:::CHEETAHS SATURDAY:::

No time for personals right now. I have yet to check a paper. I just wanted to share that I just woke up from having a very interesting dream. I received a surprise package on my door step and when I opened it, it had a whole bunch of Cathe dvds in it that I don't have and a new high step. LOL! :)

I'm back! After 3 segments of Flexible Warrior, I showered up and started in on cleaning. The kids each took their rooms. The deal was if they straightened up their rooms then they could play outside. It's beautiful out there. Dh and I are going out with another couple (dinner and a comedy club). I hope it's not too late of a night. I have to make up one workout I missed due to being sick this week tomorrow.

Wendy ~ Awesome job!!!! Woo hoo for a PR!! :7 Well, maybe I can get one of the kids to take my picture. LOL! I'm not posting it on here though. Maybe the yahoo group? I wish I had done a before shot. x( Yes, he did tell me that starting with the half is a good start. We were talking about the long training for marathons, and how hard it is for mom's of young kids (esp active kids).

Cathy ~ how are your blisters? I DID find that lock feature on my phone. Whew! ;-) So, which Cheetah did you wake up? Now what is Gymboss? ha ha! Oh, it would be great to live near each other. It's been a lot of fun running with others. I must not be pushing myself hard enough during the week. My two Sat runs, the pace is much faster. Today was 9.11 avg pace. The older gentleman I was running with said, "Do you always run at this pace?" ummm, "NO!" lol I thought he was setting the pace. :+

Christine ~ That sweaty emoticon made me LOL! Too funny! It's actually the perfect day here temp wise. It's about time!!!! That guy was a great conversationalist. He was in his 60's! I was starting to pass the group he was with and we started running together. OK, how about a 30 time Chicago marathoner!??!? He ran in all 30 Chicago marathons!!! Glad I didn't run next to him!! LOL It was so neat meeting all these different people. The 30 timer had a young family member battling cancer. :( Of course, they tell these accounts before we start our run. Last night was our quiet night. Hope your ankle pain goes away! Did you do the original BC?

Gloria ~ That's exactly what was happening. I couldn't stop my mind from racing, thinking, etc. UGH Sheesh! Nothing like watching the hours roll by when you're totally exhausted. x( Glad your leg feels better. :) Hope you get some good zzz's tonight. WOW! That was some dream. :)

Shelly ~ Way to go!! Woo hoo for you two!!! :7 Oh, I have a long way to go to meet "tough" Cheetah status!! }( lol Thanks though! :) Yeah, sounds like the perfect way to settle in...a little 5K with another Cheetah. :) Sounds like you two had a good time.

I know I promised to catch up on the other thread. However, I have to feed the kids before we go out tonight. Hi to Posh, Linda, Kristi, Judy, Kath, Jackie and any other Cheetahs I may have missed. :)

Have a good one everyone!

posh- when is your 5k with carole?

ok, so another workout that was a huge miss with me. x( i turned it off in the middle and did a 30 min icycle. this was supposed to be a bootcamp workout and it never once got my heartrate up. UGH!

Cathy: Yes, my DH is an interesting guy. Thanks. We met in college. We both worked at Red Lobster. He is well liked and always the life of the party. Sorry your hormones are out of wack. Hope you have a great night! Wait, you HAVE to go to www.freerice.com! It is a vocabulary quiz, where every word you get right, the UN donates 20 grains of rice to hungry nations. Very cool!

Sunny: Sorry your workout was bungered. Thanks re: the pics!

Shelly: I did sleep before and after the insomnia, so I made it okay on my run. Great job on your race there! :) Your family must be so happy to have you guys there! I agree, we need to stick together and support each other.

Dallas: Hopefully your sleep will come easily tonight. I will be thinking of you and your friends. :)

I hope I didn't miss anyone. I am still in a fog after my nap. May be back later. If not, have a great night all and hi to anyone I unintentionally missed! :)

Wendy – oh no worries, I was just kind of hoping I could get it by itself. I’m sure someone on VF will want to trade it, or someone on eBay will have it. Thanks for the offer, though – you’re so sweet! I’m so glad that you and Shelly had such a good time!

Gloria – I have to admit that it’s nice having a job where once I leave the office, I’m done. I really admire teachers for their dedication. Wow. Good job on the 4 miles! Glad you’re feeling good and your leg is not bothering you! Oh, you want a new high step do you? :p Hope your dream comes true! Funny, I married the life of the party, too. So very social! He’s good at dragging me along in his wake, although sometimes I dig my heels in. I love that website, BTW!

Shelly – Oh, so happy to have you back with us again! You were sooo missed! WAY TO GO!! 2nd is wonderful! Phooey on the race people for not giving goodies for 2nd place, too!!! Have fun with MIL and FIL! I’ll bet they are excited to have their DS home, as well as their DDIL. Have fun with your circuit!

Cathy – Oh that would be nice if you could get your Garmin to do the intervals. My HRM’s don’t do that. I’m glad you’re enjoying your freedom from grading piles!!

Dallas – Oh have fun on your date night! Sounds like fun! My first century bike ride I ended up with a group of older gentlemen and really made some great friends. I learned so much on that ride. How inspiring to hear the stores of other runners. And to really get behind the idea of running for such a great cause. I did the original BootCamp once through, then my kettlebell version – but I only did the kettlebell abs.

Sunny – Spinervals was fun. I’m starting to enjoy the ones that are more steady state now, and I think I’ll enjoy them more with the TT rotation. Oh sorry your workout turned out to be a disaster! That’s not fun!

I ended up doing the first hour of a Spinerval I tried and didn’t like. But I loved it today. It’s the Virtual Reality ride around Lake Placid and the first hour (yes, it’s another 3 hour one, but I just did 1 hour) is all down hill, so you’re basically in two gears the entire time. But that’s just what I needed today after yesterday’s sweatfest. I really enjoyed it, and can see using it again during my TT rotations. Got everything done and I’m ready to relax. Have a great night all!
