Good morning ladies,

I am done with my workout!:) I did iTread 13! I love that workout! I haven't done a iTread in awhile!

I need to stretch! BBL!
Belinda

Oh Belinda......its not the 24th anymore:) Its the 25th;) LOL

My workout yesterday was a good one. I ran 13.1 miles (HM) in 2h,5m,and 22sec. No ache knees...noth'in:) I wasn't even overly hungry last night when I finished either, usually I am starving.

Todays workout is going to be a circuit. Im thinking about doing BM2, no running today at all.But before I can do that , I need to get home and get some shut eye:)

I will check in after I pick up DS and get a coffee:)
Lori:)

RE: Commit to get fit and lean for Tuesday Mar 25h 2008

Oh, Lori, my DH was home yesterday, I got comfused! It felt like Monday to me, sorry girls! Awesome job on your run yesterday! Enjoy BM2 and run today!

Belinda

Hey Hommies;-)

Todays workout is a cardio, have no idea which one!?!?

Belinda-Great job with Itread13 I have that one and I never use it? maybe I will do that one today. Oh nevermind,im trying to ease my way back into running right now. Maybe I will do imax2...if my ankle allows!

Lori-Ive noticed alot of the Cheetah gals have little nicknames....whats your? I think its cute! Im in  over your workout yesterday...your on fire girl, high fives!

Cheryl-Did you get firm it up in last night? How long did you run on the TM yesterday? Ive been powerwalking instead of running lately,it seems that when I push myself with my workouts i tend to fall apart at the end of the day and eat crap! so i will ease back into running, but right now im letting my ankle heal! Can you believe that its sitll sore? Have a great workout today! You up for a game of scrabulous on facebook?

Stacey-let us know how your doing! How did your operation go,or have you had it yet?

Carrie-What workout you doing today?

Kristine-you up for a game of scrabulous on facebook! Im not a very good speller but its fun to play....takes a long time to finish, but fun!

Sara-How is your day going so far? Did you go to the doctor about your knee? What did he say?

I thinks that completes our little group here! I hope MC or Shannon get a chance to check in with us! bbl

Hey Belinda,i never went to the docs about my ankle-I just figured it was a sprang or I twisted(if there is a difference,LOL) i read online somewhere that it can take a spranged ankle a month to fully heal so mine may be sore for a while! One thing is for sure,i will be careful with it from now on!!

Good Morning Ladies!

Well...I went to the doctor yesterday and it looks like it's not too terribly bad. They twisted my leg into all different positions and the only time I felt any "discomfort" was when i was laying on my back and they had me do a straight leg lift. They think that I just injured the ligament that goes over the knee. The actual structure of my knee is really solid so that's good! So they told me to lay off of the cardio this week, take aleve daily, and ice it regularly. Next week I can ease back into cardio...but I just need to listen to my body and make sure I don't overdo it. They said it wouldn't be a bad idea for me to keep icing it every day after I work out for a couple more weeks once I start back to doing cardio. But I should be fine for the 10K in May. So I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this thing heels fully this time...with all this icing business. All and all, I was very happy to hear that it wasn't something more serious. Sucks to give up cardio this week...but it could be so much worse! Since this is my recovery week from P90x...I will probably take things easy and do some pilates and lighter, non cardio workouts the rest of the week. I really don't want to take any chances with this knee.

Lori--Awesome job on your run yesterday!!! You are seriously my hero...haha!

Amelia--super job on the powerwalk. Did you get my facebook friend invite that I sent last week?

Belinda--don't you just love itread!!! I just recently discovered itread and was amazed at what a good workout they are! I love that they tell you exactly where your speed should be...makes it very dummy proof--which is the kind of instruction I need some days...haha.

Carrie--I think it was you the other day that asked me where I was going to go to grad school. I am going to go to an actual school rather than do an online program. From all the research and articles I've read...employers are still a bit skeptical about online degrees. I think they are a great idea and I actually know a couple of people who are doing them. They actually sound a bit harder than a traditional school in some respects since you don't have lectures and direct interactions with teachers/classmates. Since my employer doesn't really offer any continuing education help...so I'm trying to be picky about the program I go into because I would hate to spend all that money and not have it recognized by a future employer. My hope is to eventually get into a larger company where there's more room to grow. All the jobs I've had post college have been for small to mid sized companies where I have absolutely no room to grow. That's usually okay for me for a couple of years...but after that I start to get bored and want to grow/learn new things...and my current job does not really offer me that opportunity. Hopefully the MBA will make me more marketable to some of the larger companies (ex. P&G) which are prominent in my town.

Hi to Cheryl,Kristine, and anyone else I missed! Have a great day ladies!!!

Sara

Morning Sara,no-i didn't get your facebook invite last week? Please send me another one:) And good news on your knee,im glad it wasn't anything serious! oh and do you like playing scrabulous?LOL all you guys will probably kick my butt,im not a very good speller and often guess,LOL

ok,gotta go get my DD up for school then workout,bb after my workout !

