Challengers - Week of Nov.2

Morning

Today is 4ds LIS/Shoulders,calves and core. Im looking forward to it because i was extremely irritated at my sons pre-k teacher yesterday:mad: then my MIL pissed me off...so i need some stress relief before i strangle somebody;) My TOTM is near so im sure thats why i was so easly ticked off yesterday:eek:.

I didn't workout last night I didn't sleep well the nite before so I was really tired and my back hurt. This morning I did Jillian Michaels Ultimatum 2010 it was a circuit only did it once ran out of time.

Stats:

11 in the zone
172 min hr
185 max hr
207 cals burned

Tonite is 4ds leg L&G floor work and 4ds calf work.
 
Hey girls, finished my workout. I think im getting sick, my energy was lacking but i pushed through it and burned 500 cals. Ive got sinus pressure,ugh.

Roxie-How did you like that Jillian workout? Ive got 30day shred and i use it sometimes...

I just had lunch and my stomach is so full, i couldn't finish it. Ate a big salad with a grilled chicken open face sandwich(gotta save carbs for a fiber one bar later...yum:eek:) and it was all only 350 cals.

I got my vitamins back in my system and i think that was the cause of my hunger last week, i seem to be staying full now..weird. I thought vitamins made you hungry?:confused: who knows:rolleyes:

Amelia-it definetly is a workout to start you do alot of running and I hate to run. I am not sure how many times I was suppose to do the circuit but I ran out of time.

Thanks for asking how my Drs appt went. Shes (My GP) has given me referrals to go and have everything checked out. She said she didn't know why i was gaining weight and would think it may be my thyroid. But she really hasn't a clue. so, all I have to do now, is find a time to get those tests done.

Roxie - try not to get too stressed. Im sorry your hubby isn't being succesful in the "quit". Some people just can't quit - because they really deep down don't want to. Hang in there

Jean - C'MON!! UP AND AT "EM!! You've lost some weight, keep it off and get exercising

I went for a 51 min run today (I thought I would die) And I was disappointed to learn I only burnt off 435 calories. :( For the amount of pain I was in and the amount of huffin and puffin I was doin' I thought I burnt off a days worth of cals.;)

Tonite for me will be the shoulder work and cardio and abs from the other night and then tomarrow I need to make up the leg work and do bis and tris. My legs are killing me from doing Jillian yesterday. She has you warm up by running around and island and you have to keep the pace just right or a red arrow shows up telling you to speed up did that for 10 min and that is the most running I have done in years.

Andrea-keep us up to date on the tests. I have been reading Jillians new book about our metabolism and it is scaring the daylights out of me. Its about how our hormones become affected by whats in our foods and water and that is what throws our metabolism out of wack.

Hi everyone.

Great jobs on the work outs, Ladies. Well today was my first "post shingles" weight workout. And me being the dummy that I am thought I would just jump right back into STS. I did lower the weights a bit, but pushed through disc 22 (chest, shoulders and tris). My arms are shaking. Altough it was rough, I'm glad I did jump back in finally. Tomorrow I will probably have regrets as the doms set in, LOL. Now to just get back on track and stay there.

Amelia: are you having fun with the 4DS rotation?

Andrea: good luck with the blood work. Make sure they check your Vit. D. That can affect your moods and energy level as well as weight.

Roxie: How does Jillian know what your doing? Is it a Wii fit DVD?

Yesterday was a busy day with a lot of driving around. Yesterday morning I did 1/2 of Disc 2(back & tris) and 1/2 of Disc 3 (legs) of STS. This morning I did KPC intensity drills through combo 2 (while wearing 1lb gloves), BC Original DVD KB cardio only,KPC abs and stretch. I then took the puppy for a walk. All in all I burned 313cals. I am happy with this.:)

Okay, off to the grocery store and the grain feed place to buy some dog food. I need to switch her food to adult dog food. I've tried this once and she had very,very loose stools. I had to go back to the puppy food and now we are ready to try a different adult food. Wish me luck.
 
Elaine, here's what works for us when we have had to switch dog foods. Do it gradually. Start by missing 3/4 of previous food with 1/4 of new food. If she doesn't have loose stools continue by over the next couple of days, adding more new and less old. Within a week you are at 100% of new food.

I havn't worked out what my workout is going to be today. Hmmmmm thinking.
 
Jean, thanks for the tip. We did that the first time and she just seemed to have loose stools and need to pee alot!! Once we gradually switched her back to her puppy food she was fine. I think it was that food. My sister suggested the food she uses and to use lamb base(which is what her puppy food is). I think we will go a little slower at the switch and watch her closely.

I have been at home all day with a migraine went to the dr. and she gave me a shot. Now to your question everything you do registers on the wii remote it logs into the game. You get points for doing the workouts right.
 
Good morning Ladies! Im enjoying my coffee and some quiet time before my monkeys get up..

Im not sure what im doing today? The rotation calls for a cardio/off day. TOM finally started for me and thankgoodness, i had another bad day yesterday. :( i had a couple of crying episodes:eek: But i managed to stay on my calorie program. (even though i went to the kids pumpkin pals more than once to grab a bite, but would end up putting them back..,yay me)

Roxie-hugs...so sorry you had to deal with a migrain:( So that Jillian Micheals workout is for the nintendo wii...i was confused yesterday, thought it was a dvd workout:rolleyes:. I will have to google it and read some more about it. My DH told me about it also...

Andrea-well, the i can't be bothereds aren't gone yet but I have to put on a happy face today...its saturday and my babies are home so i willl be bothered,LOL. What workout did you decide on? Sorry you have to work all weekend.

Elaine-Mygoodness you had a good workout yesterday...wtg!!! I hope your doggy adjust well to the new food.

Headache not as bad today. I made up Tuesdays workouts and tonite I will do todays workouts bis and tris. Not going to do legs still sore from Jillians run. I did Basic Step because I didn't want to aggravate my head so kept it low impact today.

Good morning Ladies.

I got up and did disc 23 of STS which is legs. I only did 2 rounds of each tri-set, but it was still a challenging workout for me since I'm just starting back with the lifting. Hopefully I won't be as sore as I was yesterday. My tris and shoulders kept screaming at me. At least its a good kind of pain.

Hey to everyone! My diet was a disaster yesterday:confused:, i weighed yesterday morning before the disaster happened and i was down .6 since my last WI so thats refreshing;). Atleast its going in the right direction,lol.

Im going to try my hardest to stick to the cals today...my DH will be home the next four days and he always want to go out to eat somewhere...sigh. I will have to plan ahead:)

bbl to report my cal burn..i hope i covers half of the crap i ate yesterday;) Im doing lowmax as much as possible...
 
ok, my workout is done, i really need to get that dvd. Did LM about 40mins...burned 360. my legs were burning,had fun!
