Today was C&W just the step portion and abs section, and legs from Cathe's one part a day rotation. I will be going to Chucky cheese today with my son amd my niece, that should be a good time

Good morning,

Back to work this morning after being off yesterday. It was a gorgeous day but went way too fast!

No workout again for me today, still resting that ankle. It was still a bit sore and stiff this morning but looked less puffy. Sooooo frustrating!

What do you guys think...if it's not sore by Monday, try walking, biking or lifting weights? I want to do SOMETHING but I don't want to make it worse. I know even if it feels find, sometimes it's not.

Thea-I would rest it until it doesn't hurt at all. But there's no reason you can't do floor work and upper body and abs.

Jefi-good luck keeping sane at CC lol. Man I hate that place now that my kids are too old for it. I always left there with a headache!

I have to register my son for school today. He is adhd and autistic, and goes to a special school in Elkhorn (Lakeland School). It's a great school, but means more time off of work today. I work from home and am lucky to have a flexible schedule; I can work when I want to to make up for being gone during the day. But I'd rather take that away from my desk time for my workout!

I'm set to do Cardio Coach Volume 5 today. Do any of you use CC? I LOVE it! It got me to love my elliptical and treadmill again, after avoiding them out of boredom. I haven't done V5 yet and I'm kind of nervous. It's supposed to the be the hardest one yet and the longest, at an hour.

Today is one of Cathe's mish-moshes for the Aug05 rotation:

100 toe touches, 100 burpees (squat thrusts), jog in place for 5 minutes, 100 jumping jacks, 100 alternating front lunges, low pulsing hover squats for 2 minutes, jump rope for 5 minutes, 50 push ups, 400 sit ups REPEAT x( Should be interesting.

Jedi, CC is a crazy place, but the kids really love it don't they!

Thea, take care and only do what you think your ankle can handle. Upper body shouldn't be a problem.

Pedmom, we registered our oldest for school, only $79. Didn't pay for lunch yet, but they waved the music fee of $60. Then DH went and bought their school supplies. Cha Ching!!! And after my workout I will be taking them to get some clothes. Yipee!! :-(

For the month of August I am now broke! :D

Hi everybody,
I haven't worked out yet today but am planning to do something after work. I haven't decided what I'm in the mood for yet. I'm achy from yesterday's Boot Camp! Anyway, I think that committing to a rotation will help me get out of my current funk — when I have too many choices and haven't planned ahead, I tend to just not do anything. So I'll start getting back into the swing of things; I hope that my new Cathe DVDs arrive soon so I can get started on a new schedule.

Thea - Yeah, I think upper body should be okay. Use your best judgement.

Jedi - My kids bring up CC from time to time but I've managed to successfully avoid the place for a few years now. Maybe it's changed but the last time I went it was a madhouse!

Laurie - Cha ching is right! I've been procrastinating getting the supplies. Those school supply lists drive me crazy (e.g. 12 folders, pocket, w/fasteners, laminated: 2 blue, 2 green, 2 purple, 2 red, 2 yellow, 2 other). If I can't find purple laminated folders does that make me a bad Mom! x(

Ellen - I like following a rotation because it pushes me to work harder on those days I could easily slough off! ha ha

I did Hardcore Extreme Blast & Legs this morning. It was tough but I was happy to see the KM blast was not in there twice like I thought. Instead it was split up so half was done after intervals 5-7 of Imax3 and the rest after intervals 8-10. Maybe you guys already knew that but that's what I thought when I looked at the chapters initially.

Still debating what to do next week. I miss working my upper body! This rotation focuses on cardio more than weights so I feel like I need to do some pushups or something tonight.

Hey All! Sorry I haven't posted in awhile. Things have been busy around here lately. Actually my wonderful DD decided to go down to one nap a day now, so now I only get on half as much as I used to!! Oh well!
Today I am doing LBP and a nice bike-ride. I have been LOVING the weather lately. Me and hubby and DD have been going for nice bike rides every night this week.
