Hello ladies!! It's a beautiful Sunday morning here. The sun is shining and the temp is supposed to hit 68 degrees!!

I did sts disc 4 (legs) this morning. I really like that w/o. I went light on most everything except used (2) 25 pounders for squats and DLs. It felt sooooo good. I would really like to add some cardio in, but can not get motivated now to move off of the couch

Linda, I hope your hip is better!!
Judi, enjoy your rest before starting Meso 3:eek:

I found some motivation and did SP&J step only premix. Short and to the point. My foot is still a bit bothersome, but it's no worse if I workout.

So any of you preordering STS Shock Cardio??? I did already

Excited to see Cathe has new cardio coming out, gonna have to break down and purchase it, always looking for new cardio.:p Maybe I could right it off as a business expense:p:p:p.

This is week four of cardio acceleration and I think my last week. About four weeks of something is about all I can handle.

Started with 4 DS HIS through first interval, then of course one minute runs between sets.

CHEST
Incline DB Press
10/10/10 - 35's
DB Flyes
15/15/15 - 21's (up a 1# and still managed to do max reps)
Pushups
14/12/12

TRICEPS
DB Lying Extension
10/10/10 - 20's
DB Close Grip Press
10/10/10 - 30's (normally drop to 25# last set & 15 reps, but forgot and used 30's, surprised I made it)
DB Kickbacks
20/20/18 - 12's

Then stretch from 4DS HIS. Workout was 58 minutes and burned 452.

Hip still hurt on Sunday which was a rest day. This morning felt great no pain at all. Until I sat down to breakfast, when I got up pain was back, which is the same way this started on Friday. Maybe I just shouldn't sit down anymore?:confused::confused:

YES!! I placed my order yesterday too:)

Today was disc 19 (chest, shoulders, triceps) which is week 3 of Meso 2. I am happy to say that I was able to bench press all the sets at the prescribed weight without a spotter:D My highest was 72#. Unfortunately by the time I got to triceps, I hit a wall and had to drop way down:mad: which really pissed me off. Oh well, there is always another day.

Catherine- I'm still only in Meso 2 and totally askerd of Meso 3:eek: I feel like I'm maxed out on certain exercises already. Great work on disc 4....did you get to do some plate slides? Those are tough!

Linda- Sorry to hear your hip is still bothering you. I think you should be able to write off STS cardio as a business expense;)

That's why my inner thighs are so sore today  How could I forget about those!!

AWESEOME job on benching!! Unfortunately it does fry the tricpes. But hey who's counting ;)

Nice job Linda-:eek: on your chest work. I hope you figure out your hip soon or it disappears :(

I did 4ds upperbody premix this evening  That's one tough upperbody w/o!! I took my dogs for a walk afterwards and my dang foot started bothering me  So it doesn't seem to matter what I do :( It's not like a bad pain but more of a burning sensation that is very uncomfortable. ***sigh***

Hey, nice workouts everyone!

Catherine - Sorry to hear the foot is still bugging you. Is it any better today? How is your brother?

Judi - I agree with you. The rotation I am doing called for Chest, Shoulders and Triceps all on the same day and I felt fried by the end, so I moved shoulders to leg day. You still did a great job!

Hip is doing better and is happier if I don't sit for too long. A hip that doesn't like sitting - weird?

Haven't order Shock Cardio yet, but I will be.

This morning I did Imax2 and Abs, doing the ab work after each interval. Workout was 58 minutes and burned 48

I did Amy Bento's In the Ring kickboxing workout this morning and burned 528 calories. I'm renting this one from Netflix and getting flak from everyone to send it back so we can get something else:confused: I'm definitely going to buy this one.

Catherine- That 4DS UB workout is a good one. I'm enjoying STS but still miss doing some of the other w/o's. Darn it about your foot:mad: It must be frustrating! Hang in there.

Linda- Glad the hip feels better but weird how sitting seems to bother it? Could it be over-tight muscles, maybe glutes, pulling on the hip? That is what seems to happen to me.

Judi - Nice to know I have tight glutes!:p:p:p Isn't that what all women want???:p:D:p:D
In the Ring is a fun workout! Reminds that I haven't done it in a while, need to get that one back out. BTW, it's only 12.24 over at deepdiscount ;)

Linda, I love IMAX2:eek::eek: Maybe one day I'll get to do it again.

Judi, glad you are liking STS. Sorry that you are missing other w/o :(

I did LIC cardio premix followed by STS stability ball abs (still working on some of those moves  ) and extended stretch.

Catherine- Last time I did STS SB ab circuit, I went up into a pike using both legs then I lifted one in the air and tried to hold it. It was incrediably hard and really tough on the quads. I don't see myself getting the one legged pikes down anytime soon

I admit that I didn't even try those tonight  But yeah, when I do try them I feel it in the quad. I also keep getting caught up in my shoe strings for some reason

OK, this is funny. I am watching ABC and the introduction music for the Presidential address sounded so familar to me. Then it dawned on me it's the intro music in STS

One legged pikes sound brutal!

Okay today was legs and I decided to test the knee with some squats, used DBs & went light. Couple of twinges during but no pain and no pain afterwards. So I am happy, but won't be squatting any major weight yet.:p Also, have no idea why, but my heart rate was over the top today. During the runs it was anywhere from 170 to 175 bpm with very little effort. It was crazy!:confused::confused::confused:

Started with 4DS HIS through first blast. One minute runs between sets.

LEGS
DB Squat
15/15/15 - 30's (did a few more reps due to the lighter weight)
SLDL
12/12/12 - 105#
Calves
25/25/25 - 35's Toed Front/In/Out (drop one set and did more reps)
***Not ready to attempt lunges on the knee yet****

SHOULDERS

OHP
10/10/10 - 25's
Lateral Raise
12/12/12 - 15's (stayed w/ 15's whole time, before was droping to 12's last set)
BO Rear Delt Raise
16/15/15 - 12's

Then did stretch from 4 DS LIS.

Then did two sets of chins 6/4 just so you guys don't throw me out of here!:p

Loving the fact that my abs are still getting sore from the ab work.:D

We won't throw ya out :p Nice job on those squats btw. I struggled with the 25s the other day. I actually kinda like the feel of db squats though.

I liked the DB squats with the lighter DBs. Whenever I try to use heavy DB's they just get in my way and screw up my form.

Morning Ladies!

I did Disc 20 Legs and what a difference the versagripps made! I used 37.5# DB's for my narrow squats and no forearm fatigue at all:) Can't wait to use them for BB rows and DL's.

Catherine- So when are you planning to start STS? I'm curious to see what you think of it.

Linda- Nice workout! I'm only doing chins/pulls once per week during the back/bicep W/O's and I still have to use the band for assistance. I can still only eek out a couple without help:mad:
