:::CHEETAHS:::Monday in the den

Linda..LOL about the DC M&M's! I liked Accel gel myself but seem to enjoy the chewy stuff more these days. I have been lucky to not have any stomach issues with distance runs, but it just takes some time to figure out what works, and you seem to have done that so don't question it, and stick to that!

Shelly...sounds like a nice 12 mile run this morning. Good luck with the interview. They better offer you enough money!! I was happy to get in the 12 miles yesterday and did it 22 sec per mile faster than last time on that course...:)

Cathy..I agree with you on the recipe showing as one thing instead of all of it! I will have to try that way of adding in a custom food...thanks...:D. I like the way you did that ub circuit. I will have to copy and save it!

Wendy...Good job with the iTread for 90 min. I think we are all in agreement about how the recipe shows up in our menus...silly. They seem to take a LONG time answering stuff or I would ask. I am steering more towards some Almond champagne when I hit my goal...

Good evening ladies!

Well, I hope that I'm working out of my funk. I actually felt like I got my second wind this afternoon so my fingers are crossed for a run (or other TBA workout) tomorrow...yay!

You ladies are all probably right on the money about the stress lately. While I don't *feel* it consciously it probably is starting to wear on me...but whatareyagonnadoaboutit? I'm determined to stop letting it dictate how I feel though. I swear you gals are what are keeping me sane (and laughing) right now. Gotta keep plugging along....

I've got my fingers crossed that the new girl will work out. She seems promising so far:D...didn't have to show her how to muck a stall or put a halter on a horse:rolleyes:.

Wendy - Hope you have a great night tonight...enjoy!!! Mmmmm, cheesburger, mmmmmm. You know I think you were sending burger vibes my way last night cuz I wanted one in the *worst* way last night lol. I'd say your workout today took care of that. I *know* you're going to kick a certain someone's bootay in that 5k!

Judy - Or should we call ya "Dancin' Queen":p? Glad you had a wonderful time at the reception. Sorry you had a rough start to the day...how many chippies is this now:eek:? I'm sure you'll get back on track quickly enough. That just sux about losing your trainer:(.

Christine - LMAO at your description of the closing ceremonies!!! I'm almost sorry I missed them;). Uggh, hate when I do that with the alarm clock! Isn't it funny that we still wake up right around the right time when that happens?

Karen - Glad you're getting some relief in the weather department. Enjoy those long runs! Oh, owchie on the blisters:(. I would DEFINITELY call basement cleaning a workout...you don't see me doing that one anytime soon;).

Carole - WTG on the wieght loss!!! Huge congrats! Your results have been amazing. Also, great job on the 22 sec/mile improvement!!!

Linda - I think I may be in the same boat as you when it comes to fuel during longer runs. The thought of gels or anything of the like just turns my stomach. I was toying with the idea of chopping up a granola/protein bar or having some trail mix with me during my half. Now I know the idea may not be that far-fetched. Hope you enjoyed your rest day.

Shelly - Sounds like you had an absolutely lovely run today:D! Hope the interview went well and they offer to pay you what you deserve! Wow, that was some, *ahem*, persistent aqua:eek:...eek! Glad it's a bit more soothing now. Thanks for the noggin knock love.

Cathy - Wow, fantastic workout today! Great to hear that you're feeling good after your long runs...that's terrific! You're too funny chica! So you and Wendy have me curious about "Ang's mouthwash"???

So now I'm starting to crash but that's okay. I'm hoping to get in some good long zzzzzzz's tonight and wake up ready to bang *something* out. Don't know what it's going to be yet...will wait to see what jumps out at me in the morning. Have a great night ladies:D!

Christine started the most perfect thread for me today over in the open forum. It is entited Dear so and so. Below is the tread that I posted. It pretty much gives you full clearance to say what you really feel to someone without them knowing. Mind you I have spent the enitre day at the local HR Block to fix somthing that ultimatly cannot be fixed but is now taken care of thanks to Visa. Thanks Christine for the tread. It was perfect timing.

Dear IRS,

Thank you so much for the money I am about to owe you from my taxes in 2006. I'm glad to know that you spend all your time picking on a family of 5 when there are many people in the world who never pays taxes or illegaly try to get out of doing so by lying. I'm glad to know that every bit of my stimilus ( or lack there of) check will go right back to you pieces of crap. I'm so gald that it took over two years to find the error and somehow a $200 error has now turned into a $1800 dollar in fines and intrest. Thank you so much for taking my families hard earned money and putting it into the nearest stadium and dowtown high rise not to mention a salary increase for those who found my error. Mind you the first error I have ever made in 19 years.. You are surely worth every bit of the money I am paying for your salary for catching an honest mislake.

Karen

Ok, Now I feel better. I actully just got this from the IRS this afternoon. I hurried up and got my copy of my taxes from 2006 and on my copy I transposed a 0 and a 2. So now what was a 200 mistake has turned into a $1835 fine and intrest for the two years it went unnoticed. I'm so ticked off not that they found the error but the timing of it. A year eighteen months even to spot the error. Give me a break. So now I owe all this money by the 24th of Sept or they will begin to add a 6% intrest per day to the total.:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

Seriously Cheetahs,
Could my luck be any worse people. Dh said at least no one is sick again. Very true but sitll pisses me off to no end. Why did it take so long. UGHHHHH.

Sorry in all my misery I forgot to say.

Congrats to Carole and her weight loss. You go girl. You'll be at your goal in no time.
