Commit to get FIT and Lean for March!

Good evening ladies,

No workout to report:confused: ended up having a wonderful day with DH:D My DVDs arrived, will do TJ tomorrow.

Have a wonderful day and weekend.

Hello everyone. I just finished tabatacise and I did FOUR of the five tabatas, woo hoo! I am very happy with myself. I paused it between tabatas 3 and 4 and then just told myself to go for it and I did. When I say I was sweating. . . DH said I looked like I just walked through the desert, lol. I feel great though. Maybe next time I will go for all five.

So happy we are in the month of March!

DS is telling me to do this. . .:mad::mad::mad: LOL.

Belinda- glad you had a wonderful day with DH. I've been curious about TJ. I have only Cathe dvds, which is a large collection. I just cannot bring myself to do any other instructor. I know it would do me good to branch out, but I can't. I have JM dvds that my friend gave me and I never did them.

Waving hello to everyone! Hope we have a great weekend. I almost took my coat off this afternoon. . . almost. Spring is almost here, lol.

Kristin

Hi,

I worked late today but finished all my Feb. stores just need to do computer work but happy to be home this weekend:) I didn't fit a workout in but tomorrow I will start up the rotation just need to figure out where I left off:confused:

Belinda & Cookie - I wanted to ask you about your DVD binders, where did you get the inserts to put DVDs in & what do you do with the label (cover & back) of DVD's?

Kristin - I thought I felt a touch of Spring today too! I wasn't looking for some buds on trees when I returned but not yet;) Wow, week 9 awesome!

Waves hi to Lori & Amelia

Goodnight:)

'Morning!
Belinda, enjoy TJ. Please keep us posted on how you're using them.
Kristin, coats here! Had snow last night. Yesterday it got into the 40s but was so damp, it was nasty. Awesome job on doing those tabatas! You go girl!
Deb, I bought dvd binders at probably Target and they came with the sleeves. At first I saved some of the dvd cases in a drawer in the tv cabinet, but now I just throw them all away. Figure if I ever need to know what is one the case, I could look it up, but have never needed to. I really don't like a lot of things around. Ok, that's amusing, since I'm sitting at my husband's desk which is completely a clutter magnet. That man does not throw out a piece of paper, I swear!
Going to do cbs, and clb today. Have to double up so can have rest days on Thursday and Friday, when I have to be at work by 6:30 am! Plus today is groceries, cleaning, and spending time with dd before bringing her back to school tomorrow.
Cookie

Hi evryone,

I will TJ today, lol. I had to contact Beachbody yesterday, some of the bonus dvds didn't arrive...arrrr. The set comes with 2 extra workouts. I also need to check Hip Hop Abs and Rocking Body if I got all my extra bonus dvds.

Kirstin - I used to think like you.....couldn't bring myself to buy/try other instructors.Change is good, keeps you from being bored. I am not a big fan of JM, her workouts work! Good job on tabatacise.

Debbie - I kept all the emty dvd cases. I posted a pic of my workout room a while back, keep all the emty cases in a box on a shelf. This is the DVD binder I bought when we left Germany, needed something that fit in my carry on:eek:
Amazon.com: Case Logic CDE-72 72 Capacity Heavy Duty CD Wallet (Blue): Electronics
If you look on Amazon they do sell binders where you can fit the inserst right next to the dvds. I love my binder. I agree with Cookie, I never look at/ needed the inserts.

Cookie - my husband sounds like yours. He keeps everything:confused: Drives me crazy. I may do Brazil Butt Lift/ Turbo Jam rotaiton. Somehow I wanted to give Xtrain a wirl too:eek: I am sure I will come up with something next week. Will start a new rotation next week.

Waving Hi to everyone that follows. Where is Lori?? BBL!

Good Morning:)

Here I am :D. Love it when people look for me...makes me feel special:D

This week was pretty good. Work was good. The germ bug seems to be left our house so no one should be sick this weekend. I worked out every day minus Thursday. I was going to take Friday as my rest day b/c I'm pretty lazy by the time Friday rolls around. But then I realized that dh was working all weekend so I decided to hang out with him on Thursday night and get a good workout in last night. I'm hoping to go for a nice run today when he wakes up. I mentioned to him about doing a marathon in aug and he wasn't overly supportive. He said "why can't you run a length that normal people can run?" Lol. And then he reinforced all of the things I was thinking anyway. Working all week long with small kids and then taking hours out of my day on the weekend to train may not be ideal right now. I dont want to feel like Im being pulled in a million different directions all the time. I will be doing some halves though.

