Good morning everyone!

Since I didn't get as much cardio in as I wanted yesterday morning, I took a short power walk at lunch (sweat was dripping down our backs after only one lap - 1.3 miles) and then decided to go for a run last night (2 mile run out, 2 mile power walk back). I even ran up the hill that so often knocks me down. However, I didn't stretch last night (DH can't find the yoga DVD) so I woke up this a.m. very stiff. I'll need to get in LBWO tonight after work.

Sounds like everyone had a great workout yesterday!

Made it through another day of clean eating. Looking forward to that blueberry pancake recipe!

DH has been good the past 2 days- both workouts and eating. We've officially started over on a 12 week challenge at this house, so today is day 3.

Hey to everybody that follows! Today is a cardio day,i'am doing a dogwalk and then a run interval on the treadmill!

Heidi-the other day you asked me if i ever do any itreads,ive got a couple and i may do one today! I forget the name of it but theres running and powerwalking and hill climing on it!(lol,that probably describes half of them);)

I forgot my lunch and snacks at home! And I did such a good job packing clean food - veggie patties and grapes for my first snack, spinach salad and turkey burger on whole wheat bun for lunch, and almonds for afternoon snack, along with a shake packet (just in case).

Ok, got a few minutes, running to Meijer to get a few things!

Sherry – Oh no! I hope you were able to get some snacks for later. That’s so great that your DH is doing a challenge with you! Great run/walk last night….the weather here has been so muggy. I can’t wait for it to cool down even just a little. I promise to post the blueberry pancake recipe tonight (I’m at work right now). ;)

Amelia – Have fun on your doggie walk/run interval. I like this iTread for incline walking with intervals of running and power walking.


iTread25– 30 Minutes w/Nick (35:12) – uses perceived exertion not numbers
Walk (2 minutes) – low intensity
Walk – 3% incline – medium intensity
Walk – 5% incline – increase intensity (about 10 minute mark here)
Walk – 2.5 – 4.0 speed – side stepping 1 minute each side (twice)
Walk – Active recovery
Run – High Intensity (4 minutes)
Walk – Active Recovery
Walk – 7.5% incline – high intensity (4 minutes)
Walk – Active Recovery
Run – High Intensity (4 minutes)

Belinda – I’m going to start another rotation after my 50k in a week and a half. I’m thinking of doing the M&F Her’s Look Great in 8 rotation using Cathe DVDs and running. Hopefully STS will be out soon!

This morning I did Cathe’s Bootcamp followed by a 1.5 mile run using the first half of iTread 26.

Just a really busy day for me! I haven't worked out yet and I don't know if my player is going to work as it is. I was having issues with it yesterday! My DH instantly went online and purchased another one for me!!! What a great guy! ;)

Congrats to you all that did your workouts today! Great job!!!

Kathy: I have some iTread credits for next month...I am going to add #25 to it! Thank you for the description. I will look forward to that recipe later.

Belinda: I too am missing Melissa and Gayle and quite a few others! I hope everyone is doing great and enjoying their summer!
