Hi Peeps. Wow it is chilly in my house maybe that 's why my lowmax w/o was easy.

I brought the Tosca Reno book and wow she looks good.It's a nice book and I'm going to try of the recipes.

B- oatmeal....real clean oatmeal I do not have yet
S- 1/2 protein bar
L- tuna burger
S-1/2 protein bar
D- bakes ziti with turkey and low fat cheese

Well I got my kids cholesterol results back and my son levels are high (222). It should not be higher than 199, so WE got work to do.I will no longer make then separate meals they will eat what I eat. Also I'm going to encourage him to do weight training. Does anyone know of a male-cathe like person on DVD. I can't think of his name Patrick ?

Wendi - I am glad you had a good time at Cathe's step class.
Robin - sorry to hear about your son's cholesterol. I think you are referring to Patrick Goudeau but he mostly does step workouts. Gilad might be better since most of his workouts are weight training. If you have fit tv, he has a strength workout almost everyday. He is also good about showing you the correct form.

Here's the plan:

w/o: Cardio & Weights

B: shredded wheat w/ skim milk
s: banana
l: taco salad
s: protein shake
d: out w/ in-laws. We are going to a fish place where I can either get my fish w/ teriyaki sauce or japanese bread crumbs w/ herbs. I am not sure which is better for me.
 
Good afternoon, it's a quiet day here today, isn't it? I'm so excited, I'm a foster parent at the Humane Society and I got some new kittens last Thursday for low weight. Well, after only three days I have them lapping up formula from a dish (no more bottles!) and they're definitely getting chubbier.

Robin, how old is your son? Has he taken any gym classes in school? Many of the schools around here have weight classes, or gym/weight combined. If he's old enough, maybe he would like being in a class with other boys/peers?

My meals today -
B - Steelcut oats
L - Will be a sandwich, lots of fruit (didn't have any with breakfast), maybe some soy milk or steamed veggies
D - I'm going out for drinks, and possibly dinner - either way, it won't be clean! But, I did such a good job this week that I'm not too concerned.
 
Sjeila thanks for asking my son is 10 and he has gain 30# in one year. When my cousin lived near by she used to babysit for me , so after school she made the kids go out and play. Well last year she moved to NC and i guess my son is not getting enough exercise. He likes wrestling so I'm going to look into boxing classes or something alone those lines. He had a ashma attack during one of his gym classes and the teacher freak out.The gym teacher refused to allow him to run relays, even though the Dr. said it was ok.

He likes to exercise at home so I started letting him used my DBs and rebounder, walk-away-the pounds DVD. I just have to remind him to do at least 1/2 hour. His sister always wants to make fun of him when he works out. I've also changed his diet to the same one that i'm doing. The Clean diet book has a chapter on kids, which is great.I also brought him oatmeal with Omega-3.In six months he has to go and get his cholesterol check again. I'm going to make sure it is before Christmas....LOL

Dinner today will be whole wheat pasta and steam shrimp, for everyone!

Kittens...I love Kittens:* did you name them?
 
Robin - Glad to hear things are looking up for your son. Just like us, as he sees results of his hard work he'll keep motivated. Remind him how different foods will affect his w/os. I know if I've had excess sugars in anytime in the day my cardio w/os really suffer later.

Sjeila - I would love to have kittens but my oldest dog would chase them like crazy! Tell me more about soy milk. I've been meaning to ask someone for a long time. I've heard from different sources that anything soy can mess with your hormones, even causing way early puberty/menses in girls. Anybody know anything about this?

Today was so/so. I've been awesome for about 2 weeks and had small cheats here anf there today. Last night I did power hour and am super sore tonight. Tonight I did Rhy. Step. The first segment is so much fun.

Well, tomorrow back to squeaky clean. I had 1 slice if pizza w/ the fam today and I feel gross and huge. yuck.