So on Tuesday the girl who hooked me up with the job and her boss called me and asked if I could meet them after lunch. Of course, I'm thinking...what did I do wrong? Then I realized it couldn't have been that. Funny how that's always our first reaction. She wasn't my boss so she wasn't about to fire me:eek:. Anyway, I was surprised b/c she offered me a position in the accounts payable dept:eek:. So now she will be my boss. Of course I accepted it. I'd be dumb not too. It's more money and reception duties are ok and I don't dislike them but I don't know much about computers. So I start on Monday. The only crappy thing is, the girl who trained me and the girl who hired me are both away this week, neither of them know yet and I don't think they will be to happy about it. The girl who trained me is the receptionist but she wanted to take on some other duties and I was going to lighten her load. Now she is back to square one but ya know, I can't worry about that stuff. If she's upset with me so be it. I think upper mgmt is who they will be upset with. When I go in on Monday I have to pretend like nothing is happening until mgmt talks to the girl who trained me. Anyway.....so that's exciting:D Everyone loves more money!

Feels like I've been trying to type this forever. My kids are high maintenance.

Belinda** so you ordered TF? I've never been to this group on thing. I was thinking about ordering the combat DVDs and the baby's sitter is a beach body coach now so I would order through her but the more I think about it, the more I think I won't use them much. I pull out cathe all the time and I like what I like. Hate learning new stuff.

Deb** glad to hear you had a good vacation. I think I heard that Hawaii is expensive. There are no all inclusives there either, is there? I have friends who have went a number of times and when they do, they go all out so it cost a pretty penny!

Cookie** I haven't ordered the new workouts yet! You seem to be excited though. I use to order all of my cathe DVDs from a place in Canada (they are no longer in business) and when I preordered I was never charged until they were shipped. It was a win, win. Maybe that's why they are no longer in business:eek:. This was also when the American dollar was worth a lot more and things use to cost me double.

Kristin** I feel your pain with the busy week! And now we don't have any family around to help. I was thinking last night that our inlaws won't be visiting anytime soon cause they help out my SIL to much. I think since I left, they have been taking the kids for lunches and after school. Plus they pick them up for skating twice and week and they work full time. I'm thinking everyone is running around like chickens with their heads cut off but we will never hear about it. What ever floats their boat.

Ameila** hope all is well!

Is that it? Hope I didn't leave anyone out but it's possible with all the breaks I've had to take to tend to kids!

Lori:)

Happy Saturday! I spent the morning cleaning and then playing games with my boys. We bought this Mnex roller coaster thing and we were trying to put it together. I promised them no grading/work this weekend because I've been doing work every weekend lately. They were pleased. Then when my younger DS took a nap, I did Supercuts plus core #1. I had forgotten that there is that sit up/push up combo at the end, lol, but the core work after gave me an extra burn, lol. I need more core work anyway. It is the one area that no matter what I do it is soft and mushy, well the lower abs anyway. I guess after having two kids not much I can do about it.

Anyway. ..

Lori!!! So glad to see you back on here. Who cares if the two other workers will not be happy to have you in that position. More money is worth it. They'll get over it. If not, you can jab-cross-jab them into getting over it, lol. ;) My parents are in PR and not having my dad pick up the boys 2 days a week makes a difference. I felt so rushed this week. They are having a great time though and they deserve it.

Belinda and Cookie- my husband is the opposite. He is always throwing things away that we could still use or sell for that matter. I am itching for spring cleaning myself. The only thing he refuses to get rid of is shoes. He has more shoes than me, many which he won't wear ever again and yet he won't throw them away or give them away!

Deb- maybe just try to start the rotation over or do the 30 day rotation. I am wondering what I will do when I am done with Xtrain. I am missing step cardio, to be honest. I am itching to do Step Moves or Step Blast. Maybe I will do a week of whatever floats my boat and then decide on another rotation. BTW- I mentioned the Hawaii Costco to DH. I said to him, why didn't I ever know there was a Costco in Hawaii? Why don't you transfer there, lol. I would love that!!!!!

Amelia- what are you up to these days?

Off to chill out with the family. So glad it has warmed up a tiny bit. We are using the grill tonight and used it last night. Less of a mess, and less of a heavy meal!

Kristin

Hi,

I finished my computer work, started cleanmax & laundrymax but still a long way off. I'm about to do something quick for a workout before I jump in the shower. I signed us up tonight to go to the neighborhood annual wine & beer tasting party which is right next door but DH isn't thrilled. I think because our favorite neighbors can't come plus just getting off vacation. I say we can always sneak out:)

Belinda - Thanks for the DVD case ideas. Don't want to discourage you about Hawaii, your DH would probably love Pearl Harbor. You can always check out prices. We also found out later on in the trip that eating at restaurants not near the hotels worked out to a better price. Is there a TJ rotation you will follow?

