RE: ::: CHEETAHS ::: Goin' for post-holiday burn! (Wed....
okay, now it's time for personals...
cathy-heck yeah, the stores are open!!! i was right there waiting for macy's to open at 6 am!!! funny you watched "a christmas story" too. i love that movie! GET THAT AIRBORNE, girl!!! you have a big vacay planned. i also think it's probably not a good idea to do legs today. since you're not feeling well, take a rest day. you DON'T want to be sick for tomorrow.
wendi-i hadn't caught up on yesterday's posts but when i did and saw cathy's mallet smiley i laughed out loud!!! i hope you have a short day at work today. definitely a good idea to give your blisters one more day to heal. try that moleskin.
lori-sorry about the TM but it sounds like you made out very well! enjoy your 3 days off!
judy-yes, i am taking two regular doses of alieve. an orthopedist told me that when i have a pain like that, it's okay to take two. hopefully, it will start to feel better. i don't know what i'll do with all this time off and no cardio!
! i will probably do kickboxing with just upper body stuff. we'll see. sorry about your run today. i know we have all had that happen. one time, i had no choice but to go into the woods and hope no one saw me! still, you ran EIGHT miles!
sunny-i agree with you about our cyber friends. it's hard to conceive that us cheetahs haven't met. i feel so close to everyone and the cards made it even better!
wendy-woo-hoo on the ipod. just think of all the grace you can fit on there!!!
carole-i hope your work day is short and you are able to get home early and relax. glad christmas at mom's was a good time.
christine-the photos you posted yesterday were GREAT! especially the one of jimmy!!! have a great time in napa and give us all the details when you get back.
shelly-what a great gift from DH. i have a snub-nosed 356 by my bed for protection but there is absolutely NO WAY i could run with it. it's so heavy!!! i would love the gun you got. then, maybe i would start running in the early morning again. i used to run with baloo (he's big and black and would bark if someone came up to me in a menacingly way) but now that i am running longer distances and faster (and he is getting up there), i no longer take him. i miss my running buddy. anyway, i think a small 22 is great! i'm jealous!
carla-welcome. i think these are the most amazing bunch of women. truly amazing. not just in their running accomplishments but as people. coming here ALWAYS makes me smile.
