Cathe Elevated Project Update - Dec 28, 2025

Let's hope it's true in this instance
If you mean the waiting for LMR2E, I feel confident, based on the exciting previewes, that it is true and worth the waiting:)!.
What makes Cathe's workouts different and superior to others is her insistance on having combined movements involving large amounts of muscles in most of the exercises, that is, her exercises are not, generally, classic. This can be a good reason, it takes time to put together and coreograph such exercises for us to follow!
I loved what i watched, therefore i'm anxious waiting for that good thing:D!

I was disappointed last year. But I have found more use for the series than I expected. I like the yoga and Pilates and mobility. I’m using them.
From what I have seen, this looks “elevated” so I am really looking forward to seeing it. And honestly, last year was not the norm. Typically I am very happy with the workouts I have ordered on a pre-sale.
Do I wish she’d provide a more realistic timeline during pre-sales? Yes I do. It’s frustrating for me to plan on late summer and be waiting into winter. I am now into a STS rotation, so when LMR2 is released, it will be on the shelf until the STS rotation is done. And, again, to be up front, I doubled up on Meso 2 so that partly why I am not ready for a new rotation. Looking forward to hearing from all of you when LMR2 comes out.

I'm not planning to use LMR2 right away either. I'll be throwing bits & pieces into my already planned rotations. I've been thinking about Cathe's presales. It doesn't make much sense to me for her to continue them if she doesn't offer dvds anymore. With the discounts offered on her streaming services, I think she'll be focused on that content. And of course offer downloads for those who don't want to or can't yet stream. In a way, it's a relief. I think she'll be able to offer polished workouts for On-Demand and downloads more regularly this way too because she won't have to have wait on the replicator for dvds.

The same here! Already started working out STS 2.0 12 week rotation, enjoying the challenge and intend to take it to the end! Depending on the real gains, either go back to Xtrain for better results or try the new LMR2E with the extra bonus workouts (aka strength workouts) rotation. BTW, was lucky discovering the loss of Xtrain's Leg DVD (probably during moving!) in time so that I could download it with the sale price!

This.

I'm jaded, though, from having worked with far too many sales people. Overpromising to get their money ASAP is par for the course.

Yes, I trust we'll get our beautifully-orchestrated and cultivated series. It's just not something for me to actually make plans around until I have the DVDs in my hands. I did appreciate taking advantage of the special pre-sale price, though, and I am actually pretty happy with the bonus workouts she put out.

My current 8-week rotation is going to end in a couple of weeks. I foresee myself setting up another 4- to 6-week rotation to have on hand if there's no shipping announcement by the end of this coming week.

Whatever rotation I set up, it'll be one that's not totally dependent upon strict adherence. I'm a sucker for brand new stuff - keeps me interested - so I do see myself halting whatever rotation I'm in the middle of so I can play with my new toys. :)

Funny, I'm jaded now too. I used to really look forward to a new Cathe series and the corresponding Cathe-designed rotations. But after the disappointment last year, I'm not going to risk more disappointment.

So I'm going to just add the new workouts into my current rotation here and there. I'll add one cardio in a week. The other "fusion" workouts will be delegated to my Saturday "other" days which I don't really consider to be "work" , but still important to a well-rounded rotation. My Saturdays are longer yoga, stretching, mobility, balance - things other than weight training and cardio (which I schedule for M-F). I'll schedule the LMRE weight-lifting for an active recovery or back-off week. I'm kinda happy with this concept.

I won't be dependent on the User Guide either. The User Guide usually doesn't come out until the workouts get uploaded to On-Demand and those 4 bonus downloads took forever to get there. So it may take quite a long time to see the Cathe-designed rotations this time around.

This is what I've come up with for my fill-in rotation for now. I was noticing after doing a lot of predominately heavy strength work that I was starting to miss doing occasional strength endurance.

Also had an "uh oh!" moment when I recently did some lower body floor work that some of those muscles were getting neglected, so I've included a couple days to make sure I'm adding in floor-work, too.

This rotation also doesn't skimp on cardio, given there are dedicated cardio days each week, along with the cardio one gets from doing full-body and lower-body strength workouts.

They're all general categories (not actual workout titles, per-se), so I'll be filling in actual workout titles when I start putting this in my calendar.

And I can do a rinse-and-repeat of this rotation as needed.

Anyway, sharing if anyone's looking for something similar. (And I "start" my workout weeks on Wednesdays with Tuesdays as my dedicated rest days - feel free to align the rotation to your own schedule.)

@Kellyro77
Thanks for sharing your rotation!

I usually try to have 2 cardio days with core and extended stretch days per week. But I like how you added a metabolic day. I may consider this for one of my cardio days since they have a cardio effect. I sometimes slip them in as a TB. We have lots of metabolic workouts since many of Cathe's Lives are more metabolic than true strength. And they're low impact, usually, so a good sub for a cardio day.

