Cathe makes me hungry!

Since doing Cathe's workouts more regularly, I've noticed that I've become ravenously hungry, so much so that I'm eating more junk food than usual. Perhaps with doing harder workouts, I need to up my calories (of course with healthier foods)? Right now I'm working on maintaining my weight, so with that in mind, what is your advice? Thanks!

im hungry all the time and have actually gained weight since i started working out with her, and it ain't lean muscle weight

i start each day determenied to stick to a certain # of calories and by night ive blown it, but never by too far outside my maintenance range


its weird to realize that i am fat AND really strong muscular and in the best cardio vascular shape i could ever imagine, if i could only stop eating :(

I normally eat more if I do a lot of high intense cardio.

Also, my 17 yo son just started using Cathe Gym Style workouts about 2 weeks ago. He said he has been eating a ton and has actually gained 5 pounds in the last 2 weeks.
 
Increasing calories (of course, as you say, with healthy foods) may be a good idea, especially if you are doing weight workouts.

Timing of meals might also help. Eatiing something about 1/2 hour to an hour before working out, and having a protein/carbohydrate "recovery" snack or beverage after workouts will help your body get the nutrients when it needs them, so maybe you won't be as hungry at other times.
