BM2's Scrambled Eggs

I did this premix for the first time today and barely made it through it..lol It was tough way tougher than the regular workout. I wonder why this premix took so much more effort. I seem to get through the normal BM2 routine fine and the Cardio Blast is not too bad either. I followed this up with PUB so my upper body is fried.....I feel completely drained, but that's a good thing right?:) :) :) Just wanted to share my thoughts on this premix....It's AWESOME.

I haven't done this premix in a while--is there upper body work in it?
I figure there must be since your upper body is fried from doing both PUB and Scrambled Eggs...

Allison

Allison,

Sorry no I just meant that upper body was fried from PUB. The Scrambled Eggs premix is great though but has not upper body work.

This is one of my favorite premixes! I'll often skip the actual weights and just do the cardio which is about 60 minutes and give a killer workout!

Oh my goodness, I did this premix once -- rather early in my Cathe journey -- and I thought I was going to DIE! It's tough!

I do Scrambled Eggs at least twice a week, sometimes three times. It is my most favorite premix of all Cathe's DVD's! It is 80 minutes of pure fun and sweat!

I agree that this one is much tougher than the regular workout. The reason being, I think, is adding on the blasts individually is hard. Plus they added on the bonus cardio section two times in a row. I get more sweaty with this workout than any other.

It seems that I can't get enough of the Scrambled Eggs!

Cheryl,

Wow, three times a week. There is no way I could survive this monster three times a week...lol No, guys it is not that bad. I mean it is tough but a lot of fun. BM2 is such a fun step routine and that's all this is scrambled a different way with the bonus cardio. The next time I attempt it though I will probably just be doing a cardio only day....no PUB added on..lol

Shelly,

I am totally exhausted and don't plan on doing both again, at least not for a very very long time:) If I can do this I know you can. I've seen some of your postings on the distance you go with your runs. I'm sure you are in much better shape than I am:)

well i did this workout this morning and your right, it was tough and so much fun. when i was doing the step portion all the way thru i got so proud of myself for being able to do it without messing up. a month ago i was tripping all over my step and was always on the wrong foot. now i'm right there with her.

Shannon--
I was wondering how you found the time to do both Scrambled Eggs and PUB. I would love to do that tonight but don't think my SO would appreciate me working out for half the night! Did you split it up into a morning and evening workout or were able to find the time to do them both back to back? TIA!
Sorry to be a bother--just curious!

Allison

I'm still deciding what workout I'll do today: cardio and weights. Can you give me a run-down of the Scrambled Eggs? I've never done this premix before, but I LOVE the Bootcamp premix on BMax2.

I'm new at the lingo. Can someone explain Scrambled Eggs? What DVD is it on -- NO ABBREVIATIONS, please!! :) (I'm abreviation-challenged)

Stephanie - there's a premix on the Body Max 2 DVD called Scrambled Eggs. It's 80 minutes long. I'm just doing a search to try to figure out what it entails.

Here we go:

Scrambled Eggs 80 minutes

Warm up
Step combo #1
Power circuit #1 (step, blast, lunges)
Step combo #2
Power circuit #2 (step, blast, squats)
Step combo #3
Power circuit #3 (step, blast, plie squats)
Bonus cardio
Repeat bonus cardio
Power circuit #4 (step, blast, static lunges)
Stretch

Allison,

I did them back to back. I am a graduate student and on days I'm not swamped with school work I usually have plenty of time to do a long workout. My husband works away, he is usually gone three weeks at a time. Although, even when he's in he's understanding about my workouts....He just wants me to be happy:)
