******Clean & Tidy Weekend******

Yesterday was a horrible day. They had a big party at work and I ate Oreos and cake. Then my client said that the reports we created for my upcoming release are unusable and she can't sign off. So Monday I am going to meet with my team to see what went wrong.

Today should be better since I am going to visit my Mom to celebrate her birthday. It will be nice to see my neice (she is 9 1/2 months) and the rest of my family.

Katie, have fun this weekend with your Mom.
Robin, you are so generous. Good job picking something easy to make for Thanksgiving.
Klaudia, how was the movie?
Kate, sorry about the car trouble. Maybe they should come visit you.
Angie, I used to belong to a gym that did double step classes on Fridays. It was a lot of fun.

Good morning!

The movie was cute-it started out a bit slow, but the end was fantastic. I'm happy that the 2 year old made it through without any major tantrums. It's pouring here today, too. And it's supposed to snow later, too.:( Today's workout is a total body, either PH or MM. Eating was great until last night. I didn't get a chance to eat before the movies like I had planned so by the time we came home I was starving. Ended up eating-are you all ready-a double deluxe cheeseburger, a regular cheeseburger, and fries!! Then I had 1 piece of a Twix! One of these days, it's gonna catch up to me, I know. Now that I think about it, I'll be doing some cardio today, too. As for plans, not sure yet. DH is working this morning. Since we don't have a sitter we might take the girls out to dinner for our actual anniversary tonight. Tomorrow I need to make a Target run, hopefully solo;)

Colleen, don't feel bad about your treats. Compared to the damage I did, yours is nothing! Enjoy your family time.

Robin, can you go to a mall and powerwalk? I wish ours was closer; it'd be nice for a change of scenery.

A quick hello from me, too!

So, I did all the weight work and 3 of the 4 cardios from the Timesaver DVD this week. Not quite what I had planned, but close. I also went to two tap classes. It's a lot more than I've done in a LONG time, so I'm pleased. It will definitely help me get back in the groove.

Katie, glad you're having fun.

Colleen, sorry about your horrible day yesterday. Hopefully today will be better.

klaudia, when you eat your am cereal do you measure it or just dump it in the bowl? im a measurer... i love cereal so much - i would eat it til its gone.

katie, ive tken the girls to an imax movie about dinosaurs, but nothing else. they loved it. it was 3d and we had a blast. have fun at moms! ^5 on your mile!

My mom cooked a big breakfast -- scrambled eggs with cheese, sausage, bacon, biscuits, etc. I had one biscuit, 2 slices of bacon, and an apple! I am pretty motivated to hold it together today!!
 
Way to go Katie!! That is a major accomplishment. I can totally relate. I'm not a runner, either. But I'm on my third round of the couch to 5k training plan. I'm running a 5k on Dec. 14th. It'll be my 3rd one. It's such a challenge. And great job on the eats. It's so hard to resist mom's cooking-especially if your mom cooks like mine:)

Kate, I do both-measure and dump. I measure first and after that I eyeball it. I figure I get about 300 or so cals with milk. So breakfast is around 350-400 cals with fruit-I hope!

Anne, you did great this week! And thanks for the reassurance. Thank goodness I don't eat that way often!
 
Holy moly! Robin, are you in a safe place? Do you have a basement? Tornadoes scare me to death-I have nightmares about them. Please keep us posted and stay safe!

I got to workout!!!! Julia's sleeping, big girls are playing!
I did the WU from 4DS HIS and then chest/back. My weights were pathetic but I'm gettin' back at it! Going to do 4DS weights for a couple weeks I think..... I know I can't get an hour in at a time for a while so I'll do some 30 min. WO's and ease back into this.. yay!!!!!!!!

working out definetly helps to keep the clean-eating motivation going!:D
 
My workout is done! I ended up doing the total body premix from PUB/PLB. Just got done eating the greek yogurt with raspberries and honey that Darrin bought (along with a bunch of other stuff) at Meijer. And he just got done Swiffering and shining the wood floors. Man, I just love him!:)

Kate, great job on the eats and the workout! Most average women would not be so dedicated so soon after having a baby. You rock! Oh, and my 5k is a Jingle Bell Run in New Baltimore-a mile away.
 
Hey all, The step class was awesome! I had such a great time. I only looked at the clock 2 times which is so amazing for me! It's so fun to watch everyone turning the same way!I'm getting ready to go to my in laws for Annabel's birthday party so I'll come back for personals tomorrow. Still miss my Cathe but the gym is OK.angie

angie, glad you hada good class! HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANNABEL!!!!!!!!!!!! do you have a nickname for her, or do you use her whole name every time? we shotren gina up to g all the time. isabel is bella, but NEVER izzy - i HATE that and my dad and his wife do it all the time.

*thankfully* the durango made it shopping/out to eat and back!;):D eats were clean and got the girls some much-needed new clothes.

sunday will be church and laziness!!!!!!!!! well, as lazy as i can get, which actually isnt very lazy, but at least we can just hang around the house!:)
 
hi everyone - active bunch!! and you are all so motivating - i am the lone slacker, not by choice:(

yesterday was rough for me. i did workout - an hour of floor work. otherwise i did not do anything except bake - bread for my neighbor who helped me this week and choc chip cookies for dh to take on his trip monday. as for MY eating, well, i had 1/2 a cookie and otherwise ate clean, but too many cals, know what i mean? today is a new day. i did bm2 double upper body and am going to swim later. please please pray that come thursday i get cleared for biking or an elliptical!! i am really trying not to feeel srry for myself, but some times are harder than others!

robin, tornados terrify me. hope you are all well.

kate, glad you got a good workout in and enjoy some rest today and family time.

katie, great job with the run. there are so many different ways to be fit, and when you accomplish something you did not think you could do, it feels great, doesn't it? i ama runner at heart and miss it so much, like part of me is gone.

angie, i'd miss cathe if i took another step class too, but it sounds like it was fun. are you normally a gym goer or home exerciser?

klaudia, great workout! how are you training for your 5k? do you run outside or on a treadmill?

katie, great job keeping eats clean and resisting. the cookie dough was so tempting - i settled for 4 choc chips:)

todays eats will be low cal for sure!!

s - nuts and veg
d - ???? soup and salad maybe? it is dh's last homecooked meal for 3 weeks, so i will see what he wants, but my dinner will be clean!
