Has anyone ever tried this approach? I know it was advocated by Jay Robb a number of years ago and I've about it here and there.
I am carb-sensitive and I KNOW when I add in carbs I tend to gain pounds. I've monitored my body and my weight for years and I know what I can and cannot tolerate, so it's not bout WHAT to eat for me - it's about when. Let me add that I've tried carb-cycling, which did NOT work for me.
This is an approach that I've never tried, but it was mentioned again in Beverly International's "No Nonsense" publication I just received and my trainer suggested it might be a way for me to go. It's a strict monitoring of healthy carbs, which are limited a lot, but then 2 or 3 evenings per week your last meal is carb based (again - healthy carbs, so think brown rice, Ezekiel bread, sweet potato - this kind of stuff.)
I'm just wondering if any of you have ever tried this approach and what results you may have seen? TIA
