Stephanie-what are you getting into today;) me....nothing,beside's the big pile of laundry in my bathroom:rolleyes: I had a dream about painting my kitchen last night, now im thinking about doing it:D:p I've even got a color in mind, the same color as the one in my dream, its medium shade of green,LOL! Weird huh?

ok, so for me today its cleaning, and squeezing in a workout-run interval and some LB.

Im kinda proud of myself:D we stopped at a fast food restraunt yesterday for supper and I really wanted a greasy cheeseburger and french fries...BUT i got a grilled chicken sandwich without mayo and a side salad:D it made me feel warm and fuzzy afterwards:p

Amelia, funny dream! My favorite color is green! I say PAINT the kitchen!!! LOL

Great job fighting those cravings at the fast food joint! Just think, if you had broken down and ordered that junk, you would be kicking yourself this morning but instead you are in a great mood and probably feel good physically, right? I am so proud of you!

I'm getting ready for ss and church then off to the in-laws for greasy food (I eat before I go!) then home to watch some football. Then clean-max, laundrymax, etc. Not sure if I will get in a workout today or not. We'll see!

Well, gotta get going!

Morning!
Amelia & Steph - sounds like you have busy days today! Enjoy your workouts. :)

Let's see, I ran 5 miles on Thursday...Friday I did a heavy BFL upper body wkout + the premix on the new Firm Med ball workout/abs and today was another rest day (I have too much to do to fit anything in!) I'll get my 6 mile run in tomorrow that I was going to do today. It's taper week so my plan is to do (2) 6 mile runs and a short 2-3 mile run plus an upper and lower body. Woohoo, marathon next weekend!

Hope everyone has a great day.

Kathy

Hello to you all,

Ameila: Great job choosing good eats! ;) I am proud of you!!!

Steph: Have a great day at church. We all seem to be doing the same thing on the weekends....laundry and catch up on house stuff.

Kathy: Boy do I know what you mean about too much to do!!! I spent all weekend crunching numbers instead of my abs. My DH and I finally settled on a fixed budget to clear up morgages and lines of credit etc. I think this is going to work.....
My belief is that if you can't buy it with cash then don't buy it at all. You just end up paying for it several times over if it is on a CC.
Great job on your workout and run. I just got back from a woodland walk with DH to let off some of this stress. I am not sure how far we walked on these trails but it most be up there around 4-5miles. I will check it out the next time I go with my garmin forerunner.
How are your classes going? DD is currently studying for another test coming up next weds. She also has two reports to write....I think I hear her snooring! ;)

Belinda: How are you feeling today? I hope that your DD has a good flight. Thinking of you. :)

Hello to Gayle, Melissa and Michelle. What have you all been up to? Hope things are well with you all.

Well that's all I have at the moment. BBSoon again. Heidi

PS I tried the Butternut Squash & Potato Curry W/ Brown Basmati Rice yesterday. The family all thought it was great! I just had some more a few minutes ago. YUMMY!
This is in the current Clean Eating Magazine pg. 50

Hope you don't mind if I drop by . . .

First of all, thank you very much for the warm birthday wishes. I got a new barbell set. It's standard size, but the bar is shorter so it's much easier to handle. I also got Pride and Prejudice on DVD, the 10th anniversary edition of THE edition. Both very cool gifts.

Next, I have been very lax in my exercise, and haven't wanted to post "didn't do anything again today." I haven't even by stopping by regularly to just read through the posts. Looks like while I've been gone, many others have started coming by again. Life has been a bit much to handle lately, but DH has a new job, so that helps financially. I'm looking, but I know that will take time. In the meantime, I'm just trying to hang in there.

Also, today was the Detroit marathon. Despite the nearly complete lack of any kind of training regimen for 4 out 5 team members, we kicked the guys butts! We had 2 teams running from work, and the ladies did quite well. 'Course we brought in a ringer because the one guys wife runs an 8.5 min mile and she set-us up great.

I did get a photo of Clint Verran, international marathon runner, who was trying to win his hometown race (see profile album). Watching that level cruise by at that awesome pace is very inspiring.

Now, my lack of training did bother my outer knee, letting me know that my muscles are very tight from the lack of exercise/stretching combined with overall stress. My goal this week is stretch seriously every morning, a small attempt to get me doing the right things once again. If I don't make it, someone please come by and give me a swift kick!

I plan to see you all in the morning. Hope you are all doing well!
