Cat idiosyncrasies

My cat doesn't have to do a thing to endear herself to me. I LOVE her even when she is being a Miss. Priss. LOL! Yep, she's got me wrapped around her finger....

So do about half dozen other kitties in my neighborhood. I am the biggest sucker for cats, I tell ya. My latest "fav" is a cat I call "Tuxedo". He is black and while like a tuxedo. Very cool looking, but old, and very tomboyish. He is always coming around with a new scrape or wound. Makes me sad cuz those are the ones that end up getting hit by the cars. But, I can't take him in....all these cats belong to other people. They just come to my house for their fifth (don't we know it) meal of the day!! My indoor kitty (we call her Goober, her name is Blackie) would never have another cat! She gets so jeoulous when we talk to the others!

I have 4 cats. The oldest one (about 9 y/o), a long-haired black cat named Crazy because he literally is. He is also an outdoor cat. Around Halloween, we try to keep him in for obvious reasons but he goes nuts. He will meow & hiss & throw himself around until he gets out. When you go up to the door, he wiil put both paws around the doorknob to "help" you out. When I walk Chico, my chihuahua, Crazy walks with us the whole way - even if its a 30"walk.

My favorite is Bobble. I named her that 'cause she looks like one of those bobble toys w/ the big head & small body. She loves to sleep next to me at night even though my Chico does his best to run her off. She also love to play fetch. She has her toy balls that she will bring to you so you can play. Once my DH was at the kitchen table signing a contract w/ a painter & here she comes with the ball insisting on playing fetch. I think she was trying to show off. She also sleeps under the covers, which is weird for a cat.

Liam is a Siamese that we rescued from a locked up abandoned house. He loves to snuggle up to DH. Galiano is a tuxedo cat I found down the street from the hospital I used to work at. Traffic was bad around there & I couldn't leave her. She is so georgeous now, a very healthy cat.
