to do 4miles. I hear ya on the calve muscles,as long as their working...im good!

Hey to everybody,im still trying to wake up before i start my workout and i have a cold coming onx( itchy throat and sinus flairingx(x(. But it won't stop me}(

Hi girls,

Just a quick check in! Sorry, I don't have a lot of time to chat! Still NO workout! I am so sick of cleaning and tossing, that is all I have been doing since Saturday! I am throwing so much crap out; thank goodness my DH is not stopping me. LOL! I just did it 10 month ago, what happened? Everything I haven’t used in a year or so is going! No more maybe I can use it later!

Off to more cleaning! Awww…..
