BFL - TGIF - 4/11

HEY THERE! Only time for a real quick post.

Michelle-THANK YOU! You're absolutely right too, OF COURSE YOU ARE RIGHT! LOL I've been giving it a lot of thought and think that I need to change a few small things as well! Go figure! Not 100% perfect, hugh? WHO KNEW? LOL

I just got in from an AWESOME fast walk outside. I strapped on my GPS and off I went for 4 miles, 53 minutes. I have my Half this month, and mid-May I'm visiting a Catheite friend in Ohio and we're WALKING the Cleveland Half. I'm actually a bit afraid of WALKING it, so I thought I'd power walk a bit to check my pace, my shins, etc. FELT GREAT and the weather is gorgeous!

Sorry, gotta go meet the bus!

Oh I LOVE coffee and will never give it up...I go to bed at night thinking about my morning cofee!! The only reason I am trying to cut way down on caffeine is that Im trying to get preg. And also if I drink more than 2 cups I get jittery. But in doing this I do really feel better throughout the day.

Melissa-I say have your medium coffee with 2 sugars. You love it and it can defienlty go into a clean eating plan. Coffee is my only "vice". Only other thing I drink is water. I am a big NON believer in diet drinks. Fake stuff really scares me.

Michelle- I have an 80 cal fudge bar after lunch and supper. If I didn't I would be thinking of chocolate allll the time and end of binging. 160 cals is better than 3000..which I have be known to do!!
 
Hello to everyone,

Just came in from working outside in the yard and completed the 2nd floor bath, also washed the kitchen floor. I am really exhausted right now and all this talk of coffee...now I have a cupOJoe in hand and running out the door to pick up DS from school.

You are all doing great! WE all have our ups and downs at times but this is life. Doing what works for you is the key...look at Michelle. No one is perfect and as long as you are happy with yourself this is what counts the most.

After my back straightens up I might be able to get in that workout. :+

Hey girls,i don't have time for personals but i wanted to pop in and tell Michelle congratulations on her success! That is AWESOME girl!!!

and to report that i have yet to do my workout and plan on doing it when the kids go to bed. Butts and Gutts is just one of those workouts that I have to psych myself out for,LOL:)

Well now you all know why I don't post my meals!! har har!

Really, I eat the BFL style - most of the time -- well, 80% of the time. Nobody is perfect -- and who is to say BFL is perfect??

Susan - I agree in giving up the caffeine when you are pregnant. What worked for me was -- once I became pregnant I was so queazy in the mornings, I all of a sudden did't want it. So, I didn't even have to work at giving it up.

The power of walking!! I have to say, even though I'm trying to get some miles in running - I am always sore after a good hard walk - it uses different muscles!! Go for it Gayle!

Okay, glad there wasn't any Survivor chat -- didn't have a chance to watch it last night!!
