Good Morning!

Forget we started May yesterday. This morning was 5 miles on the elliptical with the STS Extended stretch. Always feel good after that long stretch.

Temps are supposed to get into the 60's today. :)

Todays workout was MP Overload workout B & burnout plus 20 min on the elliptical. Overload is right.... OMG.
 
Oh my. The fact that it was May totally slipped my mind .

This dreary weather is getting to me. Today was elliptical cardio for 30 minutes. I have an early meeting at a different location so I have to leave home 45 minutes early.

I'm with you on the dreary weather. Tomorrow is supposed to be pretty decent by me. Too bad I'll be stuck inside all day at work.

Today was 5 miles on the elliptical for me. Followed by the STS Extended Stretch.

I know, I can't believe it's May already.

This morning was MP Overload workout C.. OMG... There are some exercises in overload that I do not like cause it's hard on my low back. You do a shoulder press, squat, shoulder press while squatting. Shoulder press in that squat position is hard on my low back. What I decided to do was take my stability ball and do wall squats with the shoulder presses. It's still hard but at least gentler on my low back.

Today is supposed to be in the 70's . Can't wait. Tomorrow kind of crappy again. Darn weather.

My Saturday workout was 40 minutes of elliptical cardio followed by 50 squats and abs.

The sun is in and out today. Hoping for some consistent warm weather.

Good Morning!

Saturday I didn't have class so I was missing kickboxing so I did Rock'em Sock'em from ICE. Then I met my other 3 sisters and we did a 2 mile walk for Cancer for facility that treated my sister a couple of years ago. In the afternoon I helped DH with spring clean up at No No's restaurant. My arms and back were so sore from trimming and racking. Then we had to go back Sunday morning early and finish up before she opened up at 11:30. We were there at 8 and finished up at 10. In the afternoon we visited with DH's parents and then had a cookout with my family last night.

This morning started week 2 of Metabolic Prime Overload. Had to cut 5 min off of my elliptical this morning, had a bit of hard time getting myself going this morning.

Today was elliptical cardio followed by 60 squats and 60 variety of sit ups.

I overslept this morning but squeezed in 30 minutes of elliptical cardio and 65 squats and variety of Core. Short but good workout.

I tell you, you are just rocking on those squats. Another 65 today. You go girl. Do you do them with weights or without or combination.

This morning was MP Overload workout B. In this one he really works the shoulders... holy man. Did the burnout session followed by 20 min on the elliptical.

Another dreary day. Thankful though that we're not having that nasty weather that other areas are having.

Good Morning!

Today was 5 miles on the elliptical and STS Ext Stretch. Feel tired today. Wanted to stay in bed this morning but I didn't.

Another foggy morning. It's supposed to warm up today close to 70. Weekend more on the cool side.. mid 50's.
 
I woke up with a cramp in my right calf yesterday. Needless to say I didn't workout.

Just finished 40 minutes of elliptical cardio followed by 70 squats and 70 variety of Core. I am using two 10 pounds dumbells for my squats.

We have had 16 straight days of rain. Unbelievable. Monday is supposed to be sunny and I am looking forward to it.

70 squats w/10# db... that's awesome!!

16 days of rain.. yuck!! Sun these days has been pretty scarce it seems. Had sun this morning coming into work but I think they said it was suppose to rain later in the day. The weekend is only going to be in the mid 50's.

This morning finished week 2 of MP Overload, did the burnout, and finished with 20 min on the elliptical and stretching.

I'm so glad it's Friday, it's been a very long week. Work continues to be very stressful.

Saturday workout was elliptical cardio. Sons team got to play on a minor league field and they announced their names when players stepped up to the plate. Great experience for the kids. Game was a tie 5-5.

It was so windy and cold on the field for the Sunday double header. DS team won both games against their rival. We beat them in the scrimmage before the season and they beat us in the game a few weeks ago so it was definitely sweet yesterday.

Today was chest, shoulders and Triceps for Meso 2. I have a physical in three weeks but I may try to visit the doctor before then about my shoulder.

What an amazing experience for the kids to step out on a minor league field and have their names announced. Very cool!! They had good games over the weekend.

The weather by me on Saturday was so strange. We actually had snow. It didn't stay on the ground but it was snowing. Mother nature is very confused. A very cool weekend. Good thing all the stuff I was doing was indoors.

Saturday was my Tabata Bootcamp class. It was the last session and I only had 1 person show up. Very disappointing. I only have 2 people signed up for the next 6 week session. I need min of 4 people to hold the class. Not sure it's going to survive the summer. It's looking like my kickboxing class will pick up again on the 23rd, which will be good. Saturday afternoon and Sunday was housework between my parents house and mine. It was actually an exhausting weekend. I didn't get to sit down and rest until 7pm last night.

This morning I started week 3 of Metabolic Prime Overload. Did workout A, the burnout and 20 min on the elliptical.

Weather this week is supposed to be better. So far the weekend looks pretty good. Hope it stays that way because I have plans to do a bunch of yard work.
 
I actually called the doctor and went in this morning. She should call me soon to discuss the xray. She prescribed some medicine and have a pending referral for me to get a shot depending on the outcome of the xray. I am staying home tomorrow also. It is difficult using the arm for basic things.

If it's difficult using it for basic things, its good that you went into the doc. Let me know what you find out about the xrays.

Had a very long bad day at work yesterday. This morning did 5 miles on the elliptical and some stretching.
 
I am returning to work today. My cervical spine xray showed moderate arthritis but no abnormalities. I am still waiting for the right shoulder xray results. I am right handed so I naturally move it all day. When something hurts I usually opt for elliptical cardio which you know I do mostly because my foot was bothering me with high impact. I have been keeping my weights lighter but decided to do Meso 1 which isn't heavy. The shoulder was fine but started bothering me again at the end of last week. I thought it was funny because I only did cardio for the last week. Anyway, I use the bars on the elliptical to move my arms back and forth so I need to probably just rest overall. I am waiting to hear rest of results and to find out if she wants me to get the steroid shot for the pain.
