beachbody customer service/shipping

Has anyone had problems with orders/shipping/customer service/receiving packages from beachbody?

I ordered P90X for DH for father's day, they charged my credit card 05/24 and said it shipped that day; never able to track that one. Called, they SAID another shipped 2 day air 06/02; never able to track that one. Called, they SAID another shipped 06/09 2day air; never able to track that one. Called today, they said nothing has ever been shipped, but they'll ship today 2 day air.

Keep in mind I paid for this in full and they've had my money since 05/24 and I don't know WTH they have done - if anything - regarding shipment.

Any feedback regarding dealings with Beachbody would be appreciated.

Melody, Melody, Melody. I'm very sorry to inform you that BeachBody is absolutely INFAMOUS for horrid, poor, shoddy, and otherwise crappy customer service.

Tips on dealing with the nightmare:

1. Use the Live chat feature on the BB site and speak to someone named Amber who is supposedly the only person in the place who can straighten anything out, and is not rude.

2. Check your credit card!!! BB is notorious for multiple charges in situations like this.

3. Expect at some point in the far, far future, you will actually receive these many shipments, probaby in triplicate. Perhaps in time for Christmas. Expect it will take much effort and frustration on your part to get these things returned and your cc un-charged. Expect them to act like it is your fault that they have the worst shipping system and customer service in the entire universe. Expect them to pooh-pooh your concerns until you turn off the credit card.

I'm sorry you're dealing with this. Last time I ordered from them it took me FOUR weeks to get my merchandise, despite being charged the day of the transaction. It was lost, they couldn't find me, I must live in timbuktu, etc., etc. However, a friend of mine used the expedited shipping and received HIS package within the week. Lesson learned: if you want to receive the things in a timely manner, you'll have to pay extra.

Actually, I am right there with you. I broke down and ordered Turbo Jam Max Results last week. I hope to receive them by August.

Oh boy, for Father's Day I get to say "Honey, our credit card has $4000 charged by beachbody and you do NOT own P90X, HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!"

Actually, he's already pretty buff, but wants this (I want it too). However, I don't think he wants to pay thousands for it...guess it's off to live chat at BB.
 
After reading the BB nightmare Customer Service posts, I'll never order from them.

What happened?

I swore I'd never order from them again, either, but I broke down and ordered TJ (of course it's not the one I could get from QVC who have awesome customer service).

Anyway, sorry for your pain.
 
Do you know the song "Will it go round in circles?" That pretty much describes dealing with BB customer service.

Never ever ever again. I don't care how great the workouts are.

BTW if Cathe.com customer service is "listening" {{{{{{HUGS}}}}}} and I love you.
 
I had to come back. I'm LOL sitting here looking at the package delivered by UPS late today...yep...P90X and pullup bar.:7

However, 2 hours before delivery BeachBody said it still had not shipped, but that it would go out today. WOW, isn't UPS very efficient...delivery from across the US within 2 hours.
 
OOOOOHHHHHH Melody. Defintely check your credit card. Like someone said BB is notorious for mult charges in situations like this. BTW let me know when you start your rotation. I am thinking of starting a rotation the first of July.

I never said I was doing a P90X rotation, this one of DH's father's day gifts.:p But at some point I'm sure I will. I'll certainly let you know.

LOL. He's 25 and a pretty big package, I couldn't afford to ship him to them.

I'm expecting about 5 packages to arrive within the next 2 weeks and as many credit card charges out of this deal. :7

Good luck with your order. Mine was actually processed and delivered quickly, but BB doesn't seem to know that.:+
 
Oh, I had problems with them too! I ordered Turbo Jam Max Results in the beginning of May, and I accidentally ordered it two times cause I was confused by their website. Anyway, three weeks later, when I still didn't receive anything, I sent their cust service dept e-mail after e-mail, and heard nothing. I did a little research on the beachbody forums and realized that many people had problems. I still did not get my 2nd set, but I was charged for it...a call to the atty general's office will be my next step. Good luck! Beachbody could take some lessons from Cathe.com!
 
Don't forget to watch out for them to charge you for their diet club too. I ordered Turbo Jam several months ago and received it with no problems (miracle!) but then had mysterious charges show up for a diet club I didn't sign up for. When I called customer service, they were total jerks. I finally had to threaten them with an attorney and calls to the better business bureau, plus reporting them to my cc for fraudulent charges. They suddenly wanted to give me a refund...go figure.
 
Thanks to everyone for the heads up regarding credit card charges, I assumed as much.

So at least we can say BB is consistent with their customer service, shipping, etc.
 
I guess I'm in the minority here. Other than having to wait a LONG time for my order (about 4 weeks once; 2 weeks the other 2 times I ordered), I've never had any other problems. I keep hearing their customer service/shipping problems are getting better though but apparently there are still some glitches.