Lori - Welcome back, I think the manager's will be fighting over you on Monday:eek: You didn't ask to transfer the right offer just came your way. Your right I don't think there are all inclusives, now I realize the best way to have done it would have been staying in a condo or a cruise.

Kristin - If my memory is right that Mnex roller coaster is hard to put together. I forgot about the 30 day rotation will check that out. You would be too far from home LOL both the tourists & residents go crazy for Costco. I heard they sell tons of chocolate with macadamia nuts there.

Cookie - You have a full day today & 2 workouts! I'm more like your DH, could really use you to come for the weekend & help me throw things out;) I can see why you wouldn't need the sleeves (especially with the books) but it would be really tough for me to throw out. Have fun with your DD today.

Amelia - How are you?

Enjoy the rest of the weekend:)

Hey girls, sorry to be MIA

Today I did Xtrain Bi's & Tri's round 1-5 + Leslie Sansone 4 fast miles + Power Hour core.

Debbie-How was your workout? Sounds like you had a great vacation

Kristin-Nice job with super cuts, I almost pulled that one out ( or afterburn) but I will do a circuit workout later in the week. I've tried a few JM workouts and never really found any I liked...she's a tough one though.

Belinda-your binder sounds neat. Nice job with your workout.

Lori-Congrats on the job! Thats great!

Cookie- I think you asked me last week about when I like to workout? I prefer to workout in the morning but sometimes I can get my butt out of bed early enough ( and I have to be at work around 6am/7am so the evenings are more convenient. How is your weekend going?

Did I miss anybody?

ok...off to fold some laundry, yawn.

Xtrain CBS done! I am on week 9! I filled in the calendar in the workout manager for this month. By the end of the month I will have completed Xtrain 90 day rotation and it will be spring. Love the sound of that.

DS had basketball today. It is fun to watch him play. Now we are just relaxing before dinner. The weekends go so fast.

Amelia- nice workout yesterday. I would love to try working out in the morning if my job started later in the day. As it is I am up at 5 and I just cannot get up any earlier than that, lol. I find I can put more energy into my workout at the end of the day. I did try working out a few times around 4:30 after I get home from work, which is perfect really, but it hardly works out that way because both of my boys want mommy's attention. Maybe in another year or two. That would be ideal. Work out, then make dinner and relax the rest of the night.

Deb- okay, you wanna laugh. We almost finished this roller coaster. . . well I almost finished it, when we realized we were missing the car. My mom had bought this at a yard sale years ago and we never looked at it. Can you say frustrated? It was still fun though. We want to buy the ferris wheel and do that one now. Something to do while still being cooped up in the house.

Waving hello to Belinda, Cookie and Lori.

Kristin

'Evening!
Belinda, changing this up is a good idea. Was thinking about why I find it so hard to do a much other than Cathe, and I think it might be related to coming up with a rotation. I need a plan!
Lori, glad you're doing so well that you are in such demand! Really not surprised by it. Hope it goes smoothly tomorrow.
Amelia, I workout in the morning also. This week have 3 mornings where I have to leave by 6 am, so either very early or it won't get done. Nice job on your workouts.
Kristin, how much longer are your parents in PR? Those toys with 5,000,000,000 pieces! I don't miss those days. But I do.
Deb, my dh says he sentimental that's why he keeps so many things. Well, keeping pieces of paper that you don't know what they are for is not sentimental! Love him dearly but the man is the complete opposite of the stereotype of a German engineer. Did you make it to the party?
Did clb this morning and took dd back to Providence. It was sunny and mid 40s there. Snow and 20s here. No wonder she went to college out of state. Am seeing more definition in my arms and even legs from xtrain! However, still not one ounce of change on the scale...
Cookie

Hi,

We went to the party last night it turned out to be a lot of fun. It was weird because it was the 1st time I was at the house since my neighbor moved a few years ago & she remodeled everything but it looked great.

Since I was sick from drinking wine & not eating enough put my workout off till tomorrow:( Hopefully will double up. I decided to jump back into week 4 of XT/LIC rotation. The 30 day didn't have enough variety, hmm, should check out the March rotation.

Belinda - What did you do this weekend?

Lori - Can't wait to hear how it goes at work for your tomorrow.

Kristin - Did you always follow a rotation? I hope you were able to find a substitute for the car. Years ago I remember some companies sold replacement parts just not sure what the cost is.

