Boot Camp

Cathe,

I really really want to pre-order the new Bootcamp Video, can you give me a little bit more of description of what that video will consist of? Thank you.

Lori

Hi Lori! Things always get more fine tuned as we work through rehearsals and all but I can tell you that there will be 4 minute cycles that repeat themselves with different exercises.

For example one circuit can look like this:

A minute of cardio(jack series)then rest 15 seconds

A minute of leg work(lunges)then rest 15 seconds

A minute of upper body(push up series)then rest 15 seconds

A minute of ab/core (slow sit ups w/med ball)rest 15 seconds

I actually was not looking to get this workout, but it sounds great and I ordered all the DVDs. I can't wait.

Oh that just sounds incredibly cool! Ehm... I guess I will no longer be able to slink out of the ab work as much as do now huh? ;-)

My only suggestion for Boot Camp

Hi Cathe! Hope you and your boys (all 3!) are doing well. :)

My suggestion for boot camp is that you NOT do the stern drill sergeant act. Without mentioning names or initials (you know, like CIA or anything like that :-rollen), there was one other boot camp tape that comes to mind with an instructor that I like very much in her other workouts, but she drove me nuts with her whistle and psuedo-drill sergeant orders. Please, no "hup-two-three"s and don't feel the need to lower your voice an octave or two. You're a great instructor just the way you are!

I'm really looking forward to the new workouts. I'm delighted that you're incorporating medicine and stability balls. I've had both in my workout room for quite some time, especially the stability ball that I've used extensively since my knee surgeries. I'm almost afraid to see how much pain you inflict upon us! :-wow
