Hi Cathe,
I have been including Imax and Imax 2, along with steady-state cardio sessions into my weekly cardio workouts, for a total of 6 days of cardio. I have been doing this for about 5 months now. I actually lost quite a bit of weight (fat loss) since I have started this routine. I do not want to lose any more weight (I think I may have lost a bit too much weight), but am concerned if I stop interval training, that I will lose all that I have achieved thus far and gain back everything I lost. I have attained so much through this type of training, both mentally and physically. It is very rewarding. However, I do not want to lose any more weight. What would you suggest?
I was thinking of cutting down to 1 Imax per week instead of 2. If you agree, do you recommend that I go back to doing 2 Imax workouts per week again, say in like 6-8 weeks or so? And then back to 1 in another 6-8 weeks? Or, should I only do 2 if I am looking to reduce more body fat?
What do you think? Any suggestions you could pass along, I would greatly appreciate.
Thanks in advance.
