Cathe's weight vest ROCKS

I really wish I never bought the go fit weighted vest and waited for Cathe's vest. It is awesome! It fits like a glove and feels so comfortable on unlike the bulky go fit vest I had to have months ago. Oh well...at least I have Cathe's vest now. I highly recommend it to anyone on the fence.

Is it easy to take the weights out of it to adjust the poundage? I have one that I got from Wal Mart and it's such a pain to take the bags out. I just leave it at 10# because I can't stand messing with it.

Debbie - I can't speak for Cathe's weighted vest but over on the STS forum I thought I saw it was not an adjustable vest.

From a discussion Kathryn & LLP had talked about a weighted vest from ironwearfitness , how it's machine washable, adjustable and comfortable.

I ended up ordering my weighted vest from IronwearFitness along with 2 extra weight kits. I hoping to have it delivered soon.

How to use weighted vest

Just curious how people are using their weighted vests--

I'm thinking I'll try mine during the leg workout of Slow & Heavy, because I just can't lift 50 lbs on my shoulders using a barbell.

I'm also thinking about using it for leg workouts: Butts and Guts, Legs and Glutes, and Gym Style Legs.

How do others use it? For any cardio workouts or would that be too much on the joints?

I ordered Cathe's vest and am waiting for the delivery.

I've used my vest for walking and riding my elliptical.
I was going to use it for my circuit workouts until I saw Kathryn posted a caution against using it with high impact cardio. I took her advice because it makes sense. My circuit workouts have interval cardio with jumping jacks etc. The added stress to your knees and feet can't be good.

I just got my new Cathe vest last week and I.LOVE.IT!!!! It's so comfortable! I have another weighted vest that I never used because it was so cumbersome, bulky, and uncomfortable. Cathe's fits like a glove and I actually forget I have it on! I wore it while I did B&G on Saturday and it was absolutely perfect! I love, love, love it. I'm not interested in having a heavier vest so the 10 lbs is perfect for me. It may not be right for those who want a heavier vest, though.

I adore this piece of equipment. What a fabulous purchase!!!!
