Hello BB's,

Nobody around today? I am posting really late and didn't see a thread. Today will be GS Back, Biceps, and Shoulders plus a 30 min. Interval Run. Hope this will get done today. Just to many people wanting me to do different things today. Have to figure which is a priority.

Have a great day!

Laurie

Hi Laurie and everyone else,

This is a stressful day. I'm taking a breather right now, but there's still a lot left in the day! I'm on deadline on the paper I produce, and stories are coming in from our writers very slowly. I also have my first biology exam tonight right after work, then lab right after, and I think I'm more tired than I remember ever being! I'm not doing that much more than I used to, and my workouts have remained consistent, so I don't understand why I've been feeling so consistently exhausted, even over the weekend. I was going to sleep a little after 9 last night. Crazy.

Workout-related, I did the Gauntlet this morning. That's such a good workout; I felt good when I finished.

My brother wants me to come up with an exercise plan for him. I told him I'd help, but I'm not sure how to design a program for someone who isn't already a regular exerciser. He wants to gain strength and maybe lose a little weight (he's not overweight, just not as skinny as he used to be). He has asthma so running is hard for him, but he can do it when he has his inhaler with him. I was thinking maybe a 30-minute run/walk to start for cardio, then one or two body parts a day for weights? Any suggestions? I don't want to intimidate him by saying he has to start working out five days a week. He'll never stick with that. He said he'd try Cathe weight DVDs if he really has to :) He listens to or watches me do them so often, he doesn't know if it's right for him. We'll see.

Jill, how's the dog situation? Did it work out?

Take care everybody,
Ellen

Hi Ellen - What about Power 90 for your brother? It has a short cardio and a short total body workout. Times vary from 30-40 minutes I think. He could sub other cardio or mix it up. Beach Body also has Power Half Hour that he might like but no cardio in the set. Does he like kickboxing? Another good "guy" workout is Tom Holland's Total Body (first one). It is 40-45 minutes and has short bursts of cardio. As far as Cathe, he might like the Pyramids but doesn't sound like he is wanting that level at this time.

Jill - What happened with the dog? Is Mace coming to live with you tomorrow?

It is definitely Monday! DH left for Bulgaria this morning so I didn't get my workout in with helping him get stuff together. Maybe tonight but have some painting I want to do too. I hope after this trip there aren't any for a long time. We have so much to do in the house. I also need to get my Cathe pre-order ordered. I am hopeful that since there are only 4 these won't take so long and we will have them in December.

Hello BB
Today was IMAX2...i love that DVD, it was also grocery shopping and to the mall for some new bras. Tomorrow it will some type of cardio and then some ME from FitTV. Have a great day.

Hi everyone. Monday is my day at the office and I'm too busy to post!

Laurie-I'm sure everyone can understand that dilemma-being pulled in 9 different directions makes putting yourself tough. I hope you got your run and upper body workout in.

Ellen-sounds like your stress level is up there! Yikes. RE: your brother...does he get fittv? Maybe he could start doing some Gilad workouts and wouldn't feel less "manly" doing Cathe? And I'm getting my dog tomorrow!! I took a vacation day. I have to pick him up in Sun Prairie. The little guy got neutered today so he'll be a little out of it for awhile, but that might not be a bad thing. I have two cats and I don't think they're going to be thrilled with the new addition. His name is Macey.

Marie-Yup! Mace is his official name but I'm gonna call him Macey. I really wanted a girl dog cuz I love the name Macy, but my son said it's "too gay" for a boy dog lol. You didn't preorder yet?? LOL. I ordered the set, but I'm going to try not to obsess about it in case it takes as long as the HCs did. :( Bulgaria?? What does your DH do for a living?

Hi Jedi! Thanks for reminding me about Imax..... I really need to get back on track.

I'm feeling much better and know that my ex-BF is doing okay, so that helps. :) I have worked out two days in a row now-yay! I did Rythmic Step tonight. And I'm pretty proud-it's hard for me to exercise on Mondays since I'm at the office all day. I can't remember HOW on earth I worked out regularly when I drove to Milw every day. It seems so hard to fit it in now on the day I have to go to the office!

Have a great night! I'll check in tomorrow and let you know how Macey's doing in his new home. :)
Jill