Amelia - Wow you did lots of workouts today. Our store already started making all the St. Patty's cookies & cakes but like Kristin says any sign of spring is great:)

Cookie - Seems like you are getting a lot of snow this year, good for the ski resorts. Did you pick up bread when you took DD to school?

Goodnight:)

Hi Girls:)

Quick checkin before I hit the sack. Yesterday was a 11.5 k run and today I did 12 k and I just finished xtrain burn sets upper body and core 1. I think I'll be sore tomorrow. Speaking of....new position...start of something new. Just as I was getting comfy in the other position.

Kristin** I bet the boys enjoyed having all your attention this weekend. How old is the youngest? Had to ask cause you said the word "nap"! DS wasn't very old when he stopped napping but the baby is still taking two a day. I can see his development is totally different from DS's already. I don't think we are owing to have the same issues. Nice workouts.

Belinda** sounds like someone is a little under the weather:eek:. I've been to yucky since I got here to be hung over. It was nice to have a weekend where I wasn't sick since we moved in here.

Ameila** nice workouts.

Cookie** I'm guessing out aren't to bothered by the number on the scale? At least it didn't go up like some people have been complaining about.

I will try to pop back tomorrow!

Lori:)

Morning girls,

Sorry for not checking much this weekend, I was under the weather. Haven't worked out since Thursday:(

Lori - so glad to see you back. Congrats on the new position. That's fantastic! Glad you feeling better. So you gonna do a half soon? You are a super woman:eek:

Kirstin - I started my spring cleaning already. Wow, can't believe you already on week 9? WTG! I should give that rotation a try on day;)

Debbie - we thinking on changing our plans. Like you said, lots of nice places to go. There are lots TJ rotations you can find on the web, can't decited which one? I may came up with my own. What rotation are you doing? Glad you had fun at the party. Sorry about your hang over:p

Amelia - l love my binder, keeps everything nice and neat. Good job on keeping up with your workouts.

Cookie - change is good. Coming up with your rotation isn't a probleme, the probleme is fitting all your workout dvds in can be tricky, lol. Since I like mixing them all in/up. I am thinking doing a Xtrain/Brazil Butt Lift/Turbo Jam/Rocking Body and P90X workouts. Now that's a challenge, hah? LOL! Don't worry about the number on the scale. I take nice definitions and inches over the # on the scale. Fantastic job.

I will be back later. Have a wonderful day and workout, everyone.

Good Morning,

Thought I'd check in before work. I'm looking forward to learning something new today. I'll be happier when I'm all settled in and know exactly what I'm doing and don't have to ask a million questions! I think tonight will be a cardio and legs night. I might do a circuit or I may separate the two.

Belinda** I am def doing a couple of halves this year. I need to figure out DHs work schedule first though cause I don't plan on driving myself to the city! I'm not that brave :). Sorry to hear you weren't well this weekend. I know all to well what your talking about. The baby woke up again yesterday morning not feeling the best. Just when it seemed he was on the mend his nose is like a water fountain again :(

I will try to come back tonight! Have a good one everybody!

Lori:)

Hi,

I did BS chest, back & shoulders. I hurt my hip & not sure how (not from w/o) but I think a good stretch or yoga should take care of it. I'm going to make this quick I need to get up early tomorrow.

Belinda - I started back to XT/LIS week 4. I hope your feeling better. How are your ears? I heard you may get snow mid week.

Lori - So how is the new position? I still can't believe how many w/o's your getting in & working full time:eek:

Kristin - I hope the snow passes you up otherwise you'll be going to school in July;) but March snow usually melts quickly.

Waves hi to Amelia & Cookie

Goodnight:)

Hey Girls,

Workout done. I did CM, LBB standing leg work and abs. My legs weren't happy with me. The baby went to bed early so I started my workout early and now I have time to relax before bed.

Belinda** sounds like your enjoying TJ!

Deb** I really don't like the fact that my job involves sitting most if the day. I can see how anyone would want to come home after and want to sit even more but I'm not going to allow it...lol. So no matter how tired I am, I force myself to. Kids are in bed so I work away :) Hope your hip doesn't cause any probs!

Lori:)

Morning girls,

Today I will do Xtrain weights, not which one yet?

Lori - how do you do it? You work full time, family and you still getting all your workouts in:eek:. How many half are you thinking about this year? Good job on CM and LBB legs.

Debbie - hope it's nothing serious with your hip? Take it easy. We suppose to get 8-15 inches, arrr.

Hi Cookie, Kirstin and Amelia!

I will be back later.
