Good morning girls,

I am back form Italy! We had a blast! I ate and drunk way too much! I will not weight myself until Friday! I also have lots pictures to share! We got caught in a snow storm coming back to Germany yesterday! I couldn’t believe all that snow! I am also getting ready to fly to the US Friday! I am so excited to see my kids!I have lots of work to do!
I hope I will catch up with all my workouts this week!

I am getting ready to do PLB and later today I will do cardio!

Yesterday was pretty busy at work. I was up late last night corresponding with customers so I never did get in my cardio. Well at least I did my upper body workout.:p

Today is an iTread 60min. and abs.

Good morning all!

Belinda - Welcome back! So glad you enjoyed Italy. Calories don't count when you are on vacation, right? And snow? I'm hoping we're finally done with all that stuff. Daffodils and tulips are poking their way through right now.

Heidi - Working late is a bummer sometimes, especially when it gets in the way of things you want to do. Hope you are getting it in now.

On the schedule was cardio for me this a.m., and I was going to attempt Basic Step, but DS got sick last night, tummy problems which he blames on the well water at camp, so I didn't have the energy this a.m. Looks like he will be staying home from school. I'll get it in tonight - maybe a light jog?

Started having chocolate cravings and then realized it's TTOM. I think 2 dove chocolates isn't that bad. I'm trying so hard to keep it under control.


Hope you all have a hard workout and a clean eating day!
 
Hi Sherry:

Poor DH! I hope he feels better soon. Hopefully you will be able to get a little extra rest today as well. Being up at night with a family member who is sick can sap your energy as well.
Isn't chocolate suppose to be good for your heart as well?;)

Belinda: Great job on your workout! Are you sure you want to tackle IMAX2 after PLB? :eek: Wow you will be kicking butt today!!!}( Have a great day.

Heidi-I with you,this is such a great place to get motivation! ThEverybody here was so sweet and so quick to offer advice/support when i first started....its just awesome what a bunch of ladies can do when we get together!

Today is atleast a 45min cardio,im suppose to do imax2..but im still deciding on either it or a TM interval for a hour! My ankle is still giving me some soreness.

Belinda – We missed you!!!! I’m so glad you had a good time – AND glad you ate and drank too much! We all workout so hard so we can do that – and NOT feel guilty about it!

Sherry – I hope you DS is feeling better soon! 2 dove chocolates is NOTHING! Especially during TTOM. Last night I was walking through a store with my kids and they still had Easter candy left. They were selling 10 boxes of peeps for $1. The kids begged – but I was STRONG!!

Amelia – Take care of that ankle!!

Okay, I’m still on my plan to have fun this week. DH is out of town, so I couldn’t leave the house for a run – as the little ones are still sleeping. So, I did the elliptical and then I did my own core routine. Some ab roller (remember that old thing?) and some hanging leg things – whatever they are called. Feeling good and having fun!! I think I’m going to pull out 4DS tomorrow!

Michelle, sounds like you had a great workout! That's great you are still planning on doing whatever you feel like each day. Good for you on being STRONG at the store yesterday! It's hard passing up a "deal" even if it's bad for you, isn't it! :9

My plan is 4 miles on the TM, then abs.

Sherry-I hope DS feels better. My DD was up 3 times last night too..I have basically been up since 3:30. She has acheievemnt test tomorrow and I think she is nervous. The teacher has been drilling it into their heads how important they are. Too much pressure for 2nd graders!! I'll be sending you some feel good wake up eat clean vibes. And you did great having 2 chocolates!!!

Michelle-so glad you are having fun workouts this week!! Thats what its all about. I am having fun with te April rotation.

Hey Stephanie have a nice walk.

Ameilia-IMAX 2 is fun, but if you are hurting the TM would be better.

Today is Butts and Guts for me. I am still at 123..so at least the weekend mess-up didnt do me in yet.

It's about time to get DD up and going. I'll be back after my workout.

Ok,no workout yet...im waiting for DH to wake so i can do a run interval then a powerwalk on the TM. im going for four miles

Susan-I will take you and Stephanie's advice and do the TM. Have good o'time with Butts and gutts}( I think i will do that one on friday instead of gs legs:+

Susan, I agree...Too much pressure for 2nd graders! Why do they do that? Have fun with Butts & Guts! Way to go on your stabilized weight. I kinda blew it yesterday and am up 1 pound to 131. No biggie though! It's coming off this week! ;-)

Amelia, okay, does someone need a vacation?! LOL! :+ I just finished my 4 mile run on the TM. I sometimes watch tv; today was the show "The Nanny". Never really liked that show but all that was on was the news and I don't like watching THAT. Too depressing! The run felt great! Burned 662.2 calories! YIPPEE!

Sorry this is a hit and run….I have a meeting in a few minutes. First of all, thanks so much yesterday for all you input on the swimming. You all had me laughing! Stephanie, I sure wish you lived closer!

This morning I ran 6 miles (time 1:01:56 – pace 10:19) using iTread 26 & iTread 20 (both 30 minute wkouts). It was right on target for my tempo run which should be about 10:23. Once this last run is over with later in the week, I’ll concentrate on upping the mileage a bit on my tempo runs a bit for the last three weeks prior to the marathon.

