Christmas at Disney World

My family is going to Disney World and just found out that my SIL can't go. She was going to be our unofficial guide as we have never been there. We also weren't going to have to pay for lodging and now we do. They are going to let us use their truck for transportation, they live in GA which is a few hours away. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. My kids are 11 and 10. I am checking the library for resources too! Thanks so much for any help!

We went at Christmas two years ago. Try and avoid Magic Kingdom on New Year's Eve. It felt more crowded than Times Square. But I have to admit it was very orderly getting out the way they have things set up. The Unofficial Guide was a real help to me. I've used it for two trips and have been able to see almost everything we wanted. Try and use Fast Pass as much as possible and if you can use the singles line. Try this to plan your trip:

It will tell you what parks to avoid on what days. I don't know if I'd ever go again during that time, but it was worth it to go at least once. You must see Fantasmic at MGM. That was my favorite of the fireworks.
