Good morning & happy weekend!
The fam wants buttermilk pancakes and sausage for breakfast this morning so wish me luck! I'm going to try to eat my banana and 9-grain bread.....
The rest of the day is going to be crazy, but I really really want to keep it clean. I've been doing good and I don't want to blow it simply because of the weekend. This morning DH and I are going to his deceased great uncle's house to clean it out some more. We've been doing this for about 6 months now and it's taking forever. He was a complete pack rat and you truly can't imagine what he hoarded. The upside to this is that we're working in the basement today. I'll be hauling loads of junk to put in the dumpster that we have in the driveway. Last time I made 212 trips up the stairs...that counts as cardio/leg, huh?
Dinner tonight is going to be so challenging. We're going to DH's parents house and they are ordering in pizza from this great Italian place. MIL will have veggies and fruit but they always FREAK that I "don't eat enough! A bird couldn't survive on that!" Yes, I'm surviving quite fine, thank you! I hate the pressure to eat more than you want to.
Grr, today is going to be hard, but thanks for the motivation. I'll let you know how I do.
PS - Still hoping for the granola bar recipe.....!:7