Hey guys. SUPER UBER FAST checkin from me. Running REALLY REALLY late! I slept in, planned to as well, and was going to get my workout in after the bus and before work. DID NOT HAPPEN! Phone rang off the hook and I couldn't avoid the calls (Caller ID is a God send most of the time, lol). And now I have to head to work, then grocery store, then the kids are getting hair cuts after school/homework. Then tonight is my PTA meeting. The BIG ONE! I'll be THE OFFICIAL PTA PRESIDENT after tonight (assuming, of course, that nobody DARES to oppose me, lol). And it will be a LONG meeting because of the elections, and the Superintendent is coming to discuss School District plans for the next 2 years (we're building a new Middle School and it's changing a lot of things), AND there are going to be special-interest groups there to discuss some big issues with him (I'm involved with one of those groups as well). I'm not planning on being home anywhere before 10pm.

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO...it sounds like I've missed my chance for today's workout. No biggie. I'll get on that one tomorrow!

I'm sporting some DOMS from Back & Biceps yesterday. OUCH! LOVE THOSE PULL UPS!

Belinda-----did the gals tell you where WE ALL visited while you were gone? Did they? I went to London while you were in Italy. Ask Amelia where SHE went.....it's gorgeous! LOL I'm so glad you ahd a wonderful time with DH! We thought of you often!

Stephanie-yes, the stroke I am talking about has my face above the water (unless my chin and mouth go under just a bit). So that's which one? Butterfly? Breast? lol

Butts and Guts done..thats a fun workout. I can already tell I won't be able to walk tomorrow!! PLB is on deck for Thursday..then Low Max Friday...will I ever be able to walk!!

Hi again ladies! Just browsing around for awhile! :)

I'm so excited Gayle - got my Famous Daves tanner in the mail yesterday - I'm going to try it out tonight!! :)

For those you who were around in December, right before we started this thread - I never dreamed I could get up early every morning. I just didn't think I had it in me. Those first few days were hard - (and I had to be threatened by Gayle that she would come over to my house and jump on my bed and sing the National Anthem in German - or something like that) -- a few days into it and it became the best thing that I had ever done. I was happier, had more energy -- I just felt better than ever!

Hurting my back and then moving was a huge bump in the rode -- but I took it in stride and just realized that's what life is -- a journey filled with obstacles. Now, after a great last week - and two days into this week -- I couldn't wait for the alarm to go off at 4:30 this morning!!

It's like a runner's high - that lasts all day!! I'm so glad that I've realized this isn't just for 12 weeks -- who'd want to give this up after only 12 weeks!!??

Okay - I have to stop being so sappy!

Sherry** I have to burn those calories off this week! LOL! I will eat clean all week long, no cheat day on Sunday! Hope your DS feels better soon! Hope you enjoyed you run today!

Heidi** after PLB I took the dogs for a 3 mile walk! I am tired right now! Maybe I will do IMAX in 2 hours! I am not sure how I will fit my entire workout in before Friday?

Michelle** I did walked up hills a lot! If this makes you feel better! I ate and rank a lot of wine, but I also walked a lot! We had to walk up hills every day to and from the hotel to the restaurant! We don’t drink and drive! My heart was pumping so hard, not sure if it was the wine or the hills! LOL!

Stephanie** I already feel the burn! Hope you enjoyed your 4 miles on the TM+abs!

Susan** my kids live in El Paso TX! Glad you enjoy the April rotation!

Hi everyone and welcome back Belinda! We missed you!!! Glad to hear that you had a wonderful weekend with DH.

I got in my BFL UB workout last night but only back, shoulders & biceps. DD wasn't feeling to well and needed some cuddling on the couch. That beats working out any day!! I did military presses for my shoulders and was pretty proud of myself for squeaking out 20lbs on the 6 reps. I wrote out my workout in advance and eeked up my weights a little. I know that if it's in ink, I will not cross it out to go lower. The mental games we play!!!

Tonight I will do chest & tris as well as HIIT. I'm going to do Gin Miller's Intense Moves. I love this workout!!

Everybody seems so quiet today. Or maybe it's just me. I am procrastinating getting a project done and I keep checking to see if anyone is chit-chatting. :eek:

Meals for today:

M#1: coffee protein shake & 1 applesauce oatmeal muffin (this time I made these with pumpkin spice instead of nutmeg and I like them much better)
M#2: apple & string cheese
M#3: chicken chili (getting a little sick of this!)
M#4: w/w wrap, 3 oz 93% lean beef, 1T l/f cheddar, mustard & tomatoes (I am lovin' this. It's just as good as a big, juicy burger!)
M#5: 4 oz grilled steak, baked potato & steamed green beans
M#6: Not sure yet, but it will definetly involve peanut butter!!:9

Gayle, reading your "things to do" today/tonight and me tired! Are you sorry you ran for President yet! LOL! It's great you are involved in your kids school. It makes a difference! You are a great Mom! And yes, that would be the breast stroke! That was my all time favorite too!

Susan, it's going to take you several minutes longer to reach the computer in the morning! I have been shopping around for a blow-up toilet seat cushion, which I'm sure you will need too! LOL :7 You are getting closer to finishing with school, aren't you? 3 weeks left?

Michelle, sniff sniff. I am so happy you found what makes you happy! You brought a tear to my eye!

Belinda, that's right! We all went on trips too! I went to New Zealand! Had a wonderful time! HAHA

Melissa, sorry your DD was sick. :-( Hope she feels better soon! Great job on the military presses! What's on your meal plan today? I will be making turkey meatloaf muffins and am trying for the first time Cauliflower Mashed Potatoes! NO FAT!!! I'll let you know how it all turned out. The meatloaf also has carrots so I will be eating pretty healthy tonight! Ah, I see you just posted your meal plan! Looks good now GET TO WORK!
 
I agree, where is everyone? Not a lot going on today!

As for me, I'm gearing up for Biggest Loser -- I can't wait to see Ali go kick some butt! :)
