I'm up with you, Belinda! Of course, I'm working, so I get paid to stay up!

Today (actually Friday) was MuscleMax. It hurt so good!!! I've been incorporating Turbo Jam into my workouts as well and have enjoyed them, much to my surprise! It took me quite a while to appreciate them, but they really work you hard! I haven't decided what my workout tonight will be, but something cardio.....
 
Good Morning Ladies! I'm up early because DH and I have plans to go to some horse races today. I'm getting ready to do GS shoulders, chest, and biceps...woop woop!!! Still going easy on cardio...biked on Thursday night and walked yesterday. Still sucks...but my knee is starting to feel better. I ran into a friend yesterday who used to be the most avid runner I know...but she looked very different. Evidently she got a stress fracture in her foot last year and it still has not healed fully so she can no longer run. I felt so bad for her because I know she loves running so much. She looked like a totally different person though (she has gained quite a bit of weight and dyed her once blond hair brown). This is going to probably sound bad...but seeing her made me realize that I'm very lucky to only be dealing with tendonitis and not a stress fracture. I can't imagine going over a year without running. She says she's tried swimming and that when she does it regulary she loses a lot of her extra weight..but that she doesn't love swimming like she loves running. It broke my heart :-( Lori, I know you are a big runner too...please please please be careful out there!

Welcome all the new ladies to our forum! I'm excited to get to know all of you and hello to all the regulars!!! I better get going...I need to start that workout!

Good Morning Gals!!!

How is everyone? I didn't go to bed super early last night but I did take a nap on the couch between 7:30-8:30, then I slept in till 8:30 and everyone else is still asleep! Oops...I guess not anymore cause I hear DH's cell phone ringing!

Anyway, I feel rested and I think today will be a busy day. DS as a b-day party at 11, then we have to drive 30 mins to pick DD up,by the time we get home it will be well after lunch time, and hopefully I will workout then. I also think that my MIL plans on doing something for my FILs b-day today, so I guess we will be eating dinner with them. Im not 100% what todays workout will be. Probably a circuit, or a full body workout and cardio. Its to cold to run outside today.

Belinda** You must be soooo tired in the evenings or do you take a nap? DH made it home safe and sound? How many yrs does he have left in the military before he can retire?

Amy** Welcome! Nice to see you again! I knew the name looked familiar as soon as I saw it!

Sara** Have fun today! Im confused? Is your friends problem a result of an accident or something? I don't have any injuries and really we can get them all with anything we do, right? If your friend was an avid runner, thats probably all she did...everyday...like a friend of mine but I don't run everyday. If I did, my knees would act up before anything else.

Ameila** Did we convince you to stay???? Yippeeee!!!! I usually only check in first thing in the morning, and right after my workout. Just report in if you don't have time for personnals.

Cheryl** How was your trip? When are you restarting your diet??? LOL Today?:+

So I have great news on the scale front today. It must have been up b/c TTOM was comming. Ive magically dropped 2 lbs over night and what a difference! My belly is flat again and all that pesky bloating is gone:) 123.8 today:) I guess eating good all week paid off in the end after all.

K, I have to get my butt in gear. only 2 hours before the bday party!

Todys workout is cardio, im thinking a hour of powerwalking or maybe a thirty minute run interval with a 45min powerwalk,so that would be a total of 75min:). And I must do abbs todayx(

Lori** my DH if he wants to can stay 35 years! He got 26 years in military, we are shooting for 30 years! My DH loves the Army, but I am tired after 26 years! I am tired of moving! I feel like I constanly pack and unpack my stuff! Congrats on the scale!

Hey gals!! I got back from NY/DC Wed night - Lori, yes, I re-started my diet today, LOL! I haven't had the courage to weigh yet. I'll do that on Monday a.m. I'm afraid to face the damage, but at least I'm back home and back on track.

Step Works today, plus abs.

Amy, I thought about you with every step of StepWorks. It reminded me of that giant step class last summer in NJ. Can I just say I'm getting my hopes up BIG TIME that all works out for RT??

Belinda, how’s the decluttering going? I don’t know about you, but I always feel so good when I’m doing it – it’s very liberating.
Amelia, glad my joining didn’t scare you of!
Sara, that’s sad about your friend. Hope she can learn to enjoy the swimming, especially since that’s a sport she should be able to do for life. I like the GS workouts also.
Amy and Cheryl, am I correct in guessing you both went last summer on the Road Trip?
Kristine, I did Body Max 2 yesterday. Love that workout!
Today I did Absolute Kickboxing by Kimberly Spreen. Has anyone else tried it? It a lot of fun, but not as intense on the lower body as Cathe’s kickbox are, which I why I wanted to do it today. Tomorrow I have a long run planned. With this workout you use a weighted bar, and I wore weighted gloves to make it a little more intense. Her directions are really clear, which I appreciate. I usually just do Cathe, but occasionally squeeze this one in. Dinner with my son and his girlfriend went well.