As an aside: I haven't yet done the Metabolic TB bonus download (I have it schedule for later this month). My sis said she didn't really consider it a metabolic along the lines of LITE & ICE Metabolic workouts, or a PHA or even many TB workouts.. She thought the title was misleading as she didn't think it was fast enough pace to be metabolic. Thoughts?

Hmmm - it's got a lot of compound moves and although heavy, she keeps the pace at a pretty good clip with very brief rests between exercises so it definitely has a metabolic cardio effect for me.

Your sis may be in better shape than me - but ask her about them burpees... ;)

I guess if one's only experience with Cathe's metabolic workouts is all her previous ones which are more akin to lighter endurance-type workouts, then I could see how this heavier one would seem like it's not quite in the same category. But for me, at least, so long as I select heavy weights, it fits the bill.

I like the variety it adds to my library of metabolic workouts.

Thanks for your input. But, yeah, she's in great shape! Maybe that's it. She said she lifted Cathe's suggested weights and didn't feel rushed nor breathy. She liked the workout as a TB workout, just not metabolic. And while she doesn't care for burpees, she does them if they're in a workout. (We got Cathe's boxing gloves from Santa - now she really likes them in Gloved Up and Sweaty, as it makes it easier on the arthritic hands with the gloves. In fact she immediately put them on and went for a few burpees on Christmas morning lol. Me - I can leave them any which way lol). I'm looking forward to doing it in a few weeks. We purchased a lot of CL in the 50% off sale, so we have plenty of new workouts to try.

Another aside, I'm re-visiting my rotations and subbing in a few Metabolics for cardio a couple of times a month based on your above rotation. I like the variety. Thanks!

Thanks @Kellyro77 for sharing your rotation. I like your idea of cardio and core day despite the fact that there are many other options out there. Cardio + core or Upper body + Core feel optimal to me:):cool:

Good rotation:)

Yes metabolic being considered as cardio is a neat thought..... Spot on!
It is the best option for those who do not need or like a depleted cardio session. A pursuit of self depletion to counteract what is called by some as a "bulk" has always been a myth:rolleyes:

I hear you;);), indeed, mentionning those burpees. I also hear you regarding the heart rate. Each their own-claimed rate;) according to the weigth selection. I trust Cathe layering her content for a seamlessly transition from one move to an other while instructing with music.

Same here, I am happily waiting ignoring the politics, pointless discussions and speculations.

I do not make plan before receiving the workout:rolleyes:
I am pretty much a rotation cathlete for a specific goal or purpose. So I need to grasp the purpose of the system before incorporating it into my schedule accordlingly;):):). Well for this upcoming LMR2 I already know since it is the same purpose as the previous series.

Enjoy your rotation.;)

I’m sure last year’s let down has affected my enthusiasm this year as well. In the fall I felt more excited after seeing the video clips, and I agree with Kellyro77 that we will get a series that impresses us, that is well planned and beautifully presented. (I think last year’s LMR is a beautiful series, just doesn’t challenge me.). Yet. . . I’m not chomping at the bit. Which is new for me. I’m not disrupting my STS rotation for an unknown. If I feel extending the STS work into a five month rotation is my best move, I’ll do that. Plus I have purchased LIVEs so I have new toys. She could release it in March, that’s how I feel.

Doubling meso 2☺️☺️☺️
What beast has come into you lol
I am limited in emoji here.
You are right no interruption. Enjoy STS

For anyone who likes this rotation layout, I have a MacBook Air and was able to just click on it and drag it into an open blank Pages.

I sure hope the series is released and available OnDemand before March ! On August 30th, I enrolled in a six-month OnDemand subscription so that I could have access to the four bonuses, and then, of course, the new LMR elevated. I wanted to experience the new series while I have the OnDemand subscription. It expires on February 28th. Geez, I hope I can workout to the new series before the end of February.

These 2 sentences from Chris' update give us a clue as to when the next update will be:
We will update you further once the DVDs are finished being replicated

We know you’re anxious for solid shipping dates, and we will get that info to you as soon as we know that the completed DVDs are on their way to New Jersey!
So once the dvds are on their way to Four Seasons Gym, we should get an update. On-Demand subscribers often get them last, sorry to say. You could email customer service with your concerns ... maybe you could work out an extension of your subscription. Hope it works out for you.

ETA: I hope my comments didn’t imply to you that these won't be available until March. We have no idea when they'll be available until Chris' next update. So watch for that, & if it's later than you hoped or expected, contact customer service with your concerns.

I’m sure you will. I was saying when I would be free to use them if I did a second meso #3 STS rotation. Nothing to do with anything Cathe.com has indicated.
