beginner rotation question.......about body fusion!

Hello All

I'am in my fourth week of the beginner rotation and I've done body fusion a couple times before starting the rotation to get familar with it,but I couldn't finish the third step combo:-( today. the part where cathe starts doing the half sqats with those side lunges.OMG....lol! did anybody else have this problem starting out?

I'am a rather larger gal (about 215)so I guessing that as something to do with it!;-);-)!or the fact that I was about to fall out!lol

My Basic Step dvd didn't include Body Fusion. However, when I first started Basic Step, I couldn't even do the 9 minute warm up without the risers! LOL Also, when I started Low Impact Step/Total Body Sculpting, I couldn't do all the lunges and squats at first. It didn't take too long to be able to do it, a couple of weeks maybe. But, I had to push myself to do a little more each time I tried.

Just keep doing the best you can! :)
 
Hi, There! That third combo always gets me. The uneven squats followed by lunges side to side off the step are intense. Those hop turns and step hops require some propulsion, so your body works really hard. I have yet to do the whole workout without taking breaks, but it gets easier. Just be patient with yourself and before you know it you'll be sailing through the workout!
 
maybe lower your step height to 4 inches or just squat in place on the floor and work up to the step?--keep at it--it will come--don't be afraid to modify, just do something in place of the difficult spots until you can master them

sorry about the mispellings,my son hates it when Iam on the computer and tries to anchor his head between me and the thing! I was in the middle of a battle with him while posting.....thanks agian!!!