Hi Girls!

Just enjoying my coffee:9 Almost all gone though so it will soon be time to get some lunch for DS, put him for his nap and get my workout in:) Im hoping to take him for a small walk after his nap, he loves it outside and its warmed up quit a bit:)

Belinda** Thats o.k! LOL I also checked in on the cheetah thread and it was dated for the 26th...i was like WTH is going on? I was sooo confused! hehe

Ameila** Im suppose to be Canadian Cheetah but I can't manage to figure out how they get the nickname signiture...grant it, Ive never asked anyone to help me either. One of these days when I get the time I will figure it out!

Sara** Glad to hear its nothing to serious with your knee! I think we all have a fear of going to the Dr and him saying " Im sorry but you must never ever walk again!":+ hehe Hopefully you will be back to your old self in no time!

I should get DS's lunch started...it is 12 here now.

Lori:)

Hi, gals!

Ohmigosh, Lori, you ran the equivalent of a half marathon yesterday, and at a fairly fast clip at that. No wonder you're so skinny, gal! Woo hoo! The guys around here have a rule that if you run 13 miles you can eat whatever you want for the rest of that day. Well, it probably works for guys... but anyway, congrats!

Belinda, great workout!

Amelia, be careful with that iMAX2. That could be an ankle tripper if ever there was one. I'm sure you'll take care. I did 45 min. TM yesterday. Didn't make it to Firm It Up. Was feeling Sunday's MM.

Sara, so glad your knee isn't majorly injured. that is great, great news.

This morning I did Step Works plus the ab segment at the end of that CD. Just right.

My weight this morning is 127.2. Still. (or again - it popped up to 128 after the big weight workout on Sunday. That's okay). The nutritionist is advising me to end this diet cycle this week and stabilize for a couple of weeks before going after the final 6-7. I can live with that. Being able to up my workouts to full force again may actually be enough of a shock-your-body move to help me drop a couple more that way. I get bodyfat tested on Friday, so I'll be very curious to see what that says. Last time I tested my lean mass was 96 pounds and at that rate 18% bodyfat would be just 113 pounds.

I'm actually envisioning something more like lean mass of at least 100 and 18% putting me around 118. That feels right. It may take STS to get me those 4 muscle pounds, though, so that's what I'm ramping up for. If I can at least get the leanness in place, I'll be in a good position to add that nice muscle.

Woo hoo! Tuesday already!

Have a great day, gals!

Also - I just bought a new bike. Taxes came out better than expected. i bought the new Trek Lime bike for just cruisin' around on for low-key workouts. No hand brakes. You right sitting up and the seat opens to hold your bike lock, cellphone, etc. Only 3 gears and it shifts for you automatically. And it's a fun lime green. Love it! Took it out for a little test spin yesterday and it was great.

Life is good.

Talk to you all later!

Cheryl

Cheryl-Your new bike sounds like fun! I use to love riding bikes but since I got married and had kids,i havent had the time! My DH was recently talking about buying some bikes for all of us to go out in! I think we should wait a couple of more years until ds(whos is 2) grows a bit! Fingers crossed for ya with your bodyfat% on friday! Wow,and congrats on your weightloss!

Sara-I got your friend invite:)im till trying to figure out how to nagivate through facebook...its kinda hard,LOL!

Lori-Canandian Cheetah...mmmm, i bet there is somthing like that on that glitter.com website!

Hey to the rest of the gang!

I did imax2 premix #1,it was fun and I got my heart pumping! I think i will start previewing stepblast for thursdays cardio!I haven't done that one yet!

everybody have a great day!:)

Cheryl** Blah on the tax return! LOL I know I am going to have to pay in (again) this yr! I sooo can't wait for next yrs tax session though:) Right now I am getting a extra $50 taken out of my checks, I have $200 worth of child care a month and paying into RRSP. All of these things I didn't have in previous yrs so I should get a nice chunk of change back next yr! Hope you enjoy your new bike! Sometimes I "feel" like I should be able to eat whatever I want after a run but thats not the case. Must be nice to be a man, they probably would have burned double what I burned so no wonder they can eat whateverthey want!

Ameila** SB is a good workout, I think you will enjoy it. Do you have RS? Kind of along the same lines. 3 seg broken and then all joined together for a challenge at the end.

Lori:)

Lori-i don't have RS but another one on my great list of cathe 'to gets'!!

Hey to everybody, just passing by;-) just got through with my daily chores and logging in for the final time tonight:)

Tommorrows workout is PUB,after i go to the tag office ugh,i hate going therex(. I always get a 'talker' in line next to me,LOL. Im a friendly person and all but dang,i don't wanna hear a strangers issues(thats what happened last timex)

everybody have a great night!
