I'm leaving for work shortly and probably won't be able to checkin again today. It has been so busy at the center lately - I love it! P90X+ has pushups in nearly every workout. Even IntervalX+ has pushups.

My day has been going well.(no cheats) Happy,happy,joy,joy!

Kate, Good job with sticking to the plan. I'm sure you'd do better than you think with the pushups.

Hey birthday girl, How's your day been? PUB/PLB bonus combo is a great premix of both workouts.

Robin, I'm still in awe of your weightloss! Way to go! S&H and Amy's Slo-Mo sounds good.

Making soup right now. Its simmering on the stove and smells so good! I'm going to have a big bowl and some apple slices too.
 
Yay, a push up challenge. Should I post something in OD to get others to join us? I am not doing any push ups today, but I will tomorrow (UB weights on the agenda). There was a thread really recently where Aqua Jock said that she saw they biggest gains by doing then 2-3 days a week, not every day. I think I will do push ups on all of my weight days.

My day is still going well, thanks! I DID get birthday money -- enough to pay for my Cathe purchases this morning!

Robin and....was it Colleen (???), I am leaning away from the Oct 07 rotation because it uses Gym Styles, which I just finished with. S&H and Slo Mo seems like a good combo, but I canNOT afford anymore workouts right now!! I think I am going to do 3 weeks S&H, one week endurance, 3 weeks Pyramids, one week endurance, then an 8 week rotation that Fitness Freak recommended.

Off to cook dinner (who has to cook themselves dinner on their birthday??), check back later!

okay, so we start pushups tomorrow then every other day after that. yikes! yes, we should do boy push ups. Can we count halfs????!! (like when you get down to the floor but cannot push back up???!!

Katie, I usually end up cooking on my bday too.x( Hurray for bday $$$$!

Dinner was tasty! I had some pb and grapes too....mmmmmm

DH is going to play with his baseball cards while I do Imax 2 tonight. At least he'll be in the same room with me!
 
Well, today was clean until dinner. I came home from work and started to meltdown because I had so much to do and not enough time. DH was at happy hour, which I could not attend because of my workload, and picked up burgers for dinner. It was delicious but totally unclean. Good news though - they hired someone who will help me out with my work. Just need to hang on until 2/11.

Pushup challenge - sounds like fun! I usually do boy push-ups but I definitely want to improve so that I can beat Kelly Ripa (she did 44 pushups in a challenge against Jeremey Piven)

Kate, the soup sounds tasty. Was it good?
Katie, you are set for coats. I don't have Slow & Heavy but I can sub Slo Mo if we all want to do the Oct rotation
Robin, let me know which rotation you like better and we can do that in Feb.

I am going to chill now to avoid another meltdown tomorrow :)

Cute jacket, Katie! I'm due for a new snow coat too. My last one I got when I was preg and it HUGE on me. I hardly ever wear it though. Usually wear my black leather one.

Colleen, YAY! Helper! Wish I could get one. Hang in there!

I did 40 min of Imax2 and then my foot started killing me!! Guess I need to wear shoes. I'll break out my Nikes for the hi-impact stuff from now on. I did Classical Stretch to compensate and I feel awesome now. I gave Imax2 my all so really not too bad that I didn't finish it.

Lots of paperwork to do. bbl....
 
Good evening ladies,

My eating has been pretty good today.

B-protien shake
s-french toast bagel with butter(my co worker brought it in for me, I snacked on it all day)
s-apple, string cheese 3 cracker w. chicken salad
l- lean cuisine, almonds and rice cakes
d-fish, green bean casserole(frozen kind) couscous
s- coffee

I didn't work out todayx( Already off to bad a start for the week. But I did step on the scale am down 3lbs for the month.

I will try to get up early tomorrow and workout but my sis and I are going to Atlantic City for the day so I will have to get up real early.:-(

Kate Imax 2 is so much fun. Hope you enjoy it. I don't know how you get through the whole day with the energy for an evening workout. By the time evening gets here I want to collaspe.

So how will this push up challenge will work? I tend to get a better rom if I do my with hand on the step. But I always do them from my knees.

Jenn, Dontcha *hate* it when we get sabotaged by well-meaning friends and family? Good luck with your sis tomorrow. Hope you guys have fun tomorrow! Good job on the ###. That's a good way to go - slow and steady - keeps it off long-term. ^5!
 
Jenn, As far as the energy thing, I think I'm just resigned to the fact that this is the only time I get to work out so my body expects to get moving then. Plus I feel like when I work out at night I've burned off the days calories! After my work out DH and I do paperwork for our business for a couple hours. It's not easy or perfect, but what is?

I'm in an oddly good mood tonight. Haven't yelled at DH once!:+
