BFL for Monday August 4th

Sherry, great run/power walk yesterday! Glad you got some organizing done yesterday! It feels so good to have everything in it's place, doesn't it? Loved your "cheap" meal story! LOL :eek: Your run does sound like an adventure! Hope you enjoy Kickmax!

Got my workout in and I'm ready to hit the shower then off to work! Need to do the stretching portion of today's rotation during my lunch hour...which I'm sure I will need!

Today is MM sometime and a dog walk before it gets too hot:confused:

Stephanie-what workout did you do this morning? Great job on getting it in and over with! Thanks agian for the comments on my albums....yeah my little guy wasn't a happy camper in that picture,LOL.

Hello Amelia: Have a great workout with MM! I am still following BFL but a little mixed up because I want to follow Cathe's new rotation for this month. So today is Cardio. My plan is to get in a run with iTread #32.

Later I am taking another hike with DH. My oldest DS is coming over to visit as well.
We ended up at another orchard yesterday to pick raspberries but they were all rotten! What a shame to see everything there in that state. It must be from having too much rain. We did find loads of blueberries so that is what we picked. We got out of there just as it started to downpour!

Sherry – The underwater trek of the marathon sounds cool! Is that going to be part of your leg? LOL, my boys like Little Caesar’s (but the only one we have is inside a Kmart). Good job on slowly increasing your mileage, keeps injuries at bay. ;)

Steph – Are you doing Cathe’s Aug rotation, too? What cardio did you do this morning?

Amelia – I’m following Cathe’s Aug rotation (loosely for the first two weeks). I have a race this weekend and I had planned a “rest” type of week next week but we’ll see how I feel next Monday!

Jay – Yay, another iTrain user! Which ones are your favorites? Do you use iClimbs as well?

This morning I did a fun cardio mish-mosh of 12 minutes of Quick Blast (a new DVD I got at Ross) + 3 tracks of RPM (spinning) + ran 3 miles using most of Cardio Coach Vol 2 Rev + Stretch Max segment 1. Whew, sounds like a lot but it was only about an 85 minute workout.

Wow, that's too bad about all that fruit! I love blueberries, I put them in my oatmeal all the time...yummy! Enjoy your iTread and hike today. I sure hope the new iTreads go up soon and that there's something good this month.

High fives to all the workouts already today! I have yet to get one in....waiting for my DH to go to work then i plan on doing either MM or a UB or LB and a run interval....not sure yet? I will BBL to report it:D
 
Hey Amelia! I am still following the BFL diet. Since I am doing the rotation for August I guess I'm not following the exercise plan for BFL. I am taking measurements but not the photos anymore.:eek: Are you still following it? Have fun with your workout!

Hello all!

Just in from my lunch time power walk - 2.5 miles. Waiting for the taco meat to cool before eating my taco salad for lunch.

Stephanie - Great job getting in your workout! I choose to sleep in since I didn't sleep well last night - was restless for some reason. I hope to get in a higher intestity workout this evening (Kickmax), if I can work it in.

Amelia - I am still doing BFL, but I'm giong with the Aug rotation this month along with the others here - is very much BFL style and I don't have to figure out what to do myself to mix it up.

Juanita - Great workout planned. Keep with the program and you'll get great results.

Heidi - Rasberries are my favorite, right behind pineapple, but that doesn't grow readily here in MI. I'd be really bummed, too. Enjoy the hike.

Kathy - My knee had been starting to bother me, so I slowed down a bit, and I'm glad I did. Last few runs have been great. I figure the 10K this year, maybe a 1/2 next year, and the following year maybe the whole 26.2! (Wow, that's ambitious)

Enough fun - back to work. Enjoy the rest of the day!
 
Hey Sherry-great powerwalk! I too had taco meat, had it in a whole wheat wrap..mmm,mmm good!;)

Stephanie-im not really following any program right now:confused: im counting my calories and working out 5/6 days a week! I guess i do kinda eat BFL,small meals throughout the day! so far i have managed to lose 8lbs in the three wks ive been doing it!

ok,just skipping by...can you ladies tell im bored today:D hopefully the next time i post it will be to report a workout:)

Glad to be home from work! DH is working out of town and DS is in PA visiting relatives so I get the whole house to myself until Thursday evening! WHOOOHOOO!!! Who wants to come over for a slumber party! :D

Hi,

Just back from the hike. It was pretty hilly and loads of rocks to climb around. My DH, 3 sons and I went. We had a nice time. It was threatening to rain or thunder but it never came about. I took pictures with my cell phone of engraved stones along the paths. Maybe I can post them somehow. (Not too good at that sort of thing! ;) )

DH is cooking dinner. YES!!! Boys are playing quitar and I am relaxing for once. DD should be calling soon for a pick-up.

I will be doing my run later this evening....want to enjoy the moment! ;)
