Katie, try www.jennieo.com. I was trying to post a link, but I'm tech challenged:( There's a recipe for turkey tamale pie that looks good. I've made one similar and it's yummy.

Well, my day is not really looking up. My car has a completely flat tire. I knew I ran into something when I was almost to the office and looked before I came inside, but everything was okay. Went out at lunch to check on it and it's down to the ground. So, I called AAA and had them come change the tire and then took it to a local garage I use. I was getting worried about the back tires anyway, so it's probably good in the end, but what a pain. And more $$$. Oh, well, at least it can't get worse, right? Ha! I know there are much worse things than a flat tire, they're just such a pain in the neck. At least I wasn't on the highway or anything.

Kate, glad you got some stuff done today, have fun with the versa climber.

Klaudia, do you and Darrin eat a lot of fish? I don't do seafood of any kind, except canned tuna. I know, that's bad, but I just don't care for the taste or texture.

Robin, how old are your kids?

Angie, how was the trip to/from school today?

Katie, you can put ground turkey in any recipe where you would use ground beef, but be warned the flavor will be different. Not in a bad way, just different. I like ground chicken a lot better, but maybe that's because it's easier to spice up.

Colleen, I hope your client meeting went well. Do you mind me asking what you do?

Morris, how was music class?

Okay, bbiab.

anne

anne, that stinks about the tire!
im pretty muc a no-seafood gal too...unless its fried;), but i havent had it in years.

Another non-seafood eater here!! Can't stand the smell of it even, blech, barf!

You know, Kate, my birthday is right around the corner;)

Klaudia, thanks for the link!

lol katie - almost spit my water out!!!! we're calling it our cmas present to ourselves!
i gave into my craving for a 2nd blueberry muffin. feeling very full now:confused: ugh ,,,,,, you givin' in to yours????

Wow Kate! You're on a bender!;) We're still debating the selectechs. Ah, well. Haven't worked out yet. Sheetmax wore me out. I'll go workout when the Biggest Loser comes on-good motivation:) Eats have been clean-so far. The ice cream is still in the freezer and I might just have to help it leave;)

Anne, sorry about your crummy day. Main thing is you're safe. We like fish, but prefer steak:) I'll have tuna 1-2/week and salmon, cod, or tilapia once every two weeks or so. We like shrimp, crab cakes, lobster, too. By the way, I haven't heard back yet from the KB trianer, although he did "friend" me on Facebook. I'll keep you posted.

Katie, what did you end up making with the turkey? I crave a beer every once in a while-Corona Light with a lime. By the time I get the craving, Darrin has usually helped himself to my stash cause his is gone. Better that way, I guess.

LOL Kate, glad I could make you laugh!! Guess I shouldn't feel guilty about the new $70 purse I bought myself for Christmas!

Klaudia, the turkey was GROSS!! Sorry, but I did not care for it at all. I gagged down two bites, then gave it to the dog. And then I s-l-o-w-l-y ate a piece of dark choc. to get that nasty taste out of my mouth. I agree that Biggest Loser is great motivation!! And Corona Light with lime is my favorite too!

No beer here, dinner was two bites of puke-worthy turkey burger, a baked sweet potato, and steamed broccoli. Oh yeah, and a choc. truffle:D

klaudia, sheetmax is a WO - esp. w/ 4 beds!

katie, is your purse that one lady that you like? i forget the name.....

beer??? yuck!!! sorry you do not like turkey, katie. i LOve ground turkey breast. i love fish more, though - cod halibut, haddock, yumm!

kate, you are truly going to have a gym you could charge a membership for. where do you put everything??? yum on the blueberry muffins.

anne, bummer about the flat tire. that is a nightmare to me, though, i agree, things coul;d be worse.

klaudia, do you watch all the biggest losers? what do you do for a workout while you watch since i assume you cannot do a cathe dvd at the same time? i have never watched that show until last week when there was the season 3 marathon on - i dvred it and have been watching it while i am on the treadmill. i am now totally addicted.

music class was so fun. the bad part of my day is my 2.5 year old refused to nap!! i cannot bear the idea of him giving them up. it cannot happen. but, we all had a great stroller walk, and finn let me do 4ds bis and tris 2 times.

oh, kate, quick question for you - i remember you talking about classical stretch a lot. i saw that title on pbs at 6am. can you tell me who is on that dvd or what it is like? i am interested if this is the same idea. thanks!

any of you guys do yoga?

Morris, Our basement is a walk-out finished basement. We have a spearate WO room , but we are slowly taking over the girls' playarea!

Glad the class was fun! How often do you go?

CS is by Miranda Esmond-White but I did see on her website (classicalstretch.com) her daughter has 2 dvds now. I'm curious to try them. She does have a pbs series, but I've never seen it. I have a lot of her dvds but my total fave is Athletes Intense Stretch. Makes all over stretch tapes look really dumb. I feel 2" taller and all loosey goosey at the end of it. I HIGHLY recommend it.

No yoga here - CS is it for me. Wish I made time fo rit more.

WO is done! 4ds HIS plus the end of LIS. Felt good to relieve some tension.

LMAO, i'll trade ya for the Versaclimber !!!!!:p:p:p

Kate, how long is Miranda's athlete's intense stretch?? I may ask for it for my b-day.

Workout done! Woo hoo! I'm quite proud of myself, I must say. I never work out this late. Maybe I'll treat myself to some ice cream:)

Morris, I watch the Biggest Loser, but not consistenly. It was great motivation to get my workout in though. I did hiit on the treadmill-5min w/u followed by 6 intervals of 1 [email protected]/2 [email protected] with a 2 minute c/d. At one point Jillian was counting down and it was exactly the same as my interval time! Crazy!

Katie, I thought Vera Bradley only did those paisley soft bags. That purse is really cute!

Kate, that stretch dvd looks fab! I am not a fan of yoga at all, but I would definitely try that. Man, are you gals a bunch of enablers or what?!

Gonna shower and watch The Real Housewives-a guilty pleasure:)
