Cathe's floor work for legs?

My knee has been bothering me for the last week. Although it's feeling better but can still feel it's not 100%. I feel my left knee funny when I bend my leg at a 90 degree angle. I did meso 2 legs last wednesday and I started to feel it after the workout. I've been icing it and just trying not to make it worse. I also havent been doing any hard impact cardio but still sticking with my upper body work. Do you think I should do cathe's floor work from the gs series, pyrmaids, L&G? I would hate not to do anything for legs...

As I always say "Not an expert here" but in my experience when I have had knee problems that is exactly what I have done. No high impact, sometimes doing the step w/o the step & any lower body work is floor work depending on the work of course. Those things with the ball where you pull it in are out for me when the knee is acting up. I also do pilates lower body. Of course not sure what kind of knee pain you are having but that is whatI have done. Hope it feels better soon for you!

Oh thank you so much for your response. I dont have any pain when I walk or even jog lightly on the treadmill. It only feels funny when I bend my left knee at a 90 degree angle. I just dont want to lose the muscle that I have build doing meso 2.

Definitely!! I have the same problem and that's what I do. Butts and Gutts has really good floorwork, too. As a matter of fact, when I was going to physical therapy for my knees, all of the exercises the PT gave me to do are in the B&G floorwork. It really works all of the muscles that stabilize the knee. Make sure you are doing adequate stretching, as well. Knee problems can be worsened by tight tendons.

Hi NY25 thanks for answering. I was also wondering if I did the floor work 2-3 a week for a week or 2 until I feel good again would it be enough to sustain the muscle that I already have. How many times a week did you do it?
