Hi! I am off work today (yay!) and decided to take a rest day. I am throwing those in where I think I need to as my ankle heals. It is still a little sore, but the workouts don't seem to make it any worse as long as I am careful!

I take it the Packers lost last night? They were pretty far behind when I went to bed. Not a good season so far....

I went to see the movie Serenity last night--for any who are interested it is a spin off from the tv series Firefly. It was pretty good.

Jedi, glad to have you back! I've been wondering where you have been! Good for you for revisiting your goals, you can get back on track, I know you can!

Thea, I'm glad to hear that your ankle is improving. Rest days are always good :) The Packers did lose. I didn't watch the game, other than the replay they kept showing of one of the players (I can't remember his name) getting hit helmet-to-helmet. It was awful... they took him off the field strapped to a stretcher with his neck stabilized. Very scary.

This morning I did CTX Step and Intervals warmup and cardio, then S&H legs and shoulders. I didn't have too much trouble getting up today, which was a nice change! I'm thinking about signing up for ediets again. I used it a few years ago with some success, and I feel like I need some sort of discipline to help get my eating under control. It's easier to have it decide for me what I should eat, since I'm not currently making good decisions myself. I need to get back into better habits.

Morning BB's,

Yesterday was very busy, and I still have a pile of work to do. Add to that the server that has our program on it has been so slow today. Now I can't even get on it. Something must have bombed at HQ.

Today is GS Legs Standing and CTX Kickbox cardio only.

Thea - Rest days are a good thing.;-)

Laurie - I want to hear more about Disney! What was the best part of your trip? Did you go to any special shows or eat at any nice restaurants?

Ellen - I've used fitday.com to track my food but I don't have the time or discipline to enter it each day. I just write it down in a little notebook and can tell by reviewing it how I'm doing. It's pretty obvious if I'm not getting enough protein or fruits and veggies. Carbs I do wonderful on - both good and bad! x(

Marie - My husband has really ambitious plans for remodeling. He's already talking about staining doors for the downstairs before winter plus a whole bunch of other things. Aye, yiy yiy! We just did a massive remodel upstairs this spring. I was hoping to do just a few things to finish off the upstairs and then wait until spring for the downstairs! My workout space is downstairs so I'm sure my workouts will be affected, too. Guess I'll have to do more jogging...

Speaking of which, I jogged 5 miles this morning. The weather was a little warm - even at 5:30 a.m. Next time I go will probably have to bundle up a bit.

Hello BB
Today was LowMax (step portion only) and PS all upper body....and now I am fried. I like the warm weather but I am ready for fall and the cooler temps (fall is my favorite time of the year).

Thea-I am glad that your ankle is on the mend. I have had strep throat and some GI distress in the past week and it is just not any fun.

I hope all is well with all BB.
 
Hi everyone!

Thea: Yep, the Packers lost, but it looked like they would make a come back, but they didn't. It was a close game though.

I did Power Max today. Haven't done this one in awhile. I use to love PM, but I think I've outgrown the choreography. I found myself getting bored. Oh well! I'm sore today though from BC yesterday! I thought I was getting in shape after my hiatis, but I guess I have more work to do.:-(
